I find something funny about the idea of Ash becoming more mature... I guess it seems to me like he'll never grow up. Sabrina definitely seems much more mature than him. Then again, Sabrina seems much more mature than a lot of characters. Too bad Will never appeared in the anime...
 
The way the anime producers make him look does indeed support the theory that he'll never mature. But that's where fanart comes in. ^.~
Yes, Sabrina is way more mature than him. I would even say she's more mature than every main character. But that has to do with how she was when we first met her. Now that she's 'healed', she could be childish, too. Wouldn't surprise me, I mean, Sabrina never had a real childhood...
Well, Agatha appeared really late in the Anime, we can still hope...
 
Even though Sabrina never had a childhood, I would hope she would still be a mature character. I guess it's because she would become like most other characters if she was childish. Of course, I'd prefer almost all the characters to be more mature anyway...

Who knows, maybe for some reason Sabrina would show up in the anime another time, but it would be a real long shot.
 
Yeah, that's right. Although I can't really see her starting to be immature- it's just how she was that stops her from being so, the consequences would be big. Sabrina would loose her originality, she wouldn't be different anymore. Maybe it's better that she didn't appear in the Saffron BF episodes, the writers could have messer her up completely.

^ I would be happy, that's for sure, but lets wait what the writers might do to her...>>

I don't think she's necessarily mature, but probably much more distant and quiet as a result of that. ^^; I don't think she would be childish, since she has no experience of a real childhood, I don't think she would be able to really think of doing anything childish. Still, she may be mature as a result of being self-sufficient. ^^;

I agree with buster_wolf that Sabrina simply can't be childish because...well, if you were never a child, how should you know what's childish? ^^
But I can't see her as not mature, just like I can't see her acting immature (whoa, the same just with two more letters XD ). Maybe, if she ever overreacts because she doesn't know how to use her new emotions...but that's just my own interpretation.
 
Yeah, perhaps that's how it is. I guess she would have a hard time understanding other emotions in some ways.
 
I think Sabrina would be wanting to have the more child-like moments now, as it appears as though she never had them as a child herself. However, she should be mature, and won't act as though she would have been all those years before.

PS-Wow, I finally come back to post. Hope to become a regular again! :D
 
(I'm surprised that the topic still lives...and where is CPF?) Well, the problem is...Sabrina's still a gym leader and probably a teacher to those other psychics. Her trying to child-like moments doesn't cooperate with her being an authority.

Anyway, she would maybe enjoy some things she missed as a child, but still being more mature than most people at her age. She'd probably spend some time teaching the less experienced psychics at her gym.

I don't think I need anything to add on the topic (partly because I have forgotten what the topic was ^^() ), I should rather think of a new topic...
eh, anyway, nice new chapter, CPF! Nice idea bringing back the doll. I wonder how Sabrina & Will will (no pun intended) save Liza. Maybe that would be a good new topic. What would happen if the doll came back?
 
Thanks... I think the doll would be a big problem... if Sabrina had her personality split from her again, then it would be incredibly difficult to get herself back to normal again. I don't know if getting her to laugh would be enough to get her personality back.

That is an interesting idea, now that you mention it. I'd have to say that if the doll came back(where is it now, anyways?), Sabrina would do one of two things:

1) if she were comfortable with her new life without it, she would just set it on a counter and have pretend tea parties with her every now and again. Although this would stop in time, most likely.

2) if she is feeling depressed, and not liking herself since becoming more independent, she would go back to her old ways. For some, less emotion is better, for the simple reason that if you let everything go, you won't see anything leave on its own.

I don't think Sabrina would revert back, however. Yeah, the anime doesn't show her going one way or the other(*kicks the writers*), but I'd like to see her staying on, becoming more cheerful and perky with each passing day.

Although, if she becomes as cheerful as a Stepford Wife, I would bring the doll back myself. XD
 
Well, most popular theory is that the doll simply dissappeared, but my own theory is (which is why I asked the question), that the personality the doll had 'dissappeared', not the doll itself. It still exists, but only as a normal doll, no talking and so on. So technically it could come back, with my theory. But that's only mine, and the writers didn't tell us what "officially" happened. *barbecues them*

XD Actually, your first suggestion, Zammy, is what happens in my fanfic. (Well, almost, Sabrina tries to live with the doll but later, they pretty much make each others 'life' hell...and try to kill each other, but that's another story...)
I can't completely decide on something. I could imagine Sabrina and the doll getting a long for a short time and then splitting up like in my fanfic or, dark version, Sabrina herself even creating the doll again when she's lonely and depressed and having the doll as her only friend.
That's also the only way I could see her brining back the doll and the doll coming back by itself. If Sabrina gets lonely again.

XD Agreed, Zammy. In that case, I would even help you. ^^

But that is how stories go. If they stayed on the island together and ate fruit all day, readers would be bored. Now they get to wait and wonder if they'll see each other again. XD

And I really hope they will see each other. Really. Do not seperate them again for so long. ;_;
