Vincent shut his eyes. "I would have betrayed you either way, Kiki.... But that fact doesn't make my life any less painful.... And yet.... You still believe that I'm important to you...."
Vincent took a deep breath, fighting back his own tears. "I once had to bear the Ultimate Suffering.... How could I inflict such pain and torment against others....?"
At that moment, Vincent lifted his sword with one swift movement towards the sky, screaming a battle cry and calling forth the black dragon from before!
"Dragon, you embody all of my pain, sorrow, and rage! If I destroy you, then maybe I can finally recover!!" Vincent turned, in that instant, from suicidal to determined to destroy every source of his pain. This was Kiki's work with the last thing she said.
The dragon seemed to have known that this was coming, but not so soon. It fired a blast of flame from its mouth directly at Vincent, but he didn't care. He drew his other sword, linked it to his other sword to form the dual-blade from before, and spun it furiously to block the flames, sending them right back at the dragon. This only made the dragon stronger, but as Vincent was about to prove, pain cannot overcome love.
Vincent's aura became visible, an ominous silver in color, and he activated his skates. Glaring at the dragon (who glared right back), he raised his sword and skated at top speed towards it. The dragon flew upwards, far into the clouds, and gathered energy for a stronger flame blast.
Vincent jumped on top of one building, then another one, climbing higher with his speed to give him altitude. Finally, the dragon launched its fiery attack, a blast that could destroy all of Japan. Vincent glared up at the dragon's flame and jumped right into it. With the sound of his battle cry, the earth shook and Vincent's sword sliced that flame blast in half, diverting the blast out of harm's way. Using his momentum, Vincent flew higher and higher, catching up with his own dragon, sword raised.
"EGO ABNEGO SERVIO!!!"
Vincent landed and skated along the dragon's back, dragging his sword through the dragon's back as he did, killing it! As the dragon fell, Vincent jumped off, turning his skates off while in midair, and landed safely back outside.
Sheathing his blades after seperating them, Vincent simply remained there. He didn't smile. He didn't cry. He didn't laugh. He didn't even look up. The dragon fell in front of him, disappearing in a poof of black smoke.
Vincent stood silently, his aura fading away.
"Once again.... I am victorious for no reason...."
