Welcome to PC, theneko.
I actually think the 2nd Gen was the worst. There was some duping Pokemon hack that I did, and I think it ruined the overall experience for me with that generation. HG/SS were solid remakes; however, I just couldn't get into the 2nd Generation games at the time.
We actually have an active Anime and Manga section that you can check out. You can share your opinions with other people as well as get some new ideas on new books and shows. Unfortunately, for obvious reasons, our tattoo and weapon discussions haven't quite taken off xD.

If you're interested in anime and manga why not check out PC's own Anime & Manga board? It's got so many awesome topics on each and every anime/manga franchise you can think of. Do you have any personal faves? It wouldn't hurt for us to get to know, because someone might be out there who shares something in common with you, so it'd make sense to be friends with those who share interests.
I'm sure you can fit in really well, and take time to explore everything PC has to offer. Feel free to ask any staff members in the bolded usernames if you need any assistance, and I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction. Have fun, and I'll be seeing you around Dion!
