Hi, this is my re-vamped SS Team, it has new pokemon, and a threat list! Yay! It has been tested and it is for the Standard Ladder. If you want to help test, I will probobly be on ABYAY's server.
Tyranitar (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 6 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Crunch
- Ice Beam
- Dragon Dance
- Fire Blast
Tyranitar is an amazing lead pokemon. Fire Blast, Ice Beam, and Stone Edge make a great type coverage combo that is barely ever resisted. It can also be brought back out in Late Game and DD. When I DD the enmy also starts to think that I am a Phyisical Ttar, when I am actually mixed. Lum Berry is so that i don't go to sleep, get Paralyzed, or get Burned. Hasty is because I already have the SS boost. Most obviously though, he starts the SS and makes way for Chomp in the Mid/Late Game.
---
Gyarados (M) @ Wacan Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 72 HP/252 Atk/186 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
Gyarados is my sure-fire Heatran counter, because I really need one. Wacan Berry and SDef EVs is really just an expiriment that I have hight hopes with. Jolly is for Speed because I took away SDef EVs. SE over Ice Fang for Coverage. I maxed the Attack EVs, bla bla bla, Waterfall and EQ, and of coure DD. This guy I usually bring in any time its needed, he works well as a counter to many pokes as well.
---
Garchomp (M) @ Yache Berry
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/6 SDef
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang
- Swords Dance
- Outrage
The standard Yache SD Chomp. works amazing in SS, so many leave the match when I bring it out, so wonderful... Back from dreaming it can OHKO so many pokes its not funny. Jolly is so it can outspeed the other Chomps that carry Adamant. Everything else is so standard its not funny, so no need to tell you because you can read.
---
Lucario (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Aura Sphere
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Shadow Ball
- Vacuum Wave
This is my own little invention because I needed an unexpeted Revenge Choice Scarfer. I chose Lucario for many reasons.
1. There are so many sets, and the most common is the SD set, so I can surprise many with my moveset and way o attacking.
2. Lucario has Shadow Ball and Special and Accurate Fighting move, which make great coverage, it also has HP Ice, which is a given.
3. 115 SpAtk is nothing to sneeze at, and can pack pretty powerful attacks.
4. His steel type means he resists SS, which is very useful in a SS team.
5. His steel type also means many switches in on enemies, which is very useful in offensive teams as well.

Azelf @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Flamethrower
- Psychic
- Explosion
- Thunderbolt
An Azelf is like a great conversation starter, albiet an unpleasent one, it says something really rude, like Explosion or Psychic, and really offends Blissey and Gengar. Its like my best friend, on most every team I've made. Its speed and amazingness in both attack stats make is a great special Sweeper and Exploder when finished. Thunderbolt is there over HP Fighting or Grass Knot for several reasons, first off I already had both types taken by Mixape, and its the only Electric Type attack and sure-fire Gyarados Counter on the team.
---
Infernape (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 6 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Close Combat
- Flamethrower
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Ice]
This is a new addition to ma' Sandstorm Team. I took him out of my teams a while back, but I couldn't keep him a way, hes just too good. So many teams are so mix-ape Weak, and they don't know it, he's sort of a late game surprise sweeper. Hasty is my personal choice over Naive because I think more people are looking to kill him with Special Based Surds, rather than EQs. HP Ice really adds some needed coverage when NP is removed, I honestly don't get why it isn't the standard.
---
Ok, last but not least, since i really like this team, and since I don't want the RMT to crash and burn, I will make a threat list of the top 25 OU pokemon. Green means no threat, Orange means only one counter or revenge kill avaliable, and Red means that it can easily sweep my team. Walls omited.
