Save the Earth!!

I think that the Earth is in serious need of saving economically and naturally. Of course we shall do something about this.

However, as of now I hold no position on the cause, if it is by human causes or natural causes. Either way, conservation and action can still be done.

But right now, my first challenge is to actually get to my parents to even convince them of using the recycle bin @_@.

Honestly our earth needs to change, and I blame it on all of us people who live in it, we need to conserve things more often, and try to preserve out land...because if the global warming gets any worse then we might not be able to stop it, but for now, we all have to work together to prevent it from processing any farther! GO GREEN PEOPLe...GO GREEN!!!

I'm convinced that the climate change is more natural then manmade, but energy conservation never hurt.
I agree with Unforgettable. I'm more concerned with litter and such than Global warming.

If you or the government wants to pay for the car I'd gladly accept but I ain't buying a new car on the 'chance' it might save people I'll never know about 100~ years from now...
that was an example, but I sustain that if the government was to enforce certain environmental regulations, such as bio degradable products, no more supermarket bags(certain stores in my country don't manage them anymore, mind you they are successful ones) the overall result of this effort would be greatly improved

I think global warming has gone too far for us to do anything significant about it. But we can halt our emission levels from rising, in order to prevent the situation from getting worse. To eradicate the problem completely would require a lot of high-tech machines and an instant water freezer.

I do agree that the Earth is becoming polluted and needs to be restored to it's former self but an internet petition is an idiotic way of doing it. The idea of petitioning to save the Earth is even worse than petitioning for a G/S remake. Who is this petition directed at? Please learn what a petition is for.

True. It's kinda stupid to petition when the people who made it have no idea who it will be sent to. I remember this kid sent me a petition saying that if we care about the people of Gaza who are suffering, sign it. I deleted it, mainly because I don't have to sign a stupid email to say that I care. It's just a waste of time signing petitions like these when they aren't going to help.

Save Da Urf.

Yeah, I signed the petition. I'm not really too sure what you're hoping to accomplish through all of this, though. I mean...I doubt an online petition will really do all that much =/

An online petition? as if the authorities were actually denying saving the earth?, the are many factors involved here, we have to consider the advantages and disadvantages of going green, personally, I think investing in green technologies is a good investment for the future, but a risky one since we have to mind the current economical situation, as I said before, enforcing some ecological conscience and certain small actions is a good start, but as for larger things... this is a subject of debate all over governments, and such an uninformed petition won't make things better or faster with taking these decisions

I believe that Global Warming is a natural cycle. How else could the Vikings plant and grow grapes in northern Canada? Here's a graph showing past heating and cooling trends: https://www.globalwarminglies.com/pics/temperature history.jpg. The main reason why scientists keep supporting it is because that is where the money is. Why give up millions in research grants just to tell the truth?

Global warming is something natural that happens, but we've only made it a disaster.

At the rate pollution is going, our grand-kids are the ones who'll suffer. We can't really stop global warming, since that's what naturally occurs, but we could at least slow it down. That's what scientists and those recycling bins are for.

But well... I doubt an online petition is going to do anything. I mean, if everyone who signed donated a few spare dollars, and the money went to some research lab, then it'd help, but... yeah. People aren't too willing to part with hard earned dollars.
