Save The Voice Actors! (PC branch)

Thanx^^ I'd really like the voice actors back, they actually sounded like the actual age they were playing and the new episode sucked and was nothing ilke the old pokemon episodes ;;. I was terrifired by Ash's voice, i can't see how I'll be able to sit and listen to that for a half an huor and May's vice was unsettling (as was the rest XP)
 
Well, guys...I got to meet Meowth's VA today!

You heard me right, Maddie and Veronica are on Serebii!

Since it was part of a Q&A session, I asked the following:

1. Do you have any memorable outakes/bloopers? What happened?
2. How do you get "into character" as Meowth?
3. Of all the international Meowths you've heard, which is your favorite?

Well, guys...I had a great time at the Q&A w/ Meowth's VA last night....and my questions were answered!
 
Okay, I still haven't recieved a response yet, but I expect it to be answered by Friday...

Anyways, I'm better be off... I got to type some letters to Pokemon USA.

I totally support this cause. I haven't seriously watched the anime since the Johto series, but I still have a connection to these characters and their voices (at least on this continent) are an integral part of that. Many of them have been doing the voices since the get-go, so they know the characters; they are the characters, to an extent.

I haven't seen the new dub, but from what I've heard, it's better from a technical standpoint (sound and video being largely intact), being out of the hands of 4kids, but the price, in losing our cherished voices, is just too high. I want the original voices back, even if it means a trip back to 4kids.
 
Wow....I wanna join! I was very displeased with the new voice cast, not to mention that I really like the old one. ><;;
Anyhoo, I guess I qualify, since I emailed PKMN USA last weekend after I saw the special.... (As so many others did), and I've signed a petition to save the VAs. ^^
 
Pokemon US best bring back the voice actors and do it NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


This is BAD if they dont bring back the voice actors this just might be the end of pokemon in the US.

What if we threatened P-USA that we'd only watch the Japanese versions of the episodes purposely to make their ratings go down because they wouldn't listen to us?
But the episodes would most likely be raw and we'd need a site like Pokebeach for the Pokemon fans who cant do bittorrent. And what about the dialup fans?
It could work for many people though.
 
I'll join too, of course!! ^^

I am a huge supporter of SOVA, and I will do basically anything in order to get the original Pokemon cast back. :)

There has been lots of talks about boycotting PUSA Products, and it might happen if PUSA continues to not doing what the fans wanted...

My view on the Pokemon.com thing is that they know they've screwed up, and they aren't willing to admit it, so they're covering it up with stupid excuses. Seriously, how could anyone say in absolute truth that they're "proud of" the new VAs? I mean, that's really sad. I plan on writing my eighth letter tonight to call PUSA out on the stupidity of that article. I also got an idea- remember the Day Without Immigrants that the Hispanics had last week? What I was thinking we could do something along those lines, only make it a Week Without Pokemon Fans. For a whole week, we give up buying any Pokemon stuff- no DVDs, no plushies, no figures, no cards, nothing, and send Pokemon USA an email/letter explaining our plans. My first thought was to do this the week the Lucario DVD came out, but then I realized that might be too late- we'd have to do this next week, so we'd have to hit all the forums and LJ communities to spread the word, as well as maybe branching out to MySpace (which I've played around with for a while anyway, since MySpace::LJ as BG::SPP, as far as I'm concerned.) Anyway, there's a neat idea, and it might be a clearer picture of our support than just letters.

As for if our campaign fails (and that's still a big if), we can always look towards Season 10... PUSA may realize their mistake when the ratings on CN suck, and go back. Bloody idiots.

Well, we'll buy it the next week... Remember, Maddie, I'm modeling this off A Day Without Immigrants. A lot of Hispanics voluntarily closed their businesses that day, too. Besides, I've got the date set for next week (5/14-5/21, if we can get the word out fast enough.)
Unless Lucario comes out next week... (is scatterbrained/has finals in two weeks) in that case, we'll make an exception... kinda an act of solidarity, or something.
