Sceptile Moveset!

Blah, if a Modest Houndoom's HP Ice can't KO it (Salamence), when why bother =.=;;. It will D-Dance after into Aerial Ace and OHKO Sceptile.

It's called "make it easy for your quick attacker to finish salamence off next round." =) And actually Houndoom and Sceptile's sp.atk aren't too far apart. HP Ice won't score OHKO, but it'll do a decent minimum of 75% damage.

Of course, you'll have to wait for the game to come out for that. But they finally made Sceptile into the ultimate grass type special sweeper.

Thunderpunch doesn't do a lot for it though that HP ice and Leaf Blade can't. o_o; It gets Gyarados, but for other waters it has Leaf Blade, and for most flying it has HP ice.
Gyarados, off-hand is the only real use for Thunder Punch on it.

What the... Why would you try and take on soemthing you know you can't OHKO? And Salamence + 1 dance will end up backfiring on the next Pokemon that comes out, it will do serious damage or even OHKO it. Salamence is a very broken creature IMO. I let this guy named Chris D-Dance once, then the thing sweeped my whole Sunny Day team...

Thunderpunch can do more damage to Flyers than HP Ice. And it doesn't need stat reduction like HP Ice.
