School: Lock downs & bomb scares

lock down tornadoes and fire drills like 2 of each and i don't like them unless its a lock down then i like it when we get to miss math or la but since im graduating jr high i don't know what to expect next year

We had a really specific bomb threat at one point, and lucky me, I had an orthodontist appointment right before the major lock down where no-one left the class room and cops everywhere.

They were ready to attack me, it's a god thing the assistant principal knew my situation and happened to be there, or I woulda been screwed. And then, when i go to class my teacher was all over me, which resulted in calling the Assistant principal down to talk to my teacher...

Students at my school go waaaay overboard on the bomb threats =/

My school always has bomb threat, a gun threat, or a evacuation because someone came into the school. Sometimes it's one of my friends doing a stupid idea to say that they're going to bring a gun or a bomb to school, but they end up not doing it.

My school in Australia has never had any major threats when I was there except for this one.

A year 9er was angrey because a year 12er had took his skateboard (now remember, this is just what I heard). The Year 9 student smashed an empty classroom window, took a peice of sharp glass and went around trying to find the Year 12er. He didn't find him because, maybe, the Year 12er was a study period or something. The Year 9er kept going to class rooms and storming in until he was stopper by a teacher and, though the teacher got hurt, was disarmed. Now, this was taking place just before lunch and they didn't think to call a lockdown? But then again my schools messed up.

On the second to last week of school, I think, there were two bomb threats in my middle school and the nearby high school.
We had to evacuate to the nearby College and stayed inside its basketball stadium until our parents picked us up.
Took forever :/ and all it destroyed in my school was a small trash can. I forgot what it actually was....

Aside from that my school doesn't really get any bomb threats and lock downs.

Mine, yes. But not for any gun threats or bomb threats. One time someone's parents walked in without checking into the office and they locked down the school. Oh well. However, I live in a bigger city now so I do expect it to happen once or twice. Not for real, just threats and what-not. Oh well. It's sad how American teenagers think this is funny. Yes, American teenagers. The threats just for the fun of it..that mostly happens in the U.S.A. To all those noobs who can't read, I said mostly. That leaves room for other countries. Oh well..

We've had a couple lockdowns

Actually had a guy who robbed the nearby credit union break into the school, change clothes and wander out normally like he was a normal guy only to get tased in teh soccer field.

I hated the drills more than anything.

My band director always blew 'em off we kept right on playing. XD

I dunno. I think Zero Tolerance Policies suck but I don't like schools being shot out either. >>; it's a bad question for me really.

That reminds me, one time the bank down the street from my school was being robbed so they decided to lock down the school since the guy had the ability to go up to it. Just being cautious. Oh well, it made the day interesting.

I've had practice fire drills and lockdowns, but nothing has actually happened that I can remember...
