School Uniform

I went to a public school and I think every school in that school board had a uniform. But it (and every other uniform school I went to) was a Catholic school, which I'm sure is part of the reason.
Your elementary schools were uniform schools?

Highschool was the only time I needed a uniform and I was at a Catholic elementary school

I never had to wear school uniforms. If we actually had, I'd like to wear something similar to the uniforms in Clannad.

My current school uniform is good:

Cyan shirt, Navy Blazer and Grey Trousers basically in the summer, although I do wear a tie in all other terms. There is a lot of optional accessories the girls wear, and girl uniform is much less fussy than boy uniform. Sexist.

My school doesn't have a uniform thankfully. Only Catholic & Private schools have uniforms around here, and I go to a public one. (b'-')b

"Every school student has to wear?" I never had a school uniform requirement in the schools I've been to, but I can tell you 100% honestly that I wish I had. I think most of them are really appealing and give off a very strong impression to people who see you in them. I'd like to at least add one or two things to them, though, and so long as I got to do that, I wouldn't have a problem in the least. Plus, I remember hating waking up in the morning and trying to find something to wear. It would have gotten rid of so much hassle and rushing in the mornings. u___u

I always went to public schools, so uniforms were never necessity. Slightly disappointed by it, because I think school uniforms are cool. 8) That, and my fashion sense was lacking in school. My clothes sucked, to be frank. XD;

I have work uniform to wear, though, but then again, that's just a given with my job. :p Sadly my work uniform is all black so it's really boring.

My school doesn't have a uniform, but I would hate it if they did >:(

I'm surprised at how many people in this thread have even worn school uniforms. Buncha rich private school kids in here, hah.

Orrrr they live somewhere where public school uniforms are required, or they go to private school but aren't rich. :(

I hated parts of my uniform but loved others. The summer one was great - navy stockings, blue/brown plaid skirt, and navy blue polo that was supposed to be tucked in but no one did. The only thing I wish was different for that one is that we had knee-high socks instead of stockings.

My winter one switched out the polo for a button-up white shirt and a navy blue sweater, which suuuuucked. I always wished that instead of a sweater we had a blazer and a tie. So much cuter.

I don't have a school uniform, and am thankful for it. We have a dress code, yes, but without people would probably be walking around naked. I don't exactly agree with uniforms either. They are there to create order and lessen discrimination, but it will always exist, a change of clothes isn't going to stop it.
