    Are they worth it? I had one in FireRed that wrecked, but I heard that they got worse in Dppt.
     
    If by worse, you meant worse for your opponent, than yes. Bullet Punch in Platinum along with the new Technician ability gave Scizor's already high potential even more.
     
    I would say they are still awesome. They still have huge problems against fire types but they are easy to train and will simply grow on to you

    So true and lots of people use them on pokemon battle revolution (including me)
