Whether it's Christmas or snowy-themed games or levels for the holiday season, something bright and cheery like Mario Sunshine for the summer, or some longer JRPGs for the typical summer or winter breaks, are there any games or even things like songs, specific levels in games, or entire genres that you associate with a particular time of year?

    [PokeCommunity.com] Seasonal Gaming

Personally, I have really good memories of bringing Pokemon games to the beach or walks in the park during summer trips, and I love the idea of playing a bigger game like a JRPG or visual novel during the fall as the weather cools down, something about playing a game like Persona or Ace Attorney in September has always felt right. But I'm really making this post because I think this is the third year in a row where I've bought a new Picross game with holiday gift money, and I hadn't even realized it'd become a tradition to have a cute timewaster every time a new year started.

Now that you mention it, I do kind of associate real-time strategy games with late winter, because I've gotten so many of them over the holidays for one year or another, most notably Age of Mythology and Starcraft 2. I tend to think better when it's colder, so I also have more fun playing strategy games in the winter.
