Seeking cards

Dear members,

My apologies if this thread is in an incorrect section of this forum :/

I am a new member to this community and decided to become one to freshen up my knowledge on the Pokémon Trading Card series. I have lost my entire collection a couple of years ago in a fire in my home.. I cared a lot about it at that time and now I would like to start over. Therefore, I would like to start with buying a nice smaller collection, or set or maybe even packs (if the price is decent).

Do you guys have any suggestions or tips (ebay and all that is kinda expensive nowadays) that would be of value in my pursuit to rebuild my collection? Thank you in advance !

I wouldn't rule eBay out completely, there have been many times where I've gotten a good bargain on cards there.

Are you just looking at cards from your past, or are you looking to get into the newer sets, too?

Also, seconding what drr26 said about eBay. You can get great deals on there.

Thanks for the replies guys! Honestly, I do not really care about old or new atm tho! Just a nice bunch with all different types to start off with. I like the collecting part better than the playing part tbh.

Hello friend! I used to love the Pokemon card game, but now, i play it online. i was so sad to hear about the fire. i would like to donate my entire collection to you. i used to own a whole rotation at the time, and a few of the decks are actually with now-playable pokemon i believe i have 6 - 60 card decks in all, with 3 being playable in a tournament atm. I have a deck based on Salamence, Raichu, Regi's, Metagross, and 2 i cant remember. they are at my mother's house. once she sends them to me, i will make a huge list. and yiou can pick the ones you want, because sending pokemon cards is EXPENSIVE and i only make around 20 bucks a week because, you know... im 13. anyway, i know how hard losing anything that has to do with pokemon! when my mom took away my ds for 3 years, i was angry at her for 4 years!
