Self-Destruction Tactics Thread

This is not a team thread (it is moreso a tactics thread).

But rather than Self-Destruct, Explosion, I believe is more preferable as it does more damage, unless anyone can convince me otherwise. Destiny Bond is also a good option. Mememto is an awful suicide move.

Possible Options:
Wheezing
Gengar (DB)
Cloyster
Golem
Electrode

Which one are best and are there any more options?

Possible Stall Options While Reviving:
Blissey / best in terms of hp
Shuckle / best in terms of def

Possible Items:
Full Restore
Max Revive

Do you think a self-destruction team is capable of being competitive against non-legendary teams? If any of you have thoughts, opinions, or ideas, let me know.

The topic of this thread is interesting, but in all honesty, I think this is better fitted in Strategies and Movesets rather than in HG/SS as it seems more relative to competitive play than the new remakes alone. So, just going to move this on over there if that's alright than keeping it here.
