Heard about this on DN. BLS being back and Judgment Dragon at 3 is freaking crazy. Heavy is back, MST is back, so basically this is a field-clearing Banlist.

Call of the Haunted is BS, but hey MST and Heavy are back. Spirit Reaper will be freaking annoying though.

Megamorph is also crazy. Icarus is pure BS.

I'll say one thing though. Goodbye Shi En lock.

    This is crazy.

This is an interesting ban list.
I didn't see Giant Trunade being banned, but Heavy back? So like インフェルノの津波 said, it is a feel clearing list.

Banning Trunade and bringing back Heavy Storm is actually one of the few things Konami did RIGHT. Giant Trunade is far worse than Heavy Storm. Do you want to know why? Because it takes NO skill whatsoever to play Giant Trunade. There is zero risk involved with using Trunade.

    omg Lonefire #whatisthis #mylifehurts

This banlist, well, I have no real quarrels with, althrough there are a few nuisances that have tickled me. For instance, I don't like Lonefire at one, this means its harder for those JDTP decks to get Shooting Star first turn, however with 2 CotH it makes it do-able still. Debris is fine with me actually, I don't use it that much, though it is a great card, it is understandable. JD at three. That is total crap. That is BY FAR the worst thing on this banlist imo. I mean, Lightsworns are still doing better than DAD decks, and with now THREE JD its become very absurd. Giant Trunade is FINE. I hate it, for gods sake its caused me so many losses is unbelievable. Heavy Storm back, Starlight Road becomes more usable, and will stop people going "Set 5 end." It brings back old memories of Starlight Road combos too xD Formula Synchron, well, that's annoying, but not overly bad. T.G. Hyper Librarian, I think that is a bit bad, but it WAS broken. Besides, there are other decent level fives out there, e.g. Ally of Justice Catastor. Other than that, nah this is fine. It will be fun to play I think, and could have its share of annoyances too, making this a decent banlist, not good, but decent.

    Really interesting banlist.

... I am pleased, actually. Original decks will abound, and Lightsworns are a bit better now.

It's Tengu Plants, man. I guess they also thought it was a broken card?

I knowwww but Lonefire was so innocent... And now they've ruined it!

The Fishborg Blaster ban was kind of surprising, but I guess I don't have to worry about that type of OTK anymore. I really wasn't expecting Black Luster Soldier: Envoy of the Beginning to get off of the Forbidden list, but at least it's not as broken as Chaos Emperor Dragon: Envoy of the End. Giant Trunade, well that didn't surprise me, it can be used in some nasty ways. I like, though, how I can use Heavy Storm in my deck again. I do agree that Plants got hit hard with the Lonefire Blossom limit.

Although plants got hit they will remain tier 1 due to their endless combos, bls was a stupid move konami it's broken but I saw it coming once it was re printed in gld4 but alas plants can use this so it's no bigee to me, although this will probably mean Europe will finally lose the priority ruling at last ;)

I actually do not mind this banlist. More field control pretty much and a lot easier for starlight road to run rampant once again. My gfs twilight deck is actually competitive now with BLS back at 1.

Giant trunade being banned :OOO but i definitely agree its way OP than HS. I can't wait to set three MST on first turn and finally no more full back rows! i was seriously getting annoyed with that. Royal oppression gets hit, i think it was to let xyz have a try in this new metagame, no ****. it'll be back, for sure, but for now i guess i have to try and pack a steelswarm roach for negation. OMG FISHBORG thank GOD that was banned!

I agree with hyper librarian being at 1, you don't need more than that. formula at 1 is boo, semi limited would have been fine but meh.

I don't mind this list either. The big play that your deck must be able to deal with is the turn one Tour Guide. On the competitive scene you bet most decks will be running them and it will be a common first turn play that you will have to play against.
