Yeah though the thing is that that rumor was tied with the other rumors of the new pokemon which we got in Corocoro weren't they :(?

As MRAS stated, there will not be any new pre-evolutions or new evolutions in this generation, so Mamanbou isn't anything to Luvdisc. Although they are similar, Luvdisc is not a pre-evolution to it. :(

On another note, the same thing would apply to Buffalon. While it shares similarities to Tauros as some think, it's still not an evolution to it based on what was said earlier. Still, I don't see much of a relation between the two anyway. I do like its design though and I just see it as another Pokémon that is taking the place of a first generation Pokémon.
 
Soooo is there a chance of FINALLY getting a Jynx evo?

Maybe they were, but remember, IT IS A RUMOR. Being a rumor that was posted at the same site and in the same post doesn't mean that it is true.

Well they usually put rumors and warn you that they are rumors but this time they didn't >_<

It still is a rumor cuz it isn't oficially revealed, like the silhouttes that Pokéxperto posted.(yes they did turn out to be real but until the last leak of CoroCoro it still was a rumor)
 
I was wondering, could Pokemon #645 be the thrid counterpart of Reshiram and Zekrom, like how Rayquaza is for Kyogre and Groudon and how Giratina is for Dialga and Palkia?

It's a Ground/Flying type, and both Fire (Reshiram) and Electric (Zekrom) are weak against Ground Attacks.

Plus, isn't anyone wondering how awesome the Dragon/Ice legendary is going to look?
 
This really shouldn't be the place to discuss rumors...

Besides, it wouldn't really make sense to me if there were evolutions of other Pokemon, since this is in a separated region.

To get back on topic-ish, I'm kind of disappointed that Pokemon Sunday didn't reveal anything "new", but it definitely backed up the CoroCoro leak.

Yeah but they put they said that that information and that with the pokemon which were eventually revealed came from the same source, so maybe the no evolutions is true after all...
I wonder how Victini get's that move...move re-learner...

I hope not; no offense to Jynx lovers because she's got a cool typing and some wicked moves, but the thing looks dreadful. An evolution would only make it uglier, just look at how Electivire and Magmortar turned out. Fuglitude taken to a whole new level, imo. Mind you, if Jynx evolved, she'd be a lot more useful, that's for sure; in fact she might even become OU. Unfortunately there are no evolutions of previous Pokemon in this generation. *sigh* :C

Its an awesome green ice cobra with feathery wings colored in different color :)

There's something I don't understand. Everybody was upset and raging when previous Pokemon got evolutions in the 4th generation.. now you guys are wanting evolutions of previous Pokemon? Maybe I sound a little closed minded, but that's just odd to me.

I'm kinda happy about there being no evolutions of past Pokemon. Finally! All brand new Pokemon! <3

Also I think Yanappu and its evolution won't be THAT bad... hopefully. D:
But the pure typing thing is kinda boring, I must admit. It'd be nice if they added a secondary typing to them... like fighting. But then we'd have 2 firefighters in Isshu. X_X

I really doubt they would put an evolution to Tauros, or Jynx just somewhere roaming in the wild.

Last gen they didn't do that for the new evo's Magmortar and Electivire, did they?

Whoever wasn't happy with Gen IV will probably be happy with Gen V since it won't have any evolutions older Pokemon, especially taking into consideration what you said about some people complaining about Gen IV having evos of older Pokemon and how those evolutions supposedly "ruined" said Pokemon.

i completely agree with this, i loved gen4 (except for the lack of fire types, we all know im a fire type trainer :P) & i love gen5 (except for the odd looking beginners, but ill come ot love them over time i guess :P)
