Well I didn't and I actually loved the evolutions we got in gen 4 and wish we had some this gen of gen 3 pokemon :(

In DP, they had Elekid's and Magby's in the wild.
And to top it off, they were version exclusives.

What part of NO OLD POKEMON TILL THE END OF THE GAME don't you understand..?
There's no way to evolve something you CAN'T CATCH, like the PRE-EVOLVE FORM.

in Diamond and Pearl Magby and Elekid weren't available until the National Dex. And you needed Fire Red/Leaf Green to make them appear so they weren't available in the games through normal means.

Really they just seem to be randomly taking a few previous ones that were OK to underused (possibly) and made Gen V versions to them. It was confirmed that there are absolutely no Pre Gen V Pokemon and the Gen V Pokedex has 156. The total amount of Pokemon that was being made. So yes there is a very high chance no new Evos.

Once again the Gen V Pokedex was confirmed to have 156 places in it. It was on one of the updates that released info on the legends. It was confirmed that there were 156 new Pokemon being made for Pokemon Black and White. It seems pretty plain to me that there will be no Evolutions or Pre evolutions in this Gen.

I think the important thing is that it's a brand new start, and the way to catch old Pokemon doesn't matter because they'll all be there in the dream world so...

I meant that Riolu is the Togepi of Gen 4. Togepi was the first baby Pokemon to be released with its evolution in the same Generation. Riolu was the second Baby Pokemon released with its evolutions in the same Generation. I personally believe Zorua is a Baby Pokemon and see it as the same as Togepi and Riolu. Like I said it was a personal Opinion. Until Zoura is confirmed to not be a Baby Pokemon, I will see it as a Baby.

Yeeeah go discuss Zorua in the Zorua/Zoroark thread... on page 2 iirc. Since it doesn't really fit in with the scans/Pokemon Sunday.

I found out how to get the Pokemon needed for the Zorua and Zoroark Events.

Updated in the last CoroCoro, they gave info on another Transfer method other than the Pokeshifter. This transfer method ONLY ALLOWS you to bring over the Shiny Beast and Celebi from D/P/Pt/HG/SS.

So you CAN get Zorua and Zoroark before the National Dex.

Above is what I found on Serebii, This sorta goes here since it's a new update and has more to say on it. According to the Link in there, the Shiny Beasts and Celebi are the ONLY Pre Gen V Pokemon that can be transfered BEFORE the National Dex.

It says in that link others must be transfered through the Pokeshifter which is open after you beat the main game. So other than the Event Legendaries, there is no way to get Pre Gen V Pokemon onto Black and White.

Sorry if I opened up an old Wound, this was something I just found and was in the September CoroCoro leak. Since people wanted solid proof from major source, I thought I should post this.

You know Aloe will have the Afro pokemon because an Afro is generally an african american hair style.

I think Aloe will have Mebukijika and Buffalon for a certain reasons:
- Both are Normal Type
- The Winter form of Mebukijika resembles Disco and Afros are disco hair styles
- Mebukijika is a Normal/Grass type. Aloe looks like she is a grass leader.
- Afros are most often worn by African Americans

It would make a lot of sense.

Lol so true! I'm surprised if they didn't have at least one mention of Afro in it. Like maybe in the pokedex.
