Seriously, what is wrong with nintendo!

I'm very well aware that Sony does indeed have good games, but what just gets my blood boiling is when ignorant fanboy topics like this pop-up and there's someone saying that Nintendo is worse than Sony -__-

Also, the "swear" in question was an alternative to "crappy" though I guess it's still a "swear".

IMO, topics like this shouldn't even make it to the "Make a Topic" page...

There is nothing wrong with Nintendo. At all. It's the most successful video game corporation out there >_> I don't see how not "improving graphics" or "letting us watch movies or listen to music" make them "wrong" in any sense when compared to Sony. Nintendo is focused on what a video game corporation should be focused on: game play and games. They have never failed to impress. Simple as that.
The DSi allows you to play music.

The 3DS is clearly superior to the PSP or whatever the hell the latest system is, and no, I'm not saying that from a bias perspective, I'm saying that because it's the truth. Nintendo is always the first to break through to new levels of game play, with Sony always being behind to copy them. Wii has motion control, oh look, now so does Sony! And what's better, we have multi-coloured balls on our controllers!
It's about the experience, not the gimmick. It's stupid to say that Nintendo is a good company because they innovate(which they really don't, a lot of their "innovations" have been done before). And no, it's still subjective, in case you didn't notice. Your reason of why it's better also fails because 3D isn't a new level of gameplay. A new level of gameplay is an analog stick, like on the Vectrex, or a D-Pad on the Intellivision. It is NOT a projection like glasses-less 3D.

And to be completely fair, the software can only be as good as the hardware allows it to be. The Blu-ray that you think doesn't matter can actually hold a lot more information than the Wii Optical disc. I dare you to show me a game like LittleBigPlanet or Killzone 3(41.5 GB) being played on a Wii.

The ability to play your own music one the system at the same time you play a game was one of the nicest new features added with this generation of home consoles - something that Nintendo have confirmed is possible with developing 3DS games.

They're also allowing you to suspend gameplay to instantly bring up the web browser, an additional feature to the system that I can't see anyone bringing up a valid reason against.

Because Sony totally didn't recycle the motion-sensor idea, right? >_> Please, tell me what console introduced and actually made motion-sensor technology a part of the gaming experience prior to the Wii.

Also, please, explain to me how 3D play isn't a new level of gaming? Have you seen how it's going to be used? Have you experienced it yourself? A new level of gaming doesn't require a four-point direction pad or a motion sensor, thank you.

The Atari 2600 had Le Stick. It was a motion controller that worked because it had a mercury core.

Like I said though, the experience is what matters. What good is an innovation if it works horribly? The Wiimote gets really inaccurate at times, but the Playstation Move has the accuracy of the Wiimote with WMP out of the box. You're not the brightest tool in the shed if you're going to say that the Wii is better just because it did motion control "first".

Okay then. Tell me how 3D will directly effect gameplay. Go on. And no, TEH IMAGES DO POPZ OUT doesn't count.

In fact, the technology for glasses-less 3D was around for a while, as far as I know. The only problem was that it worked only at a certain angle, so selling them as home televisions wouldn't work at all.

Do remember that 3DS games still need to be developed to accomodate the situation that players either turn the 3D slider to off or cannot see 3D images altogether.

Ya know, I'm going to just bow out of this. Obviously, there is no getting through to another person when their opinion is so dense.

Good day.

Oh, and just for argument's sake: As you said, "it's the experience". What better experience than 3D to make you feel like your actually in the game?

Also, Wii has come out with upgrades to make the WiiMotes more accurate (WiiMote+). Also, you don't look like a fairy waving around a WiiMote as compared to this:

Yeah...calling it the "Wand" doesn't help either...oh, and it kinda looks like a sex toy so there's that thought for ya.
