Seviper or Zangoose

As much as I like Seviper, I don't think his design is original enough. We've had plenty of Snake Pokemon, and I think we all remember that infamous slip-up with Arbok and Seviper in the anime... not that hard when you think about it.

Zangoose, however, just looks really cool and original. There hasn't been a Mongoose Pokemon before him, and he is aesthetically awesome. Plus, as has been said, Zangoose has better attack and speed, which are what I tend to go for in favourites - like Sneasel, and I believe several flying types, which are also my favourites.

And, finally, I believe that, games-wise, Zangoose doesn't get much attention. I loved him in R/S/E but haven't had one since, and I really want to get one now. :D This thread has reignited my love for Zangoose, the best-looking Pokemon ever (apart from Ursaring).

I have always though Zangoose looked like a really fat, ugly Pikachu. Plus, Seviper always intrigued me especially since I encountered it on my second tackle on Hoenn with Sapphire.

I like them both actually. I mean they both look good both in normal and in shiny form and I would perfer them if you were only using one evolution pokemon. *nods*

Seviper. I like snakes and dragons. Seviper is a bit of both. Works well against Team Aqua with the way I play.

I do like Zangoose still. And Arbok is my fave snake.

well I never really caught a zangoose, actually I was quite afraid of it when I first saw it. So seviper it is, just because I love it when it uses poision tail.

and it's a beautiful pokemon. I do like them both, (and I beat the Elite Four with just a lvl 75 Zangoose w/ flamethrower XD), but i would have to choose Seviper. I'm drawn to its dark, morbid appeal.
