5th Gen Shark Pokemon?

Also I don't think they the gen 5 pokemon are ugly at all so I want a Hammer head, ignore Volroc, I'm the one whose predictions came true ;)

Well they might not be 100 % on the spot but they are very close :)

last time i checked Sharks has soft skin unless rubbed against it wrong, so steel isnt even a plausible typing for a shark.
youd have a better chance getting a normal/water shark based on the bull shark before a steel shark

I had to cut open a shark for class and let me tell you, their skin is definitely NOT soft. It's dense and annoying as hell... Much harder to cut through than pigs or any mammal for that matter, even with a scalpel. It's almost exactly like sandpaper, only you can't rip it. Sure the membrane is thin, but that stuff just won't come off... Even if you peel it.

edit I will say that their skin is rather smooth if you stroke from head to tail, but it's bristly and your fingers get stuck and it hurts if you go the other way.

And don't get me started on how they smelled.

Well first off, who said we couldn't have references in Pokemon? Sharks with lazers is a well known internet meme at this point, not just an homage to Austin Powers. In addition, I had no idea what you were talking about for a second there with the Fakemon. Good call, though :)

As for Water / Dark and Water / Ghost, that's just playing on the typical aspect of sharks as terrible or ferocious (and Sharpedo already has that typing anyway!), while Steel type sharks? That's OUTRAGEOUS! Fire-type sharks even... with their bodies made of partially hardened magma, swimming in volcanoes :s

And finally, that statpool you gave is basically Sharpedo beefed up far beyond its limits, with Speed that allows it to sweep with either element of attack and moderate defenses and HP that allow it to take more hits than it should, given the extremely powerful offensive capabilities. fml

sharks are ferocious, but their also kind, elegant, graceful, & fontastic :D

ghost shark was in my head simple cuz some sharks disappear into the shadows when they and i could see a shark pokemon with shadow sneak&aqua jet lol

thats the idea :D sharks should be fast,strong in both offenses, but have low health (since if a shark ever stops swimmin they die) and their defenses should be mediocre dependin on its type lol

to be honest,i think i just dont want the steel type,cuz its too resistant already,if they evened it out a lil more& steel wasnt so over powered, then id probably wouldnt mind :D

As long as there's water rushing headfirst into its gills, then it will be fine (swimming is mainly to filter water through the gills). If a shark anchors itself somehow within a strong-ish current, it can survive just because of the water moving around them.

cuz sharpedos defenses are WAY too low, which saddens me cuz its my fav water type :(

that is true,but few sharks do that,unless they stop are at a reef for a "shower" lol

all sharks so far are physical -_-

we have TOO many physical pokemon ever since the physical special split :(

Not really, we do have our share of powerful special Pokemon also. As far as I know, there isn't anything that we currently lack as far as physical/special goes, unless I'm missing something.

Heck, some Pokemon can even be mixed.

true some can be mixed, but most dragons are physical heavy :(

i want a nicely balanced shark, thats half ghost


or a cookiecutter shark thats water/steel <--- now that would be evil
