Well, I don't really use the Mins in battle so I wouldn't compare them in terms of in-battle.

Skymin=Cool and awesome and fast

But cute and cuddly things win me over, so I actually prefer Shaymin, though I seem to mostly stand alone on this. Not that Skymin's any less awesome, but...
 
Well, I like Skymin more. :3 I've always preferred speed and agility over, well ... everything else. xD

I want to get Platinum when it comes out. So I wonder if I'll be able to get a Shaymin!
 
But Shaymin is an event Pokémon, right? Bleaugh. But luckily, I just read it will be a WiFi event, so... that means everyone who has WiFi can get it, right? Awesome. c:
 
I won't cheat for any pokemon anymore (I cloned pokemon in 2nd gen), so when the event becomes available I'm endeavouring to not miss it. Skymin can join the ranks of legendaries such as Suicune, Latias and Mew as the only legendaries I'll actually use.
 
I'm happy that they've stopped restriction events to the people in the near by area and now are available to all via Wi-Fi. Maybe Shaymin will be my first event Pokemon.
 
I've been to an 'event' already. The Australian JB Hi-Fi Manaphy event. I just walked in with my brother, got it, then walked out.

IT WAS A TOTALLY LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE.

I remember the Celebi one ages ago for G/S/C, but I didn't have my cartridge on me when we were there, so I missed it.

Wow, these new events will be so boring.

Yeah, I hated that, I couldn't find ANY place that has the event. It was soooo nerve racking! But, now that we have Wi-Fi, I can just go to a HotSpot.

I'd love to get a Shaymin through WiFi, since I was never a fan of cheating in the first place

Skymin is better than Shaymin because.... well, she's cute. I haven't played my Pearl yet because of DS problems...
