She Sells Seashells

I think I'm okay at tongue twisters. If I'm being stipulated to read them at a fast speed, I'll definitely make a few mistakes.

One of my favourite tongue twisters is the poem "The Chaos!" by Gerard Nolst Trenité. I felt so accomplished when I managed to pronounce every word correctly the first time.

Then there's this Chinese tongue twister that I know as well. Problem is, they all sound quite similar, only difference is the intonations (people who have learned Chinese will know what I mean) that it is so hard to go through it without failing. Maybe I'll grab the text in the form of a picture someday.

You mean The Lion-Eating Poet in the Stone Den. That one amuses me. I used to ask my students about that while teaching them tounge-twisters in English.

I'm okay with tongue twisters in most languages, yet in German...
Well, here they're called 'Zungenbrecher' what literally translates to 'tongue breaker'...

Der froschforschende Froschforscher forscht in der froschforschenden Froschforschung.
Der Whiskymixer mixt den Whisky mit dem Whiskymixer. Mit dem Whiskymixer mixt der Whiskymixer den Whisky.
Klitze kleine Katzen kotzen klitze kleine Kotze. Klitze kleine Kotze kotzen klitze kleine Katzen.
Russische Russen rutschen russische Rutschen russisch runter.

Et cetera, translating them would take away the sense from them, but eh, I'd guess you can see why they are breakers rather than just twisters over here. :P

I can remember too many of them, they kinda frustrate me sometimes, but the one my mum used to tell me:

I'm not a pheasant plucker I'm a pheasant plucker's son,
I'm only plucking pheasants till the pheasant plucker comes.

I can remember when I was younger I used to get so confused and end up saying about what a pleasant so-and-so I was :P

And don't forget the continuous saying of "red Lorry, Yellow Lorry" fast :)

I'm terrible at tongue twisters, not ashamed to admit it. For some reason, I often mispronounce names and such and my friends already make fun of me enough for that, I certainly don't need tongue twisters to add on to the list. Even had trouble saying the Weather example posted earlier. :[
