    How many tries does it take to get a Shiney Charmander. I have been looking on other Threads that are like this one, but for some reason they didnt make any sense to me other than it takes a lot of patience.
     
    And also, ive never caught a Shiney, nor even seen one. Is the only way to tell them apart by what color they are, or will the have "Shiney(Insert Pkmn name here)"
     
    It takes approximately 8195 tries to get a shiny (any pokemon). There are three ways to tell shinies apart from normal pokemon.

    1: The color
    2: When you battle it, stars will fly around it at the start of the battle
    3: When you battle it, a noise sounds

    One please don't double post and there is a low chance of it.That is to all shineys and read the FAQ.

    I didn't even know u could get a Shiny for the beginining until I read a topic 2 weeks ago.
