Shining Meganium’s Shoddy Battle UU Tournament

    The Format


    • The tournament is available for anybody with shoddy battle account to enter. Depending on popularity there will be between 8 and 16 competitors.

    • The tournament format will use a group system with 4 in each group to make the tournament last longer and give players who start badly a chance to improve throughout.

    • If for example 12 enter there will be 6 in 2 groups with 2 from each group going through to the knockout stages and if 16 enter there will be 4 in each group, 2 going through to the knockout stage.

    • In the group stage a player will receive 1 point for winning and none for losing and shall play 1 game against each competitor in their group.

    • If there is a tie for a position they will play off for the position.

    • Groups will be decided via random name generator.


    Match Rules


    • The following clauses must be on: Evasion, Freeze, OHKO, Sleep, Soul dew, Species and Timed battle.

    • If a player's timer runs out they have lost.

    • If a draw occurs via explosion or destiny bond the user of that move loses.

    • If a win can't be proven you must play again so I recommend either PM'ing me the log or having a witness/opponent also confirm.

    • Only Pokémon recognised by Smogon University to be in the UU tier or lower are allowed for usage in this tournament.

    • Battles should either take place on Pokécommunity or Smogon University but any server is acceptable.

    • The deadline for matches is 10 days from the start date; you will be notified by me.

    • If you don't play your opponent I will give the win to the most active.

    If you guys don't have accounts in the PC server, why don't you just make one and help our our activity a bit? PC tournaments should take place on our server anyway :(
     
    PC server's better than Smogon server anyway since there's much less people, there's no lagging at all plus no connection lost too so I like to play in PC server over Smogon server(cuz of lagging and bunch of connection losts)
