3rd Gen shiny charmander

i've been searching for my Shiny Gastly for a few weeks now. i've easily seen atleast three thousand Gastly's come up un-shiny. i have sixty thousand plus more times to go =/

it's all about LUCK! ;D
 
You have my support all the way! Good luck on your shiney gastly hunting. P.M. -- If you get SWEET SCENT it will increase your encounter rate, thus throwing your shiney possibility higher. Hope you get one! (Wishes she could get a cute pokemon, but that's probably imposs.-

DarkCharizard, that's not true. The gender is determined randomly each time you pick up the Pokeball. You can get females on either version, but the males are more common.
 
Erm..I'm pretty sure he wans't saying it was true. He just left out the second tag for closing a quote in his post...

DarkCharizard, if you want a female, go poach a Ditto and stick it in the Daycare on Four Island with your...whatever you have. You never mentioned what "mine" is. Keep hatching the eggs until you get a female one.
 
Maybe breed it again and again until it become female lol
the ones u dont want throw it onto the box or release it....
 
That's what I just said in my above post. O__O

You could sell the unwanted ones to your friends or give them away. I give some to my sister and sell some to friends. I can only spare 3 boxes (90 eggs total) for eggs/hatched Pokemon so I have to get rid of old ones eventaully.

Read the Sevii Islands Guide on my site in the FRLG section. *points to siggy* Should answer your question when it mentions Seven Island. Just press CRTL+F on that page and search for Unown.

haha I breed my female charizard for a egg and when i hatched it it is a girl charmander.. Now i saved one step before the egg hatches and hopes its a shiny.. and it will be a shiny female charmander, how lucky. females rock :P
 
True, but it's not often you get a shiny starter, let alone a female one. I've NEVER gotten a shiny starter in all my years of playing Pokemon.
 
I haven't either. They only shiny I ever had was a Gyrados in Pokemon Silver. But that's about it.
 
I think that Charizard looks better in black.It just goes better with his personality.
 
I think I like Charizard better red, since he is a fire Pokemon. i don't like shinies at all.
 
Yeah. A black Charizard makes him look like he turned himself into a crispy lizard :lol. The only shinies I've had are the Red Gyarados from G/S/C and a Shiny Shuppet from R/S/E. Can't remember what Shuppet looked like though.
 
Well,thats true.I only like a few shinies,they have to really catch my eye though XD,like Raquaza he definately looks much better black.
 
Shinies are only cool if you really like the pokemon and want to have every type of way you can have that pokemon.
