4th Gen SHINY POKE CHEATIN??

well...that makes no sense to me cause if "It means they specifically look for shiny Pokemon in areas where Pokemon can be found." wouldn't that be in grass, water,cave. or anyplace else you find a pokemon. and that is how people find REGULAR pokemon to?..i am confused O__O

Well then I gues you're not as smart as you seem to want to carry yourself as. You do go in the grass to "shiny hunt", and you use the Pokeradar and chaining to eventually get yourself one.

Yes, but like say for grass fields, they can use methods such as chaining with Pokeradar to increase the chances of a shiny.

The chances of a shiny being found, although 1/8192 can actually produce quite a lot of shinys in total, throughout the whole world since you're looking at that. There are methods of making shinys easier to find, (i.e. chaining) and some people do play just to look for shinys you know. You can't just go around saying everything is hacked just because the chances are so slim, people do get shinys and that's just how it is.

I agree. If you alter the game's code to obtain a shiny pokemon you are in fact cheating. It cheapens the value of a shiny pokemon when cheaters try to trade them. Nobody wants a hacked pokemon. They are worthless and unusable on PBR for the Wii. What if someone wants to use their poke on PBR after you trade it to them and it gets Bad egg'd? You'd be responsible because only HACKED pokemon turn into a bad egg when they come into contact with this game.

I'll tell you once again.

You will never convice the members or the staff of this community otherwise. It has alredy been decided. That is the communities official stance.
 
i used the pokeradar all the time and no shiny but i did manage to get the pokerus sometime around 300 hrs of game play does that stand for anything...

I've played in total, over 1000+ hours and have never seen a shiny before. And red Gyarados doesn't count.

Then push the report button instead of SPAMming. SPAMming is out of hand.



Regarding not catching a shiny in 500+ hours, that just means you need to keep trying. If you never catch one, then so be it, you trade for some. That's what I did, and I'm up to 3 boxes full now.

You have to CHAIN! AKA encounter the same pokemon over and over again.
 
there is like no way to do that!!...well obviously there is BUT, there are so many pokemon that appear in one place..

Exactly, it's all about patience and execution. You just need to know what you're doing when you chain, and hope for a little good luck too.

i know i can see what they are saying about them being hacked... but what i don't get is all they are is dif. colors. i don't see why people can't think of them as legit when they are the same pokemon just shiny

That just means you need to keep trying. I know where you're talking about, near Stark Mountain, and it's pretty hard to chain there considering how small the grass patches are. Just keep trying, you'll get it eventually.
 
exactly i just wouldnt trade one to anyone because there arent "legit" in PBR so they say ive never tried using one on there

It's because you aren't chaining right. A guide on chaining can be found here. Read the guide and practice with the PokeRadar and you should eventually come across a shiny. I've gotten four boxes full of shiny Pokémon and most of them came from chaining.
