SHINY SHINY SHINY

Counting legit pokemon cartridges and no red gyarados, I've only ever had 2 shinies

Shiny Hariyama - Sapphire (lost game cartridge)
Shiny Wingull - Platinum (Still have, caught less than two weeks ago)

What I've seen but failed to catch...

Shiny Sandshrew - Gold (Had no pokeballs on me at the time)
Shiny Kadabra - Pearl (Accidentally knocked it out with a critical hit)

Shinies I've caught not on cartridges, but emulated games

Shiny Rattata - Gold
Shiny Drowzee - Gold
(Both were within 30 minutes of each other)
 
Sadly I've never see a shiny. :(
 
Caught my first shiny back in gold. Like many others it was a Drowzee. I had no idea what it was but I caught it to show off to friends.

In a borrowed version of Emerald I caught a shiny Trapinch.

And in Pearl I've caught two shiny Floatzels, one unitentionally caught chaining (8th pokemon) while EV training and one in Victory Road. So 4. =D Maybe 3 if you don't count the one Floatzel...
 
Well my non-hacked shinies are these:
R/B/Y - Shiny Poliwag
G/S/C - Shiny Swinub - Shiny Gyarados (Obviously)
R/S/E - None.
D/P/Pt - Shiny Buneary - Shiny Clefairy.
 
I've actually never caught a shiny in any Pokemon game before. I've seen two but I couldn't catch them due to the circumstances at that time. It's a shame, but I know there's one around the corner.

Pokémon Emerald: After defeating the Elite Four for literally the 12th time, I got bored and decided to go to the patch of grass left of Lilycove City. And, to my heart-stopping; half-seizure amazement, I find a shiny Mightyena. I loved that thing so very much, but then I transferred it to Pearl (this was back in 2007-2008 btw [i forget which]) and decided to restart Pearl, realizing after my file was deleted that my first legit shiny Pokémon was gone forever. I was sad... ;__;
 
Diamond:Machoke.I had no pokeballs, and didn't waste my masterball as my Mesprit was shiny.
Platinum:Pichu (Mystery Gift)
 
None. My friend is still grieving about a shiny Lairon she found in Emerald's Victory Road which used Roar.
 
I've only owned two shiny pokemon by myself.

On Emerald one day, I was working through Victory Road because I was too lazy to go to the poke-center and get out something to Fly me there (makes no sense, I know). Near the end of the cave my Super Repel fades out and I decide "Meh, I don't care..." Moments later. Golbat. Green. Level 43. MINE. He was Nefura first, but I switched it to the much more apt Nosferatu before transferring to Platinum. He is now a level 70 pink Crobat. I trained him up just so I could use him to chase down the roaming legendaries. Because I mean, really. What is freaking cooler than hunting down Entei with a SHINY Crobat? It's amazing is what it is.

The other is illegitimate on this thread. I was trying out chaining for the first time. Ninth Snubbull was purple. Menos. Untouched in a box.
 
Leaf Green: Shiny Muk. Captured, later traded it away.
Emerald: Poochyena. Ran out of Pokeballs.
Pearl: Buneary. Captured, still have it.
Pearl: Ponyta: Captured, traded it to a friend.
Platinum: Seviper, on a team in the Battle Arcade. Obviously couldn't catch that one.
 
:( Not many. The only shiny I've ever seen on my game is Tentacool on my emerald. Actually I saw quite a lot of shiny tentacool on my emerald. They were greenish
 
Gold: poliwag,nidoran female, machop(I think)
Ruby: Hariyama

5 years later
Ruby destiny: munchlax,if hack games counts

I have no longer any shiny other than munchlax

why did I reseted my ruby and gold? T_T

A gold Geodude at MT.Coronet.

I traded it for a mew since I dislike geodude.
 
Red Gyarados aside, I have only ever seen a shiny Cubone in Crystal which I didn't manage to capture.

It loses its credibility since you exploited reloading...
 
I've gotten a wide variety of shinys.
[Eevee, Charizard, Dragonite, Groudon, Electrike, Bidoof, Nidoking, Dodrio, Salamence, Gyarados and a couple of more.]
