Why do you need codes though? o_o;; If you were really a skilled (patient) trainer, you'd soft reset (Select, Start, A, B) until you got your shiney. o_<
nah i dont have an shiny pokemon starters though but i was training my golem at power plant, i saw an shiny magnemite loh i threw great ball but still cant catch huh
unless you really really really want a shiny, i would say don't even bother. it's already taking me weeks to get a shiny Gastly. it will probably take you even longer because you have to reset and try again over and over.
Yes...people seem to ask about shinys all the time. And each time it's usually the same question. In anycase, I just hatched a shiny Cubone. 68 eggs hatched and only 1 is shiny...12 eggs left unhatched...hmmm...
Are you people sure that there is no stat difference? Here's where I think a GameShark could actually be useful... someone should use their 'shark for an experiment.
I propose someone with a Game Shark or Action Replay test this out. Here's my advice...
Make it so that every Pokemon you encounter is the same Pokemon, I dunno.. Ditto for example. And also make is so that they are all shiny. Now that you're only encountering Shiny Ditto's everywhere you go, go catch a bunch of Shiny Ditto of the same level (at least 10 or so) and then catch a bunch of non Shiny Ditto of the same level (also at least 10). Then compare and contrast. Check to see what the IV's are of each Ditto and then see if there's a trend or something.
I distinctly remember back in GSC that Shiny Pokemon seemed to have higher offence stats and lower defence than the non shiny versions of themselves. I used a gameshark test it.. but my Game Shark was eaten by a dog a long time ago and I haven't bought one since.
In GSC, Shiny pokemon did have higher offensive and lower defensive stats. In R/S and FR/LG, there is no such modification, shiny Pokemon have the same stats as normal Pokemon
Yes, and catching a large amount of random shiny Pokemon won't help you prove there is a stat difference. You have to take in IVs (which is hard to figure out unless the Pokemon is at a high leve) and their personalities, both of which affect stats and are both also random. RANDOM I SAY.
hatched a shiny cubone? i found one training my evs for special attack for mewtwo. that was in the lavender tower.. got it in like 30 mins... now im trying to get a shiny charmander by hatching it. time 4hours 300+ hatches no shiny but i will never give up!!!!
