Ugh... Post has been dead since September, then THIS all starts all over again...
Still, I know that it's far from coming true. Oh well. Hope I don't have to wait too long.
That, and the current anime is far more linked to the games than the manga...
Oh, and be wary, Supreme Edgeboy Max. Be careful what evidence you put in. Unfortunately, there hasn't been much evidence obvious recently (Hoenn Region), but there is, in fact, evidence that Pok?shipping still lives in 4Kids.
What are you talking about in Hoenn? There's at least a handful if you look carefully enough! The somewhat obvious one would be the short visit by Misty in the two-part Mirage Kingdom episodes. If you didn't notice already, since leaving Misty behind in Kanto, Ash has been quite moody since then. (Just look how he talks smack to James back at Granite Cave...) During the episodes, Ash tries to show how tough he is telling Misty, May, and Max to make a run for it. That and him trying to break the barrier between the Togepi Garden and Mirage Kingdom. He was the only one helping Misty there. To some, like me, that's a little evidence of Pok?mon, and much to my suprise, Ash is actually making the moves this time whether he knows it or not...cold_katanagirl said:There haven't been any shipping hints in Hoenn OR the new Kanto series (if anything, the new Kanto series had more Orangeshipping and I forgot what Misty x Max is called hints).
Well, that wasn't strong evidence, but the episode after that involving Romeo and Juliet, did show stronger evidence. (technically the episode was supposed to be BEFORE the Mirage Kingdom. I guess 4Kids did it for the reason I'm thinking) Notice that May remarks that even old friends can become lovers near the end. If that doesn't scream "OMG, Pok?shipping lives!!!!!", then you truly are in denial... (hey, this is what I think, so sue me!)cold_katanagirl said:Then back up what you say.

I agree about the fan thing, but a manga-based show? If you're refering to the Pok?mon Special series, I seriously doubt that would happen. That particular manga is so much more depressing than the current anime. You do realize that the anime is meant to be a kids show, right?cold_katanagirl said:Not every Misty fan is a Pokeshipper for one thing. And so what if people want her back? I want the writers to ditch the current cast and make a more manga based show, but that doesn't mean it'll happen.
