Ugh... Post has been dead since September, then THIS all starts all over again...

There haven't been any shipping hints in Hoenn OR the new Kanto series (if anything, the new Kanto series had more Orangeshipping and I forgot what Misty x Max is called hints).
What are you talking about in Hoenn? There's at least a handful if you look carefully enough! The somewhat obvious one would be the short visit by Misty in the two-part Mirage Kingdom episodes. If you didn't notice already, since leaving Misty behind in Kanto, Ash has been quite moody since then. (Just look how he talks smack to James back at Granite Cave...) During the episodes, Ash tries to show how tough he is telling Misty, May, and Max to make a run for it. That and him trying to break the barrier between the Togepi Garden and Mirage Kingdom. He was the only one helping Misty there. To some, like me, that's a little evidence of Pok?mon, and much to my suprise, Ash is actually making the moves this time whether he knows it or not...

Then back up what you say.
Well, that wasn't strong evidence, but the episode after that involving Romeo and Juliet, did show stronger evidence. (technically the episode was supposed to be BEFORE the Mirage Kingdom. I guess 4Kids did it for the reason I'm thinking) Notice that May remarks that even old friends can become lovers near the end. If that doesn't scream "OMG, Pok?shipping lives!!!!!", then you truly are in denial... (hey, this is what I think, so sue me!)

Still, I know that it's far from coming true. Oh well. Hope I don't have to wait too long.

Not every Misty fan is a Pokeshipper for one thing. And so what if people want her back? I want the writers to ditch the current cast and make a more manga based show, but that doesn't mean it'll happen.
I agree about the fan thing, but a manga-based show? If you're refering to the Pok?mon Special series, I seriously doubt that would happen. That particular manga is so much more depressing than the current anime. You do realize that the anime is meant to be a kids show, right?

That, and the current anime is far more linked to the games than the manga...

Oh, and be wary, Supreme Edgeboy Max. Be careful what evidence you put in. Unfortunately, there hasn't been much evidence obvious recently (Hoenn Region), but there is, in fact, evidence that Pok?shipping still lives in 4Kids.

That just sounds like a regular coinkydink to me. If you want to get all literal, Misty seems to be gaining some of her personality back in the Hoso episodes and when she was around Tracey and Max, so does that mean she likes them?

During the episodes, Ash tries to show how tough he is telling Misty, May, and Max to make a run for it.
IMO, Ash wasn't trying to impress anybody. He just wanted them safe and away from the guy that was trying to steal Misty's Togepi.
That and him trying to break the barrier between the Togepi Garden and Mirage Kingdom. He was the only one helping Misty there.
Ash was also the only one blaming himself for May losing her contest too.

IMO, saving or helping someone out in a perilous situation =/= hint unless under circumstances where it's meant to be shippy (Inuyasha saving Kagome 24/7 anyone?).

I think you're looking too far into it. =/

Of course I know that, that's why I used it as an example.

Well, I didn't mean he was trying to impress anybody. I'm just pointing out that Ash really didn't take action until those episodes. Even now, it looks like Ash is sorta passive (except his attitude).

Though, I guess it could be because of the circumstance that Ash was in during his trip to Mirage Kingdom...

Ever since the episode where Ash and May hated each other's guts (involving trainers with Nidoking and Nidoqueen), I wonder what 4Kids is trying to do next. I sure hope they didn't lose hope in you-know-what...

Well, until then, trust me. If I have to find any, and I mean ANY clues, I will.

Hehe... ANY little clue would be good. But well, I'm out to just find out things from the Japanese anime, not the 4Kids one.

=3 Well, yeah. Just gotta wait til when that little hanky comes out next.

Just to set things straight, but if you want to talk about the Japanese version, try to use their Japanese counterparts! (ya know, Satoshi instead of Ash and Kasumi instead of Misty) Maybe that's why I freaked out about the whole thing...

That, and I've heard that Kasumi lost interest in Satoshi a LONG time ago... (I haven't seen any Japanese episodes)

Hehe... if she did, Kasumi wouldn't have cried about it in the final Johto epsiode. =P Same goes for Misty.

Ya know what? Nobody ever told me why Kasumi ran out of the Pok?mon Centerlike that. I've asked that question more times I can remember! Can ANYBODY tell me what happened?!

I know why Misty ran out like that, but I wanna know Kasumi's reason. Is it for the same reasons, even without the flashbacks to re-enforce the evidence?

Oh, and that episode was te second to last Johto episode. The Advanced season starts with May being introduced for the first time.

>_< Nuw... why? *sarcasm* Um.. this is a debate, not a flamewar for insulting others. Back up your reasons. Do something like this again, I'll report you to a mod. ^____^

*cough* Now dqle... what the heck are you talking about? What Misty/Kasumi running out of the Pokemon Center?

Um, you really don't understand what I'm saying?

According to this, I assume that you are talking about the episode "Gotta Catch Ya Later!". If you don't remember, Misty/Kasumi ran out of the Pok?mon Center in Viridian City. Misty, I know, ran out because Ash was just too dimwitted at the time. I have no clue why Kasumi ran out, though.

I only know this is the episode because that's one of two episodes where Misty's crying! And the other one is in Hoenn!

*cough* She did it because... um... CHECK SEREBII'S! I'm sure they'll have something in their episode guides.

Oh please, if I were insulting you I'd be way more blunt and obvious.
Back up your reasons.
Practice what you preach plz.

Kasumi/Misty didn't have to cry or do anything if they found out Ash didn't like them or they got over it or whatever. It depends on the person.

As for why Kasumi ran out the Pokemon Center, it was probably because she was pissed at Ash for being a moron. Same reason for Misty.

Do something like this again, I'll report you to a mod. ^____^
OH NOEZ I R SCARED!1!!

... Wait. No I'm not.

?__? If you're not insulting, don't post pointless little posts like that. Oh, and I'm not going to practice preaching anything right now. I'm not proving anything to anyone yet. Just waiting to see what actually happened to make Kasumi run away.

Um.. like the title? Its a debate. Flaming and debating is different. If you don't know that difference, get lost..... >_< Maybe I will if you get weirder.

You two really should stop arguing like that. Nobody's flaming anyone (or anything) that I can see.

Just... shut up about that and talk about shippings!

It's too vague! What ticked Kasumi off? Also, it doesn't seem you really know yourself, cold_katanagirl. I want what actually happened!!!

I tried Serebii.net. Nothing! I really expected them to have the answer, but no luck for me...

Oh yeah, and I just remembered that Misty/Kasumi did in fact cry another time during Johto.

Knowing Misty/Kasumi, she isn't the type of girl who cries about any little thing. Three times in over 200 episodes? All three times, though, she was sad about losing a friend. Apparently, friends are rare for her, I guess.

Oh yes, because you're soooo going to make me stop with your words of wisdom. [/teh sarcasmz]
Oh, and I'm not going to practice preaching anything right now.
You just flat out admitted your a hypocrite. But everyone is, so nevermind. Just waiting to see what actually happened to make Kasumi run away.
Um.. like the title? Its a debate. Flaming and debating is different.
GEE I NEVER KNEW!
If you don't know that difference, get lost..... >_<
That would have made alot more sense if I had been flaming. I think you're the one who doesn't know the difference between heated debates and flaming. If I were flaming, I'd just call you a dumbass or something around those lines.
Maybe I will if you get weirder.
Doesn't matter either way, it's not like you're doing anything.

Anywayz, about Misty/Kasumi. I think she ran because she was mad at Ash for going all "Oh u got your bike so you're leaving k bai :D". That would tick anyone off. Wouldn't you be mad if your friend was acting like they didn't care you were leaving? It was probably worse since she had a crush on him too.

I agree, Ash was incredibly insensitive. Who woudn't be offended? - and this is from a friendship standpoint. Particularly considering that Misty didn't actually want to leave her friends, but had no choice.

It should also be remembered that Brock began to cry as well when they seperated.

But I wanna know if that is actually what happened! You guys keep saying that "you think". Are you sure???

No, It's a best guess. But considering the fact that afterwards, she no longer cares about leaving the group or shows any signs of sadness, it's one interpretation that works

Meh, why don't we just ask someone who's seen the Japanese episode, and knows Japanese well enough to understand that?

Don't you think I've tried?

Nobody seems to want to tell me. My best bet was Elite Trainer Raven, but he's off PC for some time now...
