Don't worry, he likes to over-exaggerate when it comes to Pokeshipping, no need to apologise.

You ignorant fool.

Win for saying "ignorant fool" XD That just made my day.

Rewatch AG, when May lost her first contest, Ash blamed himself.

He just said that he wished he'd trained more with her, he didn't say it was his fault she lost. May just seemed to be much worse at battling than Dawn did when they both started out, I suppose.

So much trouble could have been prevented if you had first said you used google :( Please excuse me while I go cry in a corner while thinking about how to set my brother's TV on spontaneous combustion.

LOL
(I LOL too much)

BTW Chicago is really nice.
I love looking at the Willis Tower everyday.

And finally, no government trying to ban sites like Youtube, Facebook, etc.

ME is happy in US.

If you are happy in the US you'll be happier in Mexico (Anti-piracy is not enforced :P)

Dude, people are curious like that

Then not Dawn, I suppose.

I would. Look at Caroline and Norman, they're nice to eachother, and are very much in love.

Like I said, not all relationships work the same. -_- Drew and May's relationship are not like Caroline and Norman's.

Have you even heard of a FriendShipper?

I was talking about friendships, not the name of a particular ship. -_-

Yes, while we are at it, let us discuss ContestingShipping.

*insert GSC's battle theme*
Double Battle!
missingnoresearcher and ruby

vs.

???

BTW for those who have been to Chicago, what are some good places to go?

oh...ok..I guess..[.that happened a lot??]..

I seems to agreed on you.Ash never literally blame himself for May's lost,
You could see that DAWN in more advance at May in some battling,..[maybe]and yeah..I agreed on the first part too..

That... that made me laugh. Ahahahah. (<-- see?)

Shedd Aquarium and Art Museum. Both full of win. There's also supposedly a giant metallic ball or reflective thing that's very famous. Glad you're enjoying the US and Chi-town! Keep an eye out for Scruff McGruff. (Anybody? Anybody?)

It's funny, because as I saw the Poke-Advance shipping debate getting heated, I instinctively thought to write something like, "Come on guys, let's get back on topic to..." until I realized that's EXACTLY what the topic is. Shipping. Debates. Shipping debates.

Then I suppose BalanceShipping it's how the writers perceive a healthy romantic relationship

That was so win I'm going to quote this xD

You sure? I remember him saying "This all my fault, I should of trained with you more"

or something along those line. If you have forgotten, Dawn wasn't around in AG o.O

If he wished that he had trained with her more, that *still* counts as blaming himself. He is/was her mentor =|

Yeah. But that doesn't ''completely'' matters as if he's blaming himself.,as if blaming himself for May's lost.and I think it's not that ''literally '' to what it really means.I think...
I can see May does needs some supervision or a little training and Ash wasn't really,*I think* have some more experience training a co-ordinator,..[I therefore conclude May needs some more experience there]

She lost in the battle rounds.

Ash blamed himself for the lost.

How more straight forward can you get?

Even if that's the case, why is it a point for Advanceshipping? I think it's something a friend would feel bad for. I like to run the gender replacement test on potential shipping points-- for example, pretend Ash is a girl and see if it seems awkward, because girl-girl shippiness WOULD seem awkward in such a squeaky-clean show as Pokemon. That test can apply to any ship though.

o.O *is confused* What did I say? Friendships not a Friendshipper (I don't even know what that is)?

She was comparing the two characters in their respective series, not both at the same time.

I didn't feel the whole "mentor" thing after about the fifth episode or so...I would've liked the Advanced saga to go in that direction, with Ash as a "mentor" for May. Unfortunately that didn't work out as May went for contests instead.

Thanks, will try to go to some places this weekend.
Who's Scruff McGruff? *is confused*
Spoiler:

why is it called shipping anyway?

I thought came from the original Rocketshipping...

exactly.

I totally agreed here...

honestly me..too...
I do like the AG series, but the whole ''mentor'' thing didn't quite work out for me,..BUt I do stick with AG contest when Drew and May are aroumd..*smiles*

Sorry, I haven't been posting because I've noticed we are actually on topic... oh well. I missed me too.

Something that does seem to go on is the fact that Ash may probably do the Battle Frontier in Jotho. If so, there is a chance that he could meet back up with May. By that time it should be probable that she is done with her contests and she could just stick back with him just for the heck of it.

It's not only a possible foresight for Advanceshipping, but it's been my childhood (or early adolescence :P) dream that a catfight flames up between May/Dawn/Misty.

... I smell a summer Fan-fic attempt...

You're talking to an avid Image and SapphirePearlShipper here >=|

Still~

If a girl looked at May like that, then it's a point to that yuri ship.

I like the way you think, I also switch genders on different ships. BUT. ContestShipping is a *weee* bit different, you see, Brianna ALSO sent May a rose, which is suggesting that roses aren't as romantic as everyone thinks they are.

[waits patiently for random ContestShipper to come up]

Ahh~ You poor, innocent shipper. A "FriendShipper" is a person who ships two people in a friendly way. It's most people with PikaShipping. You support it, but in the friendly way.

She was comparing the two characters in their respective series, not both at the same time.

Yes, but did he (Ash) know Dawn at the time?

He still screams advice and stuff from the stalls :P

It still doesn't happened all the time,besides..Ash would do it to anyone of his friends,*not just on May,you know,..*Besides it's just ordinary,..
*hahahaha**smiles*..

I can post random pictures too! But this time it's hint related!

"Sure looks like a winner to me…"

"Wow, leave it to that Ash…"

To answer your question thingo

When ever May is in a pinch, Ash would scream all kinds of advice to her, and he always gives little pointers to her.

[PokeCommunity.com] Shipping Debates

He warns her to not get too hot headed like him...She doesn't listen, but hey! She grabs his hand xD

[PokeCommunity.com] Shipping Debates

How he's cheering her up even though she didn't listen to him, he also talks to her about how everyone gets a big head and stuff.

I would post screenies of Ash screaming advice at her, but I have yet to find the pictures...

BUT. ContestShipping is a *weee* bit different, you see, Brianna ALSO sent May a rose, which is suggesting that roses aren't as romantic as everyone thinks they are.

I believe that would be my cue. >w>

The rose might not point out any high level of romance, but it was still a gift. Then there were a couple of occasions where Drew and May blushed in reference to one another, which is sadly for the Advanceshippers, something that never happened between Ash and May.

With the gender-swap point of view, turn Drew into a girl, but keep all the same scenes.. and yes.. it would be awkward, because the moments go a bit farther than the writers would go with them, if both characters were female. D;

Also, no, I'm trying to start any wars about Advanceshipping, I'm just bored, and it's 3am.. XD actually I should go after I post this.
