Yeah. But, sometimes I retain hope that writers actually divulge in parallelism or watch old seasons...it's a dream that'll never come true, isn't it? ;-)

Oh yeah, I was going to make a thread on it to ask, but what does that mean? I'm sure it's something American, from comments that have been made...which is kind of odd since the whole point 4Kids edited the whole thing was to make Pokemon more international :\ ie more American

I was watching Begin! Pokemon Contest - Grand Festival and Haruka vs Shuu! Rivals Forever today (so much better in Japanese, music and Kamo-chan XD) so I'd have to disagree and say Contestshipping is definatly there, all those looks between May and Drew...it's just not there with all the Ash shippings

Thanks S. Magumarashi, for answering me. They are a professional American football team. I have no idea why it was said in the movie. Perhaps one of the voice crew or movie crew is a Vikings fan? It's utterly random. Who can you ship with the Vikings anyway...

"Crossing Paths" I have brought up a number of times but the parallelism has been called a coincidence by others considering the guy has blue hair and then brown hair so it's not the same person. I don't recall "Pika vs Goliath".

Yeah. Contestshipping is not my favorite but I definitely think it's the closest to canon.

I do not know what to debate about, but I have seen a lack of imageshippers, recently. I don't know if there was many to begin with, because the chances of them meeting are really unlikely, but hey.. we can dream?

I am growing to like more sapphirepearlshipping since it is more likely that this pairing COULD meet in the series, though they have been dodging around not meantioning Haruka since Hikari came in.. wonder why?

I suppose you could also say I am devoted pokeshipper too, due to the subtle hints but.. I don't see Ash getting paired up anytime soon. The nearest case of that was Pokemon 4ever..

Oh, contestshipping used to be my favourite, but now it's morpheushipping. How it got that name, I'll never know.
 
I'll never know why, and I still don't understand why it's named Morpheusshipping. I hate it.
 
About the Jun being "eccentric" thing, I remember calling Jun "Aflac" in my diamond game. Seriously, I know i guy named Jun who is "eccentric".

I read it was named after Morpheus the Greek God of dreams bc Ash and Aoi sleep through their lessons.

But having not seen those episodes I hardly know what I am talking about heheh. But I looked it up bc I was like, "I don't think it has to do with the Matrix, right...?"
 
So why can't it be "Sleepshipping" or something corny like that? Or is that taken?

Yeah, everytime I think of Morpheus I think of the Matrix.
 
I am a very strong supporter of Ash and Misty.

Though Misty shows much more evidence of her side on the matter, Ash shows some signs of feeling towards Misty back.


I haven't really seen much of the Advanced and D/P series, so I can't put much up for an argument as far as they're concerned..
But as an old-time pokemon fan, I'm sure my mind won't be changed much.


Also, I like the idea of Jessie and James being a "thing", but I think they suit each other better as simply "just friends", regardless of the "proof" in the Manga.
 
Quite a few Pokeshipping hints are 4Kids-only and weren't in the Japanese version, such as "We'll get married someday" or something like that and they rearranged Misty's departure flashback, they focused on Misty an Ash's relationship whereas in Japanese it focused on Misty as a trainer.

I suppose Ash not wanting Dawn to hold the Misty lure could be seen as a Pokeshipping hint, that was quite funny XD

I actually liked that part. Ash was very defensive and serious about it, which was kinda odd.
