Piketshipping (Pikachu x a bottle of ketchup), Thirdwheelshipping (Brock x Tracy) and ColdCoffeeshipping (Shinji x Jun).

Not only the ships are strange, but... the names. WHERE DO THEY GET THESE NAMES?!
 
Thirdwheelshipping? LOL! That's hilarious! That's my favourite shipping name ever now! I think the fact that Brock and Tracy have a ship at all is stranger than the name. Actually, the name isn't strange at all, it's truth. Aww I tried looking for it on YouTube, but there are no videos. I searched on Google and found this site though https://www.geocities.com/pokekenji/hints.html

My favourite quote:

"1. Whenever Tracey isn't standing near Misty, he's standing with Brock. Hmmm, sounds a bit suspishy to me ;D"

Pretty much sums up all the "evidence" on that site. Well, now we know! Thirdwheelshipping is the one true canon ship.

Ash/Dawn is starting to amuse me. I don't like the characters personally, but I do like their similarity, as it rather appeals to me. I prefer that than the opposites attract shtick that we often see, and the shoving conflict down our throats.

Again, it's only preference.

Oh! Oh! I can explain ColdCoffeeShipping! See, because Jun is so hyper like he's been drinking too much coffee, and then Paul's all cold and mean. I always thought it was a cute name. Not a fan of the ship itself, though xD

Ow, really? :( Heh, I think it's surprisingly canon, Coldcoffee (compared to something incredibly crack-y), Barry is total Paul fanboy! Probably one of my top pairings. The name's cute too.

I agree on the Misty part, but Advance being cute? It's good and was probable but seriously, in my opinion, cute is the last word to describe any shipping in the series...

Maybe except for Pearl, but more like Kawaii for that...
