They used to be best friends so what? He has a special memory a friend, and he cherishes it. and keeps it for luck o3o
Ash also has fond memories of Misty, he keeps her Lure and cherishes it.

Friendship is a strong and important bond in the pokemon anime,

If I had a special object from a great time with a best friend, i'd make sure to keep it safe

Heh, I've never liked Brendan, so I've never really liked Hoenn shipping. I don't know if he's a better character in the manga or anything. But I like Contestshipping, it's the closest ship to canon, I think. I mean, out of the main characters.

I am not gonna get off my lazy butt to actually "trust" on somebody with an insane addiction with Yaoi and simply cannot put capital letters on correctly. I am in fact willing to bet any freaking thing in my freaking possesion that NO Yaoi will be cannon in the anime within the next 10 years. Heck make it 20. And I am using more than just logic thinking on this.

Again though Sunday, yaoi is fun for certain people (me too, so I'm not attacking you just because I don't like it or something like that) but you have to know it's got no real basis in the actual show. It's common sense...
