I was watching the Manaphy movie, and I noticed something. When Ash and May swin underwater, they look at each other, and are suddenly surrounded by Luvdisc, and continue to stare at each other until May needs a breath of air.

Whoa am I... am I missing something? Isn't Volkner a dude? Isn't he the one who's all depressed in the game and like "I need my purpose!" and then you beat him and he's like "I found my purpose!"? That guy? Then how come Flint...?
Cynthia would be an option in that case except I think they could totally be brother and sister. Both ambitious, both blonde, both kind of mystical. I can really see that.
I was actually thinking Flannery for Flint, too. They both seem to have that fiery personality. No pun intended, or pun intended, your choice.

Flint and Volkner are just friends like Candice and Maylene are. I can picture Jasmine with Volkner. They both live near a lighthouse and they are both in the same town in Dppt.
I think Flannery should be with Brock. ;)
I'm going for a Gardenia/James pairing. He gave a Pokemon to her. Didn't he? (Sorry for not remembering the whole episode. :/)
As for Ash, I think he should be with Misty. If you have seen all the episodes with them together, you'll know why. Especially the Orange Islands season.

In DP Flint is in Sunyshore and says you have to cheer Volkner up by battling him (or something like that). In Platinum he's there again and also in the battle islands thing, they're both standing outside the road to the Battle Frontier and you have to double battle them with Jun. Other main characters don't usually hang around together, except from the teams

Yeah, James gave his Cacnea away to her. Gardenia seemed more interested in his Pokemon than anything else, though XD

I haven't seen every episode of Pokemon nor do I remember them all. As for "Lily," Advanced was talking about me. (By the way, my name isn't Lily. It's Ashley. Lily was supposed to be a Pokemon anime reference. Lily is one of Misty's sisters. I made this username years ago.) I don't know what the Japanese episodes are about, but I go by the dub. The previous pairings I listed were for fun and to stir some conversation.
I haven't seen enough Hoenn episodes to come to the conclusion of May and Ash nor have I seen enough Sinnoh episodes to come to the conclusion of Dawn and Ash.
I'm not one of those "obsessed crazed Pokeshippers." I don't go making fan fics about them or any of this. But I have seen some episodes. Misty seemed to care for Ash in a similar way Helga cared for Arnold from Hey Arnold. (Not the same exact way, because Helga had shrines of Arnold.) The only girl I've seen Ash go openly ga-ga over was Giselle from Poketech. Now, it appears that Ash isn't as outward about his feelings as Misty was. I'll give you that. However, I consider the episode with the Misty lure to be a subtle hint. Ash refused to let Dawn hold/use it. He was very attached to that lure. Sure you can counter that by saying that you get attached to gifts that your friends have given. But why react the way Ash did? "NO WAY, DAWN!" He could have just said, "no" politely, but he didn't. He refused to let her use it.

Gym Leader Lily is my username. That's the Lily everyone is talking about. I named myself after the Lily from the Cerulean gym. My name is Ashley. Hello.

Candice and Zoey would NEVER be together. Where did you even get that idea? Is Zoey even in the episode with Candice? Clue me in please, because I honestly don't know where you came up with that idea.

Zoey comes from Snowpoint, Candice is the Snowpoint gym leader. She hasn't appeared in the dub, but what I remember from the Japanese version is that they were both in the same episode and Candice was fangirling over Dawn (I think?).
Well more specifically she was fangirling over Dawn's outfit.
