I 100% agree with the first two pairings. However, please don't be mad, but I think Dawn should be with Gary instead of Paul. I'm sorry. Please no one bring the Jonas brothers into this again.

I had the idea of Dawn and Gary being together before Diamond/Pearl was released in the US. I even made a sprite of the two of them together. Then I saw the episode and knew there was hope for the two of them. Plus, their outfits MATCH! How cute! :)
 
OK, who just mentioned the Jonas Brothers again!? No Jonas Brothers in this thread! No mentioning them! Not any of them!

Anyway, Ash/Misty was mostly dub-only hints that 4Kids added in, I like Drew/May, there were a few small hints and I like Paul/Dawn but I just like the idea, not that it's canon XD

I think Jessie and James should be paired. That is ONLY if Jessie agrees to go to anger management courses. XD

I've always been sceptical of Rocketshipping. They have like a sibling kind of relationship, rather then a romantic one. Or at least that's how it appears to me.
 
First off, I didn't know it was a rule.
Second, I said that I don't want anyone comparing Gary to you-know-who when I added my reasoning for a Dawn/Gary shipping. I didn't want someone coming in here again and telling me the Gary situation. Gary > You-know-who.

To Super Puppy, I can see why you think that about Jessie and James. Jessie seems like Sharpay whereas James is like Ryan. (HSM hahahah!) Ahem, still, for them to be a couple, Jessie would have to take anger management classes. James is too afraid of her at the moment.

Dawn and Gary should be together. Their clothes actually match. It is cute! If not them, then Dawn and Kenny, or Dawn and Jun/Pearl dude).
 
Guess my post didn't make sense at all, huh?

Let me explain. Candice and Zoey both go way back (BFFs) and were in the same episode. They are also constantly seen together. And as with all other similar cases, a new ship is born. See where I'm going with this?

That may be true. I don't know; I've seen many successful relationships based on fear. Haha! I agree with you, in short.

But I was referring more to the way they interact with eachother. They act like siblings, not like people who are interested in a romantic relationship. They care about each other deeply, but often squabble and compete on the surface. The two of them remind me of the way my best friend (a guy) and I act towards each other. Except he's not afraid of me, haha.

Thanks for explaining! But bahahaha, that's why people are going on about him and Flint?! Because they stood next to each other? Man, in that case I have to be more careful about who I stand next to.

As for the more recent posts-- Yes!! Rocketshipping skyrockets again!!! It's my favorite shipping by far. Pardon my thrilled-ness. :-P And no no no, as someone who loves Team Rocket and has a brother, Jessie and James don't act like any brother/sister I know. O.o Maybe sometimes they do by the way Jessie bullies James around and the whole they-disagree-but-still-care-about-each-other thing that's sometimes present, but their relationship is consitently evolving by seeing different sides of each other. This would hardly ever happen with brothers and sisters because they are from the same family. For example, like GymLeaderLily was saying, everytime Jessie's anger breaks it shows real potential for them as equals.

As for Rocketshipping, I'm kinda neutral, but when you consider the fact Jessie and James are pretty much alone when they can send Meowth off
to some dumb task very easily...

I like all those, so I won't. xD;

But I still say that even though fanart makes PaulxDawn cute at times, in the actual series it could never happen. Actually, I can't ever see Paul dating Dawn. Ever. D: Also, all of the AshxMisty hints were thrown in by 4Kids, but again.. fanarts are cute.

Now, anyone's free to argue away on that. :x

Rocketshipping doesn't interest me one single bit. They're all a bunch of idiots to me. Jessie gets the most annoying. James is okay. And Meowth is in the middle.
 
I don't like Rocketshipping. Maybe because the duo isn't the bishojo+bishonen ship I really enjoy, and imagining them doing lovey-dovey stuff makes me wanna puke?

Pretty much ever episode about Ash & Co has Team Rocket being all goofy and not serious. But any Team Rocket-centric episode makes Rocketshipping looks really sweet.
