Personally I believe if rocketShipping is not canon, then it will be canon. It's just one of those few shippings on the verge to canon.

Yes, I know I was comparing across different series's. I've explained to you myself a few times I was comparing. Other people have even explained for me to you that I was comparing. I'm well aware I was comparing how May battled at the start of AG to how Dawn battled at the start of DP. I don't get why you're having such difficulty understanding this. If May wasn't very good, then Ash would want to help her out more. Dawn's more independent and just needs Ash as a training partner, rather than mentor as you were talking about with May, so Ash doesn't really need to do anything else for her. I was comparing their relationships. The point of the thread.
