    This is something that I wanna know...What are "Shippings" ?? For example: Advanceshipping, Rangershipping...
     
    I believe that they're basically just pairings between different characters, and the fans give each one their own names and stuff. Such as Pokeshipping (Misty x Ash), Advanceshipping (May x Ash), etc.

    I've personally never gotten into them too much... so I don't know much about them. I like Ash and Misty together, but that's kind of it. Someone else could probably give you more information than I can, but I still decided to post. XD
     
    I wondered something about pairings...But...They usually are false pairs, right ??

    And what do you mean with "give each one their own names", please ?? You mean that "Mrs-So-and-So" calls Misty "Mrs-So-and-So" ??

    Well, I guess that in a lot of cases they're just made up by the fans... the Pokémon anime doesn't really have much romance in it, as we all know. XD There are still several episodes that hint at the possibility of certain pairings, though, so I guess that a lot of fans have fun with that.

    Oh, and I'm just talking about names given for the different shippings--like "Pokeshipping", for example. It's just what people call the Ash and Misty pairing. ^_^ There are names for tons of other different pairings... I'm not sure where to find a list of them, though.

    Yeah, it's very confusing... That's why I don't really bother to get into them that much! I have a lot of trouble remembering all of the different names and stuff.

    But anyway, you're welcome! Hopefully someone will come along who can explain it better than me, though. XD

    Kazuki and Hinata are the Japanese names for the 2 protoganists of Pokemon Ranger. oO (Their English names are Lunick and Solana)

    The term "Shipping" is short for "Relationshipping," which means pairing two characters together, and basically what Kayleigh said. ^^ The shipping can be anything (yuri, yaoi, het). When naming a shipping/pairing, you usually think of something the 2 characters have in common. For example, May x Drew is called Contestshipping, because they both enter contests. Kazuki x Hinata is called Rangershipping, because they are both Pokemon rangers. Ash x May is called Advanceshipping, because they are both from the Advanced Generation season of Pokemon. I hope that cleared everything up for you. ^^
