Should Ash get a Riolu/Lucario?

I think it would be cool. But Ash isnt allowed to have cool pokemon. atleast not that cool. besides, his team is full already. and when is the last time he actally caught a pokemon when his team was full? i thnk it was in season 1...
 
Ahh, the ever lasting discussion of Ash and Riolu/Lucario...
Whether or not Ash gets a Riolu or Lucario, I'll leave that up to the writers. Whatever the writers decide on that part, I'll be fine with it.

Though to be honest, I believe that Ash getting Riolu or Lucario is just as big (or small depending how you look at it) as any other Pokemon.

I dunno why people care so much either, whether they like or dislike it haha. I have a feeling that it must be brought up a lot on Serebii, so people got annoyed there and get annoyed whenever anyone else brings it up in the rest of the fandom haha XD

Simple, because people don't want it to deteriorate into an auraholic vs antiauraholic discussion. Which is what it ALWAYS comes down to. Militant auraholics insisting that Ash will:
A. Dump either Gliscor, Staravia, or Grotle(...?) for a Riolu egg.
b. Oak the egg and it will come back in a filler saga.
C. Will be given the Riolu from the Ranger Special despite it having an owner.

Militant Anti-Auraholics:
A. Want to see it being the first Pokemon to die in the anime just to get at the Auraholics
B. Just want to get at the Auraholics in other ways
C. Compare Ash getting Riolu to getting Arceus.>_>

Either side is pretty bad. I don't want Ash to get it, and despite my previous post, I am not going to complain if he does get it. To be honest, it doesn't matter if he does because after the 4th gen is over it will rot in Oak's lab and this debate will die. Honestly, I've seen political debates less intense then this type of dicussion.
 
As a bystander and as long as it is kept civil, I find it rather entertaining to read arguments like Auraholics option C or Anti-Auraholics option A going back and forth. XD

So do all Auraholics think that Lucario should be a legendary and that it's the coolest pokemon in the universe? And do all Anti-auraholics think that Lucario shouldn't even be considered a pokemon?

I found out about a week ago, auraholic is when you want Ash to get Riolu/Lucario so anti is obviously the opposite. I think that's right.

Auraholic-Noun- A person who believes that at all costs Satoshi/Ash Ketchum must have a Riolu and consistently say horrible things about Staravia, Grotle, and Gliscor saying they should be dumped for Riolu.

Anti-Auraholic- Noun- A fan who believes that Ash/Satoshi should never get Riolu, think Aura is stupid, hate Riley, hate Iron Island, Hate Lucario, hate Sir Aaron and think the 8th movie should never have happened. Or they simply just are one because they hate Auraholics.

I'm gonna have to say I'm neither. Because that just sounds stupid.
 
In it's most simplest form, most people can be classified. XD I mean whoever wants Ash to get Riolu will be called an auraholic by the rest of the fandom. Like Unown_, I like to watch arguments between the two warring factions. I mean really "Ash will get the egg then oak it." >_> No offense to anyone who thinks that, but really come on now...Oh and option D for Auraholics.
D. Dawn gets the egg from Riley and Ash trades Buizel, Grotle, and Gliscor for it.

The middle does tend to be a safe place until people get ticked at those who haven't chosen a side...

I'm neutral as to Ash getting a Riolu, though I think it'd be funnier and more unpredictable if Brock got it instead.

Oh I wholeheartedly agree, when you join either side, you are just joining another pointless flamewar. Personally, I don't like auraholics, but the other side isn't really better.
 
After this week, the discussion will die. I mean people are looking at Thursday seeing it as either heaven or hell depending on if Gen gives Satoshi the egg.

Hmmm...It would be nice if Ash got a Riolu; but what's the point? He doesn't really need one. So what if Ash has a special aura? We already saw his connection with a Riolu in that Kidnapped two-parter episode; let's just leave it at that. :)
