Should Ash get a Riolu/Lucario?

Why are we still even talking about this though?
 
Because no matter how much you wish for it not to be, its gonna stay a hot topic to those who like the idea. Kinda like the GSDS thread.
 
People are forgetting ONE single thing. It's so simple that people tend to forget it.

In "The Keystone Pops", that old hag (don't know who the heck she is, don't care either) told Satoshi and friends about an Aura Guardian WHO HAS A FRIGGING Pikachu. Who said Aura Guardians should have Aura Pokemon? The Aura movie and the Riley thing is MISLEADING. Don't believe that Aura Users have to use Riolu/Lucarios. Besides, Satoshi said he wants to be a Pokemon trainer than follow up the Guardian line.

Seriously, this conversation is DISMISSED.
 
I hate lucario it is ugly stupid and just seems like a pokemon that Ash wouldnt have it

Yes, I don't really want Ash to have it, but don't curse something with strong words (like hate) that doesn't worth your attention. It's useless, and people will ignore your post. Just WHY do you hate it? Which part of Lucario is ugly? Why is it stupid? Why wouldn't Ash WANT it? Please elaborate further.

Judging by your statement, you're an Anti-Auraholic, aren't you?

Anyway, I mean like it's almost like someone deciding that in the Phione episode May is going to come back and catch it.

I have to disagree with u saying ash being "immature" because u cannot deny he's grown up quite a lot since he first started his journey in the Kanto...but if Ash EVER had to get a riolu, it might be when pokemon finally comes to an official end and they show each of ash's pokemon he has captured throughout the years, at least that is what I think...

That answer works, buuut it's not really what the topic is about.

Sure, an Aura Guardian doesn't have to have a Lucario, heck a Pidgey could probably learn the skill as well, but this is whether or not Ash should have a Lucario.. >_>;

I would like to see an Aura User Pikachu, though.. o_o

The main reason people think Ash needs Riolu (and eventually evolve it to Lucario) is because of Aura. That's the whole Auraholic argument in itself is because of the 8th movie, The Key Stone Pops, and the Riolu episode, they think that it proves he has to get it. Apparently if Ash has aura he has to have an aura Pokemon.

No.

The reason this argument sprouted is ALL because of Aura. People want Ash to have a Lucario is because of Aura, and Aura itself. It's not because of its power of anything.
 
I think Ash has this special connection with Riolu/Lucario!! I'd really love for him to have a Riolu (cuter), but he already has 6 pokemon.. and I wouldn't want any of those 6 pokemon to leave him either.
But I really loved that 2 Riolu episodes and the Lucario movie! So I think it's be great if they in the future have another episode that emphasizes on the Ash-Riolu/Lucario chemistry instead of having Ash own one..
 
A Riolu, NOT Lucario. Why? Because Riolu is CUTE, and Ash has to treat it like a baby! XD. No im being Serious, Riolu.
 
Honestly though, I mean it seems pretty unlikely at this point. I mean its not that he can't get the rat dog, but it's not very likely. Don't get me wrong I CLEARLY have my biases, but I am not going to sit here and pretend I am one of the writers.
 
I don't think he should get a Lucario, as it would be too powerful. However, if he got a Riolu that wouldn't evolve, it might be a bit interesting. Something else they could do is have Ash befriend a Riolu for a few episodes and then release it (I know that's exactly what happened with Larvitar).
 
It would be pretty cool if he got a Lucario, but it would probably be his strongest pokemon.

Of course, Sceptile and Charizard aren't powerful at all.

That's because EVERY movie preceding it starred a legendary. It had nothing to do with aura. XD
