Should bees be able to taste like honey?

In an idealistic world, shouldn't bees be able to taste like honey, considering their entire lives revolve around collecting pollen and creating honey? Or is this just wishful thinking?

The thought of eating an insect or bug is rather revolting. xD But I don't think they should be able to taste like honey... they collect it for us to eat. :3

I'm more concerned with the fact that I just knew it was Nica that made this thread...and then I thought, "And Jolene has Combee in her sig, so she won't eat bees". Anyway, I ain't eatin' a bee any time soon, so I could care less what it tastes like. I don't think it would be very pleasant, actually.

All I can say about this is good luck removing the stinger because if you don't, then you wouldn't taste honey at all because it would hurt so much you wouldn't even notice it.
