Should I Get An Xbox 360?

I don't understand your question very well.

Are you asking if you should get an xBox 360? If so, then yes, and make sure to get live if you want more. Enjoy!

I've been using an Xbox Arcade since Christmas of '07 and have had no problems so far. However, if you're main goal is to play Xbox Live (as 90% of xbox gamers do) you should but the Elite. Also, the things said about PS3 and Live's online community are greatly exaggerated. I can assure you that the PSN isn't a ghost town, and that not every Live member is a racist twelve year old. As a matter of fact, I've been playing Call of Duty: WaW since last Christmas and have probably run into one or two racist players.

Well obviously not all are racist 12 year olds. ;]

You get a lot more racists/homophobes on XBL than you do on PSN though, you'll find most of them on Halo3.

This is a fact and I support it.
You'll also encounter racist homophobes that have the mentality of 12 year olds but turn out to be older than I am.

2 years with it, no RRoD or signs of it.

Just keep it away from other eletronic devices, don't place it on a carpet and don't block the ventilation holes. It's that simple.

yeah i traded my wii in and got a 360 instead. im much happier with it

I'd have to say... it really depends on if you're into online play or not. I know it has a lot of offline games, but most of your playtime will be online if you're into it.

Personally, I love the 360. I think it's the best system this gen (and I own all 5 of them... 3 consoles and the 2 handhelds).
The PS3 is good, and I've been playing the heck out of it lately (due to RE5). But, I think XBL is better then PSN. I'm a very lazy person and I don't like having to take the extra steps just to send an invite or accept an invite. And I'm not sure if the PS3 has party chat or not (as in like a group of 8 can all be in a party, on different games doing diffrent things and yet all still talk to each other), maybe one of the others here can answer that question. And there are some other things I like about XBL better.

And as for the RRoD... I've had it twice. Both times it was repaired for free... but I think I heard somewhere a good while back that they are in fact going to make people pay for shipping. It's a downside yes, but I still think the 360 is the best bet for a system.

You can party chat but only on certain games, you can't play your own music on PSN when online either, which you can do on XBL. Sending invites on PS3 is the same on CoD games as it is on 360, but again, not sure about other games.

But since PSN is free, I don't see the sense in complaining over a few missing features.

But I would really like to be able to play music from my playlists whilst online D:

Yeah thats one of the few gripes i have with my ps3 , i have music there to listen to not to waste space. I havent even used my music in my ps3 and im just gonna delete it sooner or later if sony never brings in this feature. Though the earth cgi whilst listening to music is pretty sweet :P

Sending invites is pretty easy , you just go to your friends list and click invite friend to play "X" game. Then it sends the invite , thats it :P

I think playing music on a console why playing games isn't all it's cut out to be... then again that's why I have an iPod. XD

The reason why I said I have probs with inviting people on PSN more then XBL because when I play RE5 it's a pain to accept an invite or send an invite. I'm just use to XBL where it's pretty much 3 clicks for everything.

its pretty much just as simple on psn with the xmb

PS button > scroll to friends list (should be 2 icons to the right) , scroll to messages and done :P
