You might want to check a price guide first to see what the market is like for a particular card and if it's highly sought after. If the card is highly valuable than you could consider getting it graded. Here are a couple links to check out. Here and here

That's a neat little collection you got! I'd love to get my hands on some of them, haha.

Grading is always debatable. Are you planning on selling them? Because graded cards are best for when you want to make big money on a sale. Otherwise, if you just want to keep them or are curious about what they'd be graded, I'd recommend leaving them alone. Reserve grading for either your show-stopping display piece or something you're willing to part with.

It's also not worth it if you think you might not get anything 8+. Poorly graded cards are much less likely to sell than your standard ungraded holo. What's the general condition of the cards?

Unsurprisingly, the Charizard is your best card...by a l-o-n-g way. If it's not in a soft sleeve then it should be (not just the binder page). Condition is crucial and will be judged harshly, so it's best to be critical; scratches on the holo? not just the obvious ones but the really fine ones will knock it hard. Look at the back, especially the edges - any spots of white or wear? If you can see it at all it will count against the card.

Agree with Fairy about grading. It's also taking an insanely long time to get cards graded at the moment (PSA). Don't know where you are, but I'm UK and, using an agent, my cards are taking maybe 12 months.
