Should Jimmy Return?

We all know about the G/S remakes, so I've been wondering about Jimmy returning for another special. I think it would be a pretty cool idea.

If the GS remake is a good way to continue the Chronicles then sure, and the new Jimmy would appear pretty nice with his new look in the anime. Now, seeing the new girl with it as well, I wouldn't mind seeing that in the anime if he were to return.

It could be nice if he'll appear on the show and meat or battle ash, but a special with atilla and hun is pretty good to.

I would love to see Jimmy come back. Maybe he should replace Brock. He's a much cooler character. He's got a BA Typhlosion, a Girl who wants him and he likes too, a fairly decent battle record and has seen legendaries like Ash.

How about Jimmy replace Ash for a bit? After all, there is a new Johto arc(well...more than likely anyway) coming up, so why shouldn't Jimmy take over as main character and give Ash a break. Or maybe. Or, maybe Jimmy could be Ash's 'rival' for that arc?

And maybe they could throw Silver in too? :P (although I hate to think of what crap name the English dub would think up for him >.>)

You do know they most probably would give him a different name than Silver in the Japanese version as well, right?

I don't think they really can bring back Jimmy, as he seems really far into his adventure already. Unless he were to become somebody else's partner...

That's actually a cool idea! Have Brock take another break, and introduce Jimmy for a while... I also want to hear "You rock and you rule!" again. That catchphrase is so awesome! (In Pokemon, at least)

Well, we've been following Ash through 4 regions and an archipelago, and his Pikachu is supposed to be Level 100 by now. However, it seems to be suffering from "level-reset disorder" each time it enters a Gym Battle...
And Brock's really far in his adventures, too, even though he barely competes in anything... I think Jimmy would make a nice addition/Brock substitution to the group, despite how far he's advanced. I wish Marina could tag along, but she's modeling...maybe she could make a cameo?

I like Jimmy's design, but I don't want him appearing exactly as he does in HG/SS, because that would mess up my player character naming conventions... :( Maybe he could have clothes that are reminiscent of the new Gold's clothes.

Introducing Jimmy through Chronicles would make it even cooler if him or Marina returned for some kind of HG/SS tie in.

They might be able to do something with Soul too. Like... make it a love SQUARE, two girls and two guys! The plot thickens...
