Should Water type moves be super effective against electric type pokemon?

what about water type moves be super effective against poison type? cause water could wash away the poison?

Now that's just silly. If anything, it should be the opposite. Poison pollutes the ocean and kills sea creatures. :P

How about this:

Water is super-effective on Fire,Ground,Rock.

Ground is super-effective on Electricity.

Do you see electric types defeating everbody? No! They're typically defensively weak, and therefore water does not need to beat electricity, as pretty much everything else can anyway, especially now Nature Power turns into Earthquake in most places, so Lotad can pwn Raikou theoretically, and most new pokemon can learn Earthquake.

And if you put a non-waterproof electronic in a swimming pool, it's broken!

HAHAHA thats a good one! electronics break in water! HAHAHA so my MP3 player that went into the river 2 years ago is broken yet i still use it when i mow the lawn? No but seriously electrons only break in water if they are turned on when wet or in water because it causes them to short circuit.

Electric Pokémon are built to withstand huge amounts of electricity flowing all over them, because that's how they get their attacks out. Being wet will make their electricity flow all over them. I don't see Pikachu having a problem with it.

Someone in the same puddle as Pikachu would, though.

Electricty disperses into water. So no.

What actually happens is the electronics break down because of the electricity flying out of it.. it totally fries. AND fries anything in the water. But the "electricty" isn't harmed so much.. it's just been released. Thats the real life setting.. thats why you don't drop toasters in the tub. If anything, water should be super effective against steel, but even that is a bit of a stretch.

I always had problems with Fire and Ice. You melt Ice, you get water that puts out fire.. but it doesn't work like that in pokemon either.
