OCC: No!! She's not!! Maybe your character is.. so she wears a wig.. XD

IC:
"Well.. I'm Silver.. and this is Yukari and Miruka... you probably knew it already.. nice to meet you anyway.." feeling really bored of repeating the same thing over and over again..

OOC: Heh, yeah, she's not bald. She's just...*Covers mouth with hand* Sorry, meh lips are sealed. You'll just have to find out the hard way. >=-D

IC:

Rai raised an eyebrow at the girl's explanation. He had never heard of such a trend before and did fancy himself fairly knowledgable in that area. Spending a lot of time in high society, even if it was time one considered boring and repetitive in the extreme, could do that to a person. It wasn't like they ever spoke of anything beside fashion, gossip, and politics anyway, society people.

"Well, if you say so." the boy replied at last, shrugging, after all, what did he know about street trends? Judging by some of the things that had been trendy in the past wearing a helmet inside sounded almost normal. At least it had some added perks like protection from accidents and such.

Maxie didn't even bother to acknowledge Silver's answer. Strangely enough, though, Silver reminded Maxie of herself. Silver wore a cycle helmet, which put Maxie in mind of her gloves. Of course, Maxie's gloves were to hide her revolting hands, and she doubted Silver had the same problem... maybe she was bald...? Hmmm...
"What do you think, Fang?" she asked, and he furrowed his brow in concentration. He seemed to know what she meant straight away.
{I reckon... she's got inu-yasha ears!} he said, with a giggle. Maxie rolled her eyes.

OOC: Ugh... PC keeps screwing up on me when I'm posting from school. >.<

Physics is teh evilest Alter, ooh yes it is. TxT Hope you feel better; I for one love days when it's dark and rainy. ^___^ Probably because for the first five years of my life California was in a drought, and I never saw any rain.

As for science I love Biology, Chemistry, heck even Botany; but Physics.... grrrrr.....!

YAY! Flissie's back!

And yes, I think you are influencing us Yibber! Should I be afraid...? o.o

BTW, Dunsparce deserved a better episode in the anime. That had to be one of the most boring episodes I had ever seen. The poor thing.

Zachary
===========

"Oh, um, well...," Zachary stammered at Jena and Rai's two statements. He should have known someone would say that; and he wasn't quite sure how to answer so he just laughed about it.

{Hm... maybe, but I don't think so,} Zigzagoon replied to the other pokemon, attempting to make her think more positively about her new trainer. What did they know anyway of freedom? They had probably forgotten about the time they were free, and what it was like.

Zachary looked up as the Swablu landed on Rai's hand, and watched as yet another girl came up to him wanting her pokemon back. He walked up to them as the others began to get interested in her, and smiled at Rai.

"You, my friend, are what some might call a 'chick magnet'," he said to him, folding his arms, "That makes, what, four girls you've met?" He then turned his attention to the girl, who had introduced herself as Silver. "Hi, I'm Zachary," he said simply. Might as well introduce himself; this one would probably join up with the group as well.

"Phew.. luckily he asked nothing more.." Silver muttered under her breath.. "If he did.. I won't be able to handle it.. Just have to pray hard that there won't be anymore questions from him.."

{Hey!! Me is Yukari.. me is happy to meet you here..} Yukari introduced herself to Fangs..

Turning to Zachary, Silver introduced herself and her Pokemon.. "This is gonna be the last time I'm gonna do this.." she thought to herself..

OCC: LA.. Yibber rubbed ya' off? Then you're in for some serious trouble..

{Hi, Yukari! Does your trainer have inu-yasha ears?} he chirupped, until Maxie finally managed to grab his tail and pull him back down.
"Fang, shut up." she said, and yanked his ear.
{Sorry....I was just wondering...it's weird, wearing a helmet inside.}
"Shut it, Fang!" she said, slightly more maliciously. This time, the little bat seemed to get the hint and jumped into Maixe's front pocket.

Maxie groaned at Zachery's comment. "More like a weirdo magnet..." she muttered quietly. The girls here were hardly normal - well, Kayley and Jena could pass as it, but she expected they had some crazy story deep down. What was it that Jena had said about Milotics...?

OOC: Yes... I think I should be afraid Fliss.

Well, this is gonna be my last post for about an hour and a half or so. I've got English class to go to and I have to quickly finish my homework before it. ^^; So, yeah, be back then.

Zachary
===========

Zachary smiled a bit at Maxie, though he didn't really know what she had grumbled about; he assumed it was something sarcastic or insulting. Whatever the case, he was quickly learning to ignore those comments and shrug them off.

Ron walked up to the other pokemon all inspecting Yukari. {I think that a helmet is stylish. After all, I wear one myself! There's no better protection, and people often comment about how shiny it is. I think it's cool,} the little Aron concluded, nodding.

Luka made a noise of disbelief, but came over to watch what was happening anyway. She didn't feel happy enough to interact yet, but she was certainly not wanting to look afraid of the group, so she didn't hesitate in going over to them.

"Have you come to sign up for the league as well?" Zachary asked Silver, changing the subject a bit.

OOC: Be back soon! >.<

OOC: Ah, finally someone who sees the evil. *Glares at physics-pros in the thread* Yes, Physics is the worst. I used to think that Chemistry was okay but ever since that horrible teacher I had last year (Flissie and Yibber would know who I'm talking about) I won't go near that subject even with a ten-foot barge pole. Biology's okay, only it's far too boring for my tastes. The way we do it over here it's all about memorizing things. I prefer languages. Just scored 28/30 on a comparative commentary in English the other day. And those two points I lost were because I didn't have enough time to write a conclusion (We were given precisely one hour for the whole thing). ^^

And yes, I'm feeling slightly better now. Wrote a little something in my siggy to keep me on track, although it might seem a bit pessimistic.

Oh, and Dunsparce got a bad anime appearance? Pfft...I'm beyond being shocked by the decisions they make for that show. <_< Honestly, I checked up on Serebii net and found that Cradily has only had one single appearance in the whole Anime, and even then it was upstaged by Armaldo. *Grumbles* Fools...wouldn't know a good pok?mon even if it bit them in the neck and devoured them...

IC:

Rai grinned slightly at Zachary's comment, not a half bad payback for his own. But maintaining appearances had always been the boy's speciality, and he was not going to let this be an exception to the rule.

"Perhaps..." he replied at last "But a gentleman doesn't brag." he smiled mischievously.

Chupon tilted his head. {Inu-who?} he asked, nonplused, although he did wonder what it was that the girl was hiding underneath that helmet of hers. Maybe she was having one of those...what were they called again...oh yes, bad hair days. Yes, that had to be it.

Maxie laughed sheepishly at Zachery's expression. "Don't worry," she assured him, in a slightly kindlier vocie, "I wasn't really making fun of you."
Fang nodded. {She's mean to everybody. She's got 'bully-everyone-itus'.} he laughed at his own joke, and Maxie completely ignored him, except to mutter 'Sh'up' under her breath.

She decided to distract herself, and turned her attention to Rai.
"So you're an aristocrat? Through blood?" she asked, feigning interest quite effectively. Her hand was aching again, and she needed to keep her mind off it.

{ooc| lol, Alter. In real life, I'm incredibly pessimistic - I often tell my friends, when they worry about their looks 'statistics show 10/10 pretty people die anyway'. It normally gets a laugh.}

OOC: Ah the pessimists. I can go either way. I would call myself optimistic, I mean, I don't see the good in everything, but I do see it more often than the bad. I can be quite cynical too, especially around my family. ^-^

Well, PC was down for a while, or I would've posted sooner. Instead I drew a lovely Chikorita using the Bezier tool for the first time officially!

See.

Anyway...

Zachary
=============

"Oh don't worry," Zachary said to Maxie, "You wouldn't hurt my feelings even if you were. I'm not that sensitive you know." He smiled, and then turned his attention back to Silver and Rai.

"Rai an aristocrat?" he responded to Maxie's statement, "No!" He laughed a bit, "Don't take it the wrong way though, I wish sometimes I knew how to act like a gentleman." He could think of several instances right that second.

{And helmets are good in the rain too!} Ron concluded, nodding some more. He had been coming up with more uses for helmets since the conversation began.

OOC: Meh... yeah it's short. But Melissa's hungry!! ;_; See you guys later! I'm off to lunch!

OOC: Heh, I usually fancy myself an optimist actually. But sometimes life just gets me down. Don't worry about the shortness Melissa, just enjoy your lunch. We wouldn't want you to become a starving artist now, would we? ^^ The Chikorita looks great by the way, and it's got this kind of 'Don't-mess-with-me' expression to it. I like. ^^

IC:

For a moment Rai was at loss concerning how to respond to Maxie's question. After all, he still wasn't all too keen on revealing his family roots to these people, nice though they were, each in their own way. When Zachary went and denied it straight of, the boy picked up on his cue, smiling once more.

"You don't need to be an aristocrat to be a gentleman, Maxie." he replied, "In fact, it seems like few aristocrats have any grasp of manners whatsoever." he shook his head "Yes, I'm from a wealthy family. But no, I wouldn't call myself an aristocrat. I'm just homeschooled, that's all." he concluded, hoping that the others would buy his deception.

{Really?} Chupon asked, peering at Ron's helmet with newfound fascination {Doesn't it...you know...rust? And what about when it's warm and sunny? Doesn't it get awfully hot? I bet it makes you real strong though...} he added in an effort not to sound too critical {You know, carrying around all that heavy plating.}

For the first time since she had met the group, she gave Zachery a genuine smile, that wasn't laced with sarcasm or bitterness. "Being a gentleman isn't all it's cracked up to be. You're much better off just being a run-of-the-mill teenage boy."
Fang laughed from his sanctuary in Maxie's pocket. Where his trainer faced life seriously and bitterly, the little zubat seemed to think the whole world was his playground. Apparently Maxie's words were part of an extremely funny inside joke. He poked his head above the hem, and watched Chupon and Ron with interest.

Some how, the young girl doubted Rai's words, but chose not to investigate further. She had a nose for catching lies - perhaps it was because she was so lucid at the sport herself. She had spent the majority of her life covering herself up, so it really was second nature, even now.
"I guess I was home-schooled too... to a certain extent." Maxie pondered. She had never been to a proper school, but she hadn't exactly been sat down by her 'foster parent' and taught about maths and english, either. She'd been lectured occasionally, mainly on calculations and evaluating data. They had completely forgotton about teaching her about letters, it seemed.

{ooc| I love it, Melissa! Maybe you could use a darker shade of green for the outline next time? I always think a dark outline reinforces the drawing...but when it's a shade that matches the rest of the colouring, it softens it too.}

OOC: Ah, thanks for the comments on my Blossom (the Chikorita, that's her name). Yes, the outline perhaps would look better darker... though I didn't quite put the effort into it like most I do. ^-^ Ah well, next time's the charm!

Now onto posting...

Zachary
============

Chuckling for probably a different reason than Fang's at Maxie's statement, and then nodding as Rai said his, Zachary added lightly, "I agree Maxie, being regular is much better, at least with my experience. I once knew a kid that, er, helped out at my school that was from a very prominent family. He was quite snobby really. Must be one of those 'mannerless' people you were talking about Rai. He didn't act like it, but I think he was really lonely."

Ron frowned at Chupon's question of rust. {You know... my helmet has never rusted. Strange, huh? I mean, I've seen other metal rust, and I've gotten wet plenty before. I don't know. I do get hot in the summer though. Just a little hot because on the inside it's not really metal; it's more like rock. It's just metal on the outside. That's true about the summer though, however I don't get that hot. The people who touch me do and end up getting burnt if they don't watch out. Zachary did last summer, and he's got a nasty scar on the palm of his hand from it. Hey Zack! Show 'em your scar! Show 'em your scar!} Ron demanded, bumping into Zachary's leg.

"What? What is it? Sheesh Ron calm yourself down!" the boy replied, bending down to his pokemon. Ron nudged Zachary's hand and Zachary rolled his eyes.

"Oh not my scar again... you always make me show it; and nobody's impressed!" he said to the little Aron, though he brandished his palm anyway. Along his palm was an ellipse-shaped scar about the size of a golfball. A golfball is a small thing, but comapred to the rest of Zachary's palm it was quite large.

Luka looked unimpressed and made a small noise of disapproval.

{He had to go to the hospital too!} the little pokemon continued, proud of the fact that he could burn someone without the use of a fire attack.

"Can I get back to the human conversation you rudely interrupted me from now?" Zachary asked, taking his hand back. Ron nodded, and so Zachary straightened back up and began listening again to the conversation.

{ooc| Blah... My Mum's forcing me to bed... I had an arguement with my sister over the pc, because she wanted to chat to her friends and I wanted to roleplay. They only live down the road, I don't know why she doesn't just go see them... xP

Anyway: https://draw.pokecommunity.com/pictures/1055.png
I copied LA and drew something!}

Maxie glanced at the scar. "Cool," she exclaimed, "It's shaped like the moon!"
Maxie was the sort of person that wasn't impressed by big achievements; more, the little quirks in life, like a scar that healed strangely.

She paused at the comment. "I don't think you could be rich and lonely... I mean, you could host parties every night and make friends. If you were ugly, you could change your appearence, too. Though... I guess you can't help being mean." Fang coughed loudly at this.
{And you can't hlep bullying innocent bystanders, ne?}

OOC: Ooh, cute Wigglytuff. Like the scenery too. ^^ Hmm...I've actually been thinking of trying my hand at pixel art, namely drawing a Dunsparce. I suppose Finnish class inspired me for once in my life. XD Might post it here if it doesn't turn out completely hideous.

IC:

"You're probably right in that assumption." Rai replied to Zachary, nodding, "And it's true that just being ordinary would have been...I don't know...easier I guess." he frowned, his expression darkening slightly "And I'm afraid it's not quite that simple, Maxie. You see, when you've got rich parents it usually divides the people you meet into two groups; Those who try to suck up to you in hopes of raising their own standing and those who want to throw bricks at you for making them feel inferior." he shrugged, "That was partially why I wanted to travel that much. I thought that if people considered me just another trainer then maybe...maybe I'd get to live a real life, not like Raistlin-who's-parents-are-oh-so-important but just as Raistlin..." he smiled slightly "...or better yet, Rai." he added, falling into silence as he realized what he had just let slip. Granted, it fell within the domain of reasonable doubt, but he would have to watch his speech more carefully if he wanted his surname to remain a secret. Another disturbing thing about the situation was that he had, quite uncharacteristically, gone and vented some of his own frustration onto people he had practically just met. People who would be travelling with him, burdened by his own petty problems, no doubt they'd think of him as nothing more than a spoiled rich kid looking for kicks by defying his parents and 'slumming' as it was called.

{Ohh...} Chupon said, watching with a suitable level of impression as Zachary showed his burnmark. It was obvious that Ron was very proud of this achievement and the Treecko didn't want to sound like he was belittling it so he made a point of cooing accordingly. {Hospital?} he echoed at last, now perhaps more genuinely impressed, {What are they like...you know, hospitals? I've never been to one myself...never except for that one time when-} he quickly shook his head, almost feeling Ashura's accusing stare {Erm, nevermind.} the Treecko added hastily {Anyhow, like I said I haven't been to many. I thought those were places were people only went when they were supposed to...you know...die?}

OOC: Yay! Charon's Wigglytuff is so cute! X3

You shoud draw a Dunsparce Alter. You know, I was thinking of making a banner for my signature featuring a bunch of underused pokemon. I feel so sorry for them. They need some luv too. ;_;

Zachary
==========

{Hospitals are kinda cool and kinda scary. I went to the one near our home a lot because Zack's mom was sick for quite a while last year. She had a really bad cough cold thing. I don't remember the name of it; some sickness. And so I got to see the hospital for a whole week almost. Humans do die there; but they also go there to get medicine and fix things like broken bones and really bad burns like Zachary's,} Ron replied to the Treecko, ignoring the slip up about the little pokemon being in a hospital before.

"Well," said Zachary in his cheerful voice, "No use dwelling on stuff like that! We've got a league to win! So, are we going?" He felt as if a change of subject was in order; this one was obviously to serious for such an exciting occasion, and Rai didn't really look like he wanted to discuss it anymore.

OOC: Sorry 'bout dat, Flissie.

And yeesh, I almost died when I realized how much had been posted, but I really didn't feel like dying again. XD

Ooh, L_A and Charon, both of your drawings are very much cute! ^o^

IC:

Kayley had decided after quite some time, namely, memorizing a melody that had been created in her head, that she would re-enter the conversation. After all, she should at least pay attention to the people that she would no doubt be travelling with. As she really began to listen, she caught Zach's last exclamation, obviously referring to the fact that they had wasted enough time chatting. But..

"The League? Oh no no no, we have to find Maxie's Ralts first, because it wouldn't rock if the League got in the way of her safety." Kayley said, rather sure of herself. Of course, that meant she'd have that song stuck in her head until she got it out..

Fishy had fallen silent during the last few minutes of the conversation, not really feeling like randomly changing the subject anymore. Even the sight of Zachary's burn had not inspired him to do something completely unrelated to the current topic.

Sighing, the Mudkip turned back towards his Trainer, bounding over to her and convering the distance between them in seconds. Then, in a single leap, he hopped onto the black case that Kayley still held in her hands. Once landing, the Mudkip then leaped from there and up onto the girl's shoulder, where he could easily view everything happening within the group.

He decided that he would do something when Ashura got back out of her Pokeball. After all, she was the most fun to annoy out of all the Pokemon the Trainers gathered had. This was especially fun because it wasn't too smart to annoy her directly (not that it was smart to annoy her at all), and called for a well-thought out scheme.

Now, one might think that going through all that just to annoy someone was pointless, but Fishy thought otherwise, thinking that the whole thing was a big, funny game. Oh yes, the Mudkip had reason in his mind, however.. It just wasn't too often that he showed it.

And if she takes too long, then Razzie will have to suffer the consequences.. Fishy thought to himself, grinning as he settled completely onto Kayley's shoulder.

OOc-
Goshness,now its Yibber's turn to be left in the feebas dust.
Darn my human body system,which gets tired easily,plus,must get my beauty/cute sleep!XP

Everyone's slaving in skool?^^
Meh...
Yibber's Finals just ended.Ah,bliss!
*starts thinking of Maths teacher.*
One of the reasons why Maths doesn't appeal to me,even IF its my bestest subject.>_<

And isn't everyone befuzzled about the contents of Sliver's helmet?
Now,now,you'll all find out in due time.
Oh,better stop now.*evil cackle*

Oh,and Charon and Melissi's Chikorita and Wigglytuff are wondeeful!!^^

Ic-
Jena chose to keep quiet after what she said to Zachary.Nodding here as they carried on.Then,Yukari flew over and landed on Rai's arm.

"I'm Jena,nice to meet you,nice helmet you've got."the girl smiled to Sliver as the rest finished their introductions.Choosing not to ask the girl about the helmet,instead,she thought that the helmet looked rather cute.

{Milotics??You want us to show you?}Cascade,who's attention had been grabbed by the new girl's helmet,turned back to Chupon as the trainers took their conversation else where.

{Hm...okay!But only if you promise not to compliment them on their beauty too much.}Cascade nodded his head,still thinking that the game was on.

{They're..narcis..narcisi...narcissisitec?}the Mudkip tried pronouncing the desired word.

{Narcisstic.}Ryne corrected the Mudkip politely.

{Yeah!That's it!!}the mud fish pokemon grinned,as the Treeko continued on about 'hospitals' with Ron.The Mudkip knew what were hospitals,he even went there once.But the pokemon stopped,noticing that a new pokemon had joined them.

The girl took a quick glance at Zach's scar,tilting her head slighty,again not bothering to comment on it,thinking that she'd say something wrong either way.

"Yeah,we've to find Sephy first,that's the main thing right now."Jena agreed with Kayley,this was one topic,which the girl was sure she wouldn't mess up.

{Hi!!I'm Cascade!}the Mudkip walked up new Swablu,who was talking to the others.

{And,my name is Ryne,pleased to meet you...Yukari.}the Ralts smiled to the pokemon,catching his name while conversing with the rest.

OOc-
Yes Melissi,be afraid.
Be VERY afraid.
MUAHAHAHAHHAA!!!!!*hack*
>D

OCC: Yibber... fear meh Chumee.. Level 49.. Mwahahaha.. Meh team shall wipe ya' and Fiona out.... Prepare ta' die!! Die!! Die!!

IC:
"Well.. I suppose you already overheard me introducing myself so I doubt that I have to introduce myself again.. Or do I have to?" Silver questioned Jena feeling pretty frustrated.. "This is pissing me off!!!"..

Apparently, when she left on her own solo journey, she didn't expect to meet so many other trainers of that sort and also had to introduce herself to so many of them.. To most people, introducing themselves to 5 people isn't much.. But for a girl who hardly had any friends during her childhood, Silver definitely wasn't really used to it...

{Me says hi to Cascade.. Me says hi again to Ryne..} Yukari exclaimed.. He was really happy to meet two more new friends.. {Me hopes you'll have a nice day!!} He beamed at Cascade and Ryne..

Miruka just stood behind Silver muttering under his breath.. {Tsk.. This Yukari just talks to anyone she meets.. God knows if they belong to Team Neon..}

Silver suddenly added in... "Ahem.. and the comment about your helmet.. I don't understand what you see in a plain old pink helmet.. You don't have to find just anything to suck up to me just because I'm a gym leader's daughter..."

Right Flissi...right....
*calls out Swampert*
Who laughing now???XD

And,its Neon Knights not Team Neon.
(Goshness..am I being pricky again??>_<
Darn you Titan!!>D)
Ic-

"Uh...no,no,your name's Sliver,you don't need to reintroduce yourself!!"Jena quickly replied,by the tone of Sliver's voice,she didn't sound all too happy at introductions.The last thing the girl wanted to do was make her angry.

{Ooo...Who's that??}Cascade noted that a Bagon had appeared,muttering to himself over something.

{Don't be nosey Cassy.}Ryne told the Mudkip,though she herself was rather interested by the Bagon.

{Hi!!I'm Cascade!!What's your name??}the Mudkip boldly went up to Miruka and smiled.
Ryne slowly shook her head,following after Cascade in a slow and calm fashion.

"Huh?"Jena spun round and stared at Sliver as she added in the comment of her being sucking up.

"You're a gym leader's daughter??"

"Wait..wait..That's not the point here."Jena rubbed her head with one hand,thinking what to say next.

"I....I wasn't sucking up,what I'm saying is true,I'm honestly saying,the helmet looks good!"the girl reasoned.Now,she even had troubles with compliments.

"I'm sorry if I offended you,I was just trying to.."the girl sighed,not knowing how to continue.

Ooc-
And,now Yibber's gotta sleep.X.X
Darn....I'll be left in the RP dust again.>_<
No matter...*cackle*
