Yeah Alter, Zachary seems to have temporarily forgotten that he's in a different kind of Pokemon Center. ^-^;; And the avvie is from a pokemon card picture that I found on the TCG website. I think it's a promo of some sort. *shrug* I haven't kept up with the cards for a while now.

And Yibber, what cute chibis you have drawn! Da cute chubby chibies. ^^

Zachary
===========

At Silver's comment, Zachary blinked in confusion, "Wha...?" was all he managed to get out as Silver stormed off, back outside the Pokemon Center.

"What in the heck was that about? Pfft... girls," Zachary said, ignoring whatever was going on with Silver. Perhaps it was the parent-talk that put her in a bad mood. What was so wrong with Amelia?! He was just being friendly, and she was such a nice girl. What did Silver see that was so bad about her? And furthermore, where did she get off telling him who he could talk to? Zachary's look of confusion turned into something more like annoyance and confusion, and he didn't even notice Nurse Gwendolyn ordering Amelia and the other trainees around like a general.

He finally got to the front of the line though, and held out his two pokeballs. "Uh, could I have my pokemon healed?" he said, suddenly realizing that this was Nurse Gwendolyn. She was pretty scary when she was under pressure for healing large amounts of pokemon.

OOC:

*feels like posting an IC here before she does in Ancient Dynasty*

I could go for marketing chibi versions of our creations. XD

They be cute, Yibber. ^-^

{Heehee, little wormy is per.. per.. Persismont?} Kinaki said, beginning in laughter, but switching to an expression of plain confusion towards the end of her statement. She pondered about whether she had gotten the word right, silently, before looking back down at Orjen.

{What will we converse about?} She continued, wanting to get her mind off of the big word. She had come to the conclusion a while ago that they were waiting for the clumsy boy to come back out of the red house, so she had no problem sitting there and talking to the persismont Wurmple.

"Hmm, I don't think I'll be going inside at the moment." Kayley said aloud, directing her speech to the group in general but deciding not to follow up with an actual piece of conversation. She was trapped in her memories at the moment, with no Mud Fish to shake her completely out of it. Once he woke up it would be a different story.

OOc-

Like, thankies dudes!^^
Chibi Showgan Chars like, so own.XD

Marketing them would own even more.X3

{She speaks!!!!!!}upon hearing Kinaki's response, Orjen jumped up and down from excitement. The Wurmple twirled round in a small circle before getting rather dizzy and falling onto the ground.

{My name, for what I am called by, what is me, is Orjen! Nice to meet you metal-jawed person!}the Bug type immediately shook himself out of his daze, getting up to greet the Mawile in a more formal way. He had yet to know her name, hopefully she wouldn't start ignoring him again. {And, what is your name?}the Wurmple brought up the question just in case.

"Eh, course' I need to apologise."Jena said firmly on Silver's statement, secretly bouncing around with joy that the girl hadn't start snapping at anyone of them. What she had been taught was remembered. 'If one was to cause trouble or bring up bad things to happen, they had to apologise, for that was the right thing to do, lest ones mind and spirit get poisoned by bad karma.' Dang, there went Master Kendra's old sayings again. The Coordinator had been hanging out with that old man for way too long.

OOC: Yeees...I propose that we corner the global plush doll market with the Chibi Showgan character series! ^0^ (Each doll is sold separately with a standard, non-negotiable, 'Whatever-happened-is-your-own-bloody-fault-and-we're-not-paying' varanty.)

Lol, I could be Public Relations. xD

Anyways, Rai doesn't really have much to comment on at the moment, sooo...

IC:

"Well that's what this place was built for, you know." Gwendolyn replied to Zachary's question, quickly picking up the two pok?balls and shoving them over to the nearest trainee who quickly scampered off into the back room, "Your pok?mon will be healed in a matter of minutes." she stated, "Go sitt on one of those chairs while you wait." she nodded towards one of the many chair clusters in building, this one currently only being occupied by a fairly young-looking girl with shoulder-length, light brown hair who looked quite strikingly like a bug catcher with her white shirt, blue shorts, and the rather large, yellowish-brown hat with the little blue stripe running around it that she wore on her head. She was currently sitting there in silence and staring at her feet while the trainer next to her, this one a rather eccentric-looking boy with short, light purple, hair, dressed in a peculiar outfit that was slightly reminscent of a teal bath robe held together by a yellow shash was sitting on his chair, or rather, hovering in lotus position just a few centimeters above it, his sandals nearly falling off and his eyes shut in concentration while he mumbled something for himself. The exact nature of his words was hard to discern, but it was obvious that he wasn't pleased.

"Oh, and don't break any of them this time." Gwendolyn added to Zachary, already remembering the boy and what he tended to cause to the interior, as she ushered him out of the way to make room for the next person in queue.

Tha's a great idea, Titan. First the easily influenced minds of young children, then, THE WURLD!!!MWAHAHAH!!!!>DD

We shall install little bittle mind-control chips into the plushie's heads and then start distributing them worldwide. First, we'll hit..um..the North Pole! Then slowly work our way up to the South pole, then Canada and Greenland and then the rest of the wurld!!!^0^
Oh yeah, I could be the Marketing Manager scratch that, Charon's taken the post.XD
I shall be the Chairperson of the evil organisation!!XD

Guess I could squeeze and IC here..

Orjen started pulling a long face once more as Kinaki had once again, ignored him. Failed to notice him. Bashed him aside like what the family had did to him back at his ol' forest. Either that, or the Mawile was pulling his many legs and that he was being far too impatient. The Wurmple decided to go for deduction number two for obvious reasons, then, deciding to sit down and wait PATIENTLY for Kinaki to reply to his earlier asked question. The Wurmple started humming to himself, twiddling his white hands together.

D'aw great, now the Bug type had got himself stuck on feeling sad about his old home. It may not have been a heaven for bug pokemon to eat and safety was comfirmed, but atleast they could run around freely with no care in the world whatsoever. Well, after they came. Orjen felt a tingle run up and down his spine for a moment, letting it go before continuing to try and hum the unwanted thoughts away.

"Eh. So...you aren't going to snap at anybody now, right?"Jena asked in an insecure fashion, taking note to inch back a few steps just incase Silver would start getting angry.

Showgan dolls,
They're so cool,
buy them now,
or be a fool!

Ho hum, I'm a poet and I didn't know it.
Alter, don't you mean 'don't break any'? OMG, that's like, your first ever grammatical mistake/typo I've noticed.}

Maxie yawned and kicked off her shoes. Underneath, her socks were bright pink with dainty little flowers on. A peculiar choice for a criminal, but Maxie didn't seem to mind.
Fang, meanwhile, was rabbiting cheerfully away in her ear about something in his normal confusing screeches.
{C'mooon! Let's hurry!}
"Yes, okay..." Maxie muttered. "I get the picture."
{Hurryyyy!}

~~~~~
The Nurse, whose name was Lara, jumped to attention at Gwendolyn's snapping. "Yes ma'am!" she gasped, and began busying herself with sorting the magazines. One eye, however, was still on Fang. He was now flying in a circle around the girl's head, which made Lara's suspicions even more stupid. She shook her head irratably. I'm just being stupid. That zubat is fine.
{EDIT: Yibber, you should be the company president and order everyone else around!
Our production team... eh, all those non-special people not in our roleplay can make the dolls. Yeah.}
On a random note, in Band class we're learning how to play this.
It's actually longer than that but whatever.
Kinaki was still perplexed about whether or not she had gotten the big word right, when she realized how she had up and forgotten that she was supposed to be responding to the persismont Wurmple. What was his name now? She was slipping into forgetfulness again..
{Oh yes! Wormy-ple wanted to know the name of Kinaki! Well, that's what it is!} The Mawile suddenly exclaimed, beaming as she turned back towards Orjen. It was no problem, she restarted conversations that way all the time.
That's when Kayley finally noticed that Kinaki had been sticking around behind her the whole time, hearing the Mawile's voice and instantly turning around to lay eyes on the Steel-type herself, Fishy still snoozing away in her arms.
"Wha-?" Kayley began, although she cut herself off as soon as she had done so. Shaking her head, the Trainer turned back towards the Pokemon Center, hoping that Zach would come back out soon so they could all continue on their way.. And hopefully that Mawile would go home soon. Her mother must be worried sick, eh?
OOC: Dunno why it took me so long to reply in here. XD Catchy slogan Charon! I wanna buy one already so I don't look like a fool! ^-^ We can make accessory poke-dolls to go with them too. And if you buy them in a group, you get free Nurse Gwendolyn, Amelia, and Valen dolls as a bonus! XD
Oh the money we'd make...!
And interesting music Plushie... my hat's off to you, I certainly wouldn't be able to play it. o.o
Zachary
============
"Oh okay," Zachary said in his usual voice, though it was followed by another "Oh... okay...," that sounded less enthusiastic considering Gwendolyn had just reminded him of the chair incident. Frowning slightly, Zachary went to sit down next to the two others that Gwendolyn had indicated, and found himself staring at the boy.
The boy seemed to be floating a little in his seat, and Zachary had never seen anyone do that before. You never walked into a coffee shop and saw people floating in their seats. The girl next to him was kinda cute in Zachary's opinion, and he could actually feel the clumsiness gathering up in his body. He tried concentrating, maybe if he just thought every movement and word through, he wouldn't screw it up.
He looked at the girl and nodded his head to the flolating boy, "What's he doing anyway? Trying to train his mind or somethin'?" Zachary never understood such things, he was certainly not strong in the way of psychic abilities.
OOC: Oh yes! Side-character dolls as an added bonus! You can be product development, Melissa. ^-^ Anyways...yeah, let the clueless masses become our grunts, nyuk, nyuk, they'll never know what hit them! >=-D
IC:
As Zachary adressed her, the bug catcher-girl looked up, apparently noticing the newcomer for the first time, her dark green eyes looking slightly reddened, a clear indication that she had been crying recently.
"Oh, him?" she asked in as steady a voice as she could manage, nodding towards the psychic, who either didn't notice them at all or put quite the effort into not showing that he did, maintaining his focused expression and mumbling, "I'm not quite sure, actually." she confessed, "I think he's psyching himself up for his rematch. He's going to try again, you know..." she continued, casting a slightly dissaproving glance at the boy floating over his seat, "...even though he barely lasted for five minutes against that leader guy."
At the girl's last statement the psychic's expression betrayed a hint of irritation and his mumbling became marginally louder, sounding roughly like "Idonotrelyonluck andwillnotlettheluckofmyopponent swaymefrommypath"
"I'm not making the same mistake, though." the bug catcher finished, ignoring the psychic's words and shaking her head rather vigorously, "It's not worth it..."
OOC: Random trainers are actually pretty fun to do. ^-^ Hmm...might make them into actual characters some day...*Plans*yess...not impossible at all.
Zachary
============
"O-Oh...," Zachary replied, noticing the girl's eyes. It was obvious she had been crying, and Zachary couldn't help but feel bad for her. "Are you okay? You look like you've been crying.... For what it's worth, I'm too chicken to even try to beat the gym leader, so you're already braver than me!" he said, leaning his weight onto his elbow that was resting on the arm of the chair. He smiled at the girl, but as soon as he did a cracking sound was heard and the arm of the chair gave away, causing Zachary to topple onto the poor girl.
"AH! Uh... sorry about that!" he said as his face tinged pink from his overt clumsiness, "The... the chair just... broke!" How did these things happen to him?! Here he was talking to a girl that had just been crying and he topples into her looking like some kind of idiot. He tried to piece the arm back on, but it looked pretty hopeless, and Nurse Gwendolyn would surely notice soon.
Maxie slammed her feet on the ground, and peered through the window of the pokemon centre. Seeing Zachary sprawled on top of a girl, Maxie couldn't help but grin; when would that boy learn?
She turned to Fang. "Well, this is dumb."
Fang stuck his tongue out. {Your face is dumb.}
"Fang, you're a turd."
{Your face is a turd!}
The zubat giggled, and hid his face with a wing.
Maxie's face soured. Fang occasionally got in stupid moods where whatever you said would be followed by a retort of 'your face is---'.
{I actually have a friend who does this.}
OOC: Yeah, and erasers! Don't forget about erasers! xD Oh, and happy 1000th post, Melissa! ^0^ It took you a while but you've made it! ^-^
And gawd, Zachary sure is a magnet for trouble. Ahh...imagine Silver walking in at that moment. xD
IC:
The bug catcher looked slightly encouraged by Zachary's words, looking up a bit again, but before she could formulate any kind of answer, the boy had already toppled over her, and she did what any respectable lady would do when a member of the opposite gender suddenly lunges at her, delivering an instinctive slap to the boy's face and quickly recoiling, her face a very deep shade of red as she attempted to gather herself, "I-I'm sorry too..." she managed to mutter, realizing that it had been an accident but also that it wasn't very easy to warp back into time and undo the slapping motion, "...about the slap, um...you're...putting that thing on the wrong way, I think." she managed to add after a while, still utterly embarassed by the whole incident as more or less everyone in the pok?mon center had now turned their attention to the scene, the psychic loosing his focus with all the ruckus surrounding him and falling rather painfully down on his chair, getting up and casting a practically murderous glare at Zachary. Before anyone else could speak up, however, the ominous sound of nurse Gwendolyn's footsteps against the tiled floor had already become audible, soon followed by the woman herself, and her expression certainly didn't turn any more cheerfull as she noticed who was responsible for it.
"You..." she hissed through gritted teeth, giving the boy her trademark deathstare, "Take your pok?mon and get out before...I...hurt...you..." she turned around sharply on her heel, "Trainee Amelia! The Aron and the Zigzagoon! Now!"
The trainee, who had incidentally been on her way towards that particular cluster of chairs when the incident occured, simply stood there however, staring at Zachary with a hurt and dissapointed expression on her face.
"Trainee Amelia..." the nurse repeated.
"I heard you the first time, nurse...Gwendolyn!" the girl replied, raising her voice in an uncharacteristically angry manner and casting a glare of her own at Gwendolyn "And for your information that was exactly what I had in mind!" she stamped her foot hard against the floor, creating a noise nearly as impressive as those Gwendolyn could conjure, and strode off into the back room, soon returning with a pair of pok?balls which she unceremoniously shoved into Zachary's hands, not giving the boy as much as a glance before she turned to Gwendolyn again, "And furthermore..." she added before the nurse could start out again, "I've had enough of being picked on by you! I quit!" she slammed her notepad hard onto the floor by the nurse's feet before turning around with all the pride of a woman severly offended and striding out of the pok?mon center with her head held high, Kuro scampering after her as quickly as he could while the rest of the crowd stared in silence, even Gwendolyn seemed to be at a loss for words at the moment, although that was soon remedied;
"Well?!" she snapped at the crowd, beginning to regain her fire "Do you want your pok?mon healed or not?! Disperse! And your pok?mon are healed too..." she added to the bug catcher and the psychic, gesturing them to follow, "Follow me."
The psychic was quick to pick up on the queue, brushing of the dust from his clothes in an attempt to maintain as much of his dignity as he could as he strode after the woman, merely casting a 'smooth move, looser' type expression at him. The bug catcher looked like she had wanted to say something encouraging to Zachary but seemed to be at a loss for words, merely giving him a pitying look before following Gwendolyn as well, her face still considerably red.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, Rai had been observing the entrance of the pok?mon center and particularly the sudden burst of screaming and other noises that had erupted from within with a worried frown on his face. The boy was just about to enter in order to investigate when Amelia suddenly burst out of the building, nearly slamming the pok?mon center door into Rai's face.
"Amelia? Wha-?" the boy began, but was immediately silenced by a fierce glare and a reply that sounded more like a growl from the girl.
"Out of my way!" she snapped, Kuro clinging to her leg while at the same time looking terrified by this new side in his trainer, "I don't want to have anything to do with you or that-that Zachary boy ever again!"
Before Rai had the time to respond to any of this, the trainee had already shoved him aside in a very blunt manner, running of into the streets and soon dissapearing from view.
"What...was that all about?" Rai asked after a while, turning to his companions in the hope that they would somehow have caught onto something that he hadn't.
{ooc| Yay, well done, Melissa!
If you make erasers then we need to make pencils... FU FU FU....}
Grabbing Fang by his tails, Maxie strode over to Rai's side. While her zubat fidgeted in her grasp, she turned to Rai. "I think... Zach could do with some help. He just broke her heart." she told the blonde boy, and nodded her head in Amelia's direction. "I'll go after the girl... just...make sure Zach doesn't embaress himself further. C'mon, Fang!"
She broke into a run and darted off in the direction Amelia had gone. Fang broke free of her grasp and glided alongside her, screeching cheerfully. How he loved chasing things!
Maxie headed through the streets after the girl, Fang fluttering ahead. In his excitement, he looked like an overlarge butterfly; he hovered here and there in front of his trainer, giving directions. He could still hear her footsteps, several streets ahead.
The girl cupped her hands to her mouth. "AMELIA~!" She yelled, and Fang flinched. "Amelia, come back! Lemme talk to you!"
If Fang had possessed eyes, he would have rolled them. Maxie certainly sounded vicious when she shouted. Why is she so eager to find this girl anyway? Fang couldn't help wondering. The little zubat wasn't the cleverest creature around, and Maxie's out-of-character behaviour really had him confused. Normally she saw pretty girls as her enemies; normally Maxie would do anything to spite them, even trip them up in the street if it made them look even remotely stupid. She envied them, and despised them; Maxie's own haggard appearence made her jealous of everything. This much, Fang could understand. What was with this sudden change?
OOC: Oh boy... Zachary's having a bad day. XD Good thing Ron'll be there to help him.
Yeah! Erasers and pencils! I used to collect pencils when I was little. ^-^ Dunno what happened to them all though. I guess I used them up. o.o
And I can't believe how long it took me to get to 1,000 posts either.... I'm slow. ^^;
Zachary
============
The slap wouldn't have been so bad, if it wasn't for the fact that it happened to be on the same place as Raven's slap had been. Slaps really smart, especially when they're one on top of the other. Zachary didn't mind though, it was to be expected, and the girl didn't look too mad at him after his apology. Why did it have to happen to him? The arm wouldn't have given away to just anyone sitting there... it was him, he was like a walking jinx.
When Nurse Gwendolyn came in with a look to kill, Zachary was prepared. He knew this moment was coming, and he had known it was coming since he walked into the building. It was inevitable, and it was as bad as he figured it would be. He nodded as she spoke, not really listening to the words, but knowing what she was saying. He stood up, about ready to recieve his pokemon, when Gwendolyn called to Amelia.
This, Zachary was not preapred for however, and as he looked at the hurt expression on the girl's face he merely stood there stunned into silence. 'Why?! Why'd she have to see me?! he yelled at himself, 'You great lump! Look what you've done know!' "I... I...," he stuttered, wanting to say something smart and encouraging, but coming up with his usual blank.
Amelia had returned his pokeballs to him, albeit not very kindly, and Zachary stood in silence some more as the girl proceeded to quit her job. 'Oh great! Now I've made her quit...! I'm so stupid...,' he thought to himself, feeling very much like a jerk. Though the quitting wasn't truly his fault, who would honestly want to work for that woman, Zachary still felt responsible.
The nurse didn't look too happy about any of this, and no doubt would probably kill Zachary with more than just a look if he didn't turn tail and race out of there quickly. The boy did so without hesitation, and stopped just outside the door, tossing his older pokeball to the ground, and avoiding eye contact with his friends, one of which was running quickly down the street.
In a flash of white light, Ron's small, metallic form took shape, and when the light subsided, he looked up at Zachary with a frown.
{What in the heck happened?} he asked, figuring the boy must have done something by way of clumsiness to look this sad.
Jena had taken to stooping on the ground, standing around for sometime had to get one's legs rather tired. The girl rested her cheek on her right hand, glancing around to make sure all her pokemon were in check. There was Orjen, making friends with the Mawile who seemed to find it enjoyable to follow Fishy around. Ryne and Cascade were minding there own business, playing with the stray rocks around them. Then, there was the sleeping Tailow on her shoulder which the girl had only just noticed. When was it exactly going to start flying off? Either that or her parents were near, such a young one and yet it was already out on its own. Jena gave Tania a soft pat on the head, noting that this Flying type was a cute one.
{Hello, Kinaki! I am a Wurmple, a Bug type, a Bug Pokemon. Not a 'wormy-ple'.}Orjen smiled at the Mawile's awaited response, sensing a need to correct the Steel type incase she made anymore mistakes.
Jena looked up from Tania at the sudden sounds coming from the Pokemon Center. First she heard some lady shouting, then another one(she sounded younger than the first). This was followed by Amelia bursting out of the Pokemon Center with an unfamiliar look on her face, the girl had never seen the trainee angry before. She pushed Rai aside stating that she didn't want anything to do with Zachary or them.
"Eh...?"the Coordinator was taken by surprise as much as the others were, though Maxie had already decided to run off after Amelia. Cascade and Ryne were already looking up from their rocks, the Mudkip being one who was shivering from the change in the trainee's attitude.
"Are you okay? Is Amelia okay, Maxie mentioned something about Zach?"the girl had gotten up from her position on near the ground, turning to Rai, before noticing that Zachary was out of the Pokemon Center, in an angry mood himself. Avoiding her(and well, everyone else's) gaze, he released Ron from his pokeball.
"Eh? Zach? What's wrong?"Jena asked, this was all too confusing for the girl to handle on her own. Not to mention Maxie and Amelia, this was getting her worried again. The Tailow on her shoulder began to rouse from her nap as well, all the noise was too much for her.
{Sacre' blu! What happened ere'?!}Tania opened one eye before letting out a squeak.
Showgan merchandise! We should make backpacks and book covers and markers and posters and everything~! =D
And whee~! I found another music file thing!
This is a song that my Band class has played before. We didn't exactly sound as PERFECT as the clip, but yeah. XD
It ish called 'Kilauea: The Volcano's Fury', and is supposed to represent the peacefulness of the volcanic area before eruption, and then builds into representation of the furious eruption itself. 'Tis kewl. :3
{Yes you are a wormy-ple! Kinaki knows!} Kinaki immediately responded to Orjen, completely disregarding his correction. She opened her mouth to say something further, but swiftly decided not to when raised voices began making themselves heard from within the Pokemon Center.
Kayley turned her attention towards the center as well, raising an eyebrow. She didn't dare ask what all the ruckus was about.. She was certain that she wouldn't like finding out anyways. She didn't have to contemplate any further--After only a few more moments, the Pokemon Center's door flew open, nearly smashing Rai in the process, and Amelia stormed out shortly afterwards.
"Amelia? Wha?" Kayley asked, although too soft for anyone to really hear her. She stood by as the Trainee stomped off, Kuro at her heels, causing Maxie to follow shortly afterwards.
{Yo, keep it down..} Fishy muttered, tossing and turning in Kayley's arms as the noise finally got to him. {This dream is far too nice to end.} The Mud Fish said nothing further, attempting to fall back asleep and totally missing the more serious part of the situation.
His Trainer, said nothing, watching as Zach came out of the Pokemon Center, standing where Amelia had been a few moments before and releasing Ron from his Pokeball.
"Yes, Zach, would you mind shedding some light on this?" Kayley said, after Jena had stepped forward to question the boy first. Something was seriously whacked about the situation..
OOC: And the Showgan story retold in manga format, there just has to be one of those too. xD Oh, and stickers and calendars and stuff! ^^
But yeah, poor Zachary really doesn't have it easy...dang, I'm actually feeling sorry for the guy right now. And don't think of your posting as slow, just...well thought out. ^-^
IC:
"I will. No worries." Rai replied to Maxie's comment before the girl set off after Amelia, although he couldn't help wondering about the sudden change that had come over the girl, seeing as how she had practically looked ready to tear Amelia to shreds the last time the two ladies met. Still, the boy had other things to worry about at the moment, turning around as Zachary left the pok?mon center with a truly devastated expression on his face, immediately releasing Ron from his pok?ball and avoiding making eye contact with anyone.
"Oh, I'm allright." Rai replied to Jena's inqury giving her a small smile, she certainly was a compasionate person, he gave her that, "It's not me you should worry about." the boy concluded, shaking his head and turning his attention to Zachary but finding himself at a loss about what to say. He wanted to do say something, do something to make his friend feel better, and of course he wanted to know what had just happened, but something told him that the inquiring way that Jena and Kayley had taken up was definitely the wrong approach.
"You guys..." Rai said quietly, adressing the two girls, "He's just been through quite a lot. Give them some privacy, eh?" he nodded towards Zachary and Ron before taking a respectfull distance from the two while at the same time trying to gesture for Jena and Kayley to do the same, feeling that, at the moment, Zachary needed to speak with someone who really knew him, and that having others around would only make matters worse.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Maxie called out to her, Amelia finally stopped her dash, whipping around furiously, her eyes narrowing as she recognized the girl who was following her.
"Why?!" she inquired shrilly, her voice quievring with a mixture of rage and sadness, the trainee obviously struggling to keep herself from crying in the middle of a street, "Did you want to mock me some more?! Twist the knife in the wound a bit?! Rubb my foolishness in a little?! Yes, let's all pick on the stupid, guillable trainee! Good clean fun for everyone! Right?!"
{ooc| Slow and steady wins the race...
lol, yeah, it might help if we actually made this into a manga before we started merchandising. Right now the only people that would buy this stuff is us ^^;
Cool song, Plush! Currently at orchestra...we're playing nothing! Because I only bother going to the practise just before the concerts... they're such a waste of time, most of the time people are just tuning their cellos and whatnot. Because I'm playing the piano there isn't any preparation to do, so I waste asbout three hours just sitting around waiting. Most of my pieces are solo anyway...eh...}
Maxie's lips curled back in their characteristic snarl as Amelia turned to face her. Maxie glared at her darkly, and resisted the urge to slap the foolish little girl across the face. Her words though - Maxie heard the sadness through the rage, and she felt herself soften. She grabbed Amelia roughly by the shoulders.
"Now you listen to me!" she hissed.
{Yeah, listen to us!} Fang echoed.
"You're stupid, and you're gullible, and quite frankly...." she trailed off. "Quite frankly, I can't watch you tear your life apart like this..." Maxie sighed, and let go of Amelia. She took a step backwards, and wiped her brow with her glove. Since when did I become so concerned? she thought irratably. Amelia... Amelia was about to make a dire, dire mistake. I'm not doing the nice thing, I'm doing the right thing, she told herself stubbornly.
"Zachary.... Zachary is the clumsiest guy I have EVER met. If you were in a room with him and nothing but a glass of water, he'd find some way to embarress himself. It's 'cause he likes you. He gets all flustered and clumsy." she paused for a moment, and smiled. "He's also really nice, sweet as apple pie... and he completely adores you. Seriousy. I saw what happened and it was an accident. Zachary wants...you..." Maxie trailed off, and stared at her grubby trainers.
OOC: Manga! XD It can be a group-effort manga! That would take forever to make by the way. ^-^
The song's cool Plushie! It's really neat and I like the theme behind it. Volcanoes are awesome! (Unless they errupt and destroy your house; that's bad.)
Yeah Alter, poor Zachary. We'll have to give Rai some girl troubles sometime to even it out. XD
OMG! Maxie's caring... the world is coming to and END! >.<
As Jena and Kayley both expressed their concern about what was going on, Zachary didn't really feel like he wanted to explain it all. He wasn't exactly sure he wanted to relay every moment of his embarrassment to them yet. Ron on the other hand was someone who already knew his extremely clumsy moments, and though this was one of the worse, he was certain he hadn't outdone a particular nasty incident from a half a year ago. So when Rai asked the others to allow Zachary some alone time with Ron, he was quite relieved.
The boy looked down at his pokemon. Ron folded his stubby arms while standing on his hind legs. {Oh will you just spill it already! I'm not going to hate you for what you did!} he said irritably. The little Aron hated it when Zachary built these things up in his mind.
"Oh... Ron I hate myself sometimes. Why do I have to be so clumsy? Am I not confident enough or something?" the boy asked.
{What are you talking about? You have lots of confidence, you just... have always been this way. At least to me. You should ask your mother about it when you talk to her next time. Don't hate yourself Zack! That's just pitiful. You're a nice guy and you don't deserve such harsh treatment from yourself!} the Aron said sternly, hoping he would get through to him, {Now what actually happened?}
"Well, I broke a chair," Zachary said plainly, waiting to say the next parts.
{So? You're really that afraid of Nurse Gwennie?} Ron said, raising an eyebrow.
"No! I'm not! You see... the chair next to me had a girl in it," he continued, feeling a little nervous.
{Huh... oh! I see. So you fell on a girl again. What's the big deal about that? You've done that lots of times before too. That's what the girls back home used to make fun of you about.}
"Thanks for bringing that to mind Ron," Zachary said, eyeing his pokemon, "So Nurse Gwendolyn got all mad at me... and... so did Amelia."
Ron unfolded his arms, {Aw gee Zack, Amelia saw you stick your upper torso all over a girl? No wonder you look the way you do. Where'd she go? Is she still in the Pokemon Center?}
"She went... someway," he looked around feebly, "That way? I dunno... Maxie followed her."
{Maxie?! This is a strange day indeed. Well, maybe the bat-girl is actually going to help you for once. Whatever the case, I'm sure it'll end up okay Zack. You just need to explain what happened. If she doesn't believe you... well, there's always other girls,} Ron said shrugging a bit.
"No! I mean... I don't know...," Zachary replied, not really sure what to say. Ron was right, he could just explain himself. After all, it was fairly obvious how clumsy he was, and you could probably tell he was sorry just by looking at him-- he never was very good about concealing his emotions. But that didn't mean that an angry girl would believe him. He wondered to himself... what exactly was Maxie telling her if she had indeed caught up with her?
Ron began to walk over to the others, {Come on Zack, have a go at telling your friends, will ya? It always helps you feel better.}
"Okay...," Zachary said dejectedly, walking over to them as well, "Hey guys. You probably heard some of what we were talking about, I mean, you weren't too far away from me. So... to sum it up; I broke a chair as I was talking to a girl I was sitting next to, and fell on her as Nurse Gwendolyn and Amelia were in my vicinity. Gwendolyn threw me out because of the chair, and Amelia wasn't too happy... and then she yelled at Gwendolyn that she quit and stormed out, as you probably saw." He looked up at the others, his eyes finally looking up at the each of them.
OOC: Yeah! Yay group effort! Meaning that you artistically talented guys do all the drawing while I sitt on the sidelines and try to think up fancy dialouge while at the same time lamenting that you're not leaving enough space for it. xD
As for Plushie's song...I can't listen to it! ;__; It's in some strange format that my music players can't handle (ram? Whoever puts music files in 'ram' format?). No fair! >.<
And don't worry about Rai's girl trouble...I've got a plan. ^.~ *Cackles evilly* Yeees...there will be some quite...unusual girl trouble to come. >D
IC:
At Maxie's words, Amelia was, at first, not sure whether to feel insulted or gratefull, deciding to stay quiet instead and listen to what she had to say. As the girl in front of her went on, the trainee began to see her own mistake more and more clearly, and it wasn't exactly a pretty sight.
"So he...he wasn't...with that...other girl?" she managed to ask at last, "But...I-I thought...I..." she fell silent, biting her lip and not having a clue of what she should do. Screaming and walking out on Gwendolyn had seemed the right thing to at the moment, but in retrospect, it seemed liked a far less smart decision. And to top it all, Zachary's behaviour, the very reason for her to snap like that...had been her own misinterpretation? But then again, suggested a vicious little voice from the back of her mind, what if Maxie was just making the whole thing up to make the trainee walk over to Zachary and embarass her self even more? Yes, she had certainly been keen to take a stab at her before, why the sudden kindness? But..., she came to think as she looked at Maxie again, she doesn't seem to be lying...maybe-maybe I have her pegged wrong? Amelia felt even more stupid than before, and had human beings indeed been capable of sinking through the ground then she would surely have done so right about now. But instead, both she and Maxie just stood there and admired their respective footwear for a moment before, at last, Amelia decided to break the silence.
"Umm...Maxie?" she began rather timidly, clearing her throat a bit before continuing, "Thanks...for everything you said, really. It means a lot..." she managed a bit of a smile, "And...I'm sorry if this sounds rude but...you were about the last person I was expecting to want to help me. Do you-do you think I should...try to talk with him then?" she asked at last, uncertainity clearly expressed in her voice.
As Zachary proceed to speak with Ron, Rai put quite the effort into not hearing a word of the conversation, focusing his attention on anything he could see and hear except for the boy and his Aron; the soft melody of the river running across the town, its sparkling surface still visible even from this distance, the river he had let Tenari into...the sounds of a mother scolding her son about eating too many crackers booming out into the steets from a window of one of the nearby houses, the Vulpix, Kaika, still nestled in his arms and now peacefully snoozing away, each of his puffy little tails curled up over his head, the Tailow perched on Jena's shoulder, obviously curious about the ruckus, Jena herself...looking at her like this, Rai couldn't help thinking that she really was quite beautiful with her long black hair and blue eyes...and unlike most of the girl's the boy had met, there was something worthwhile beyond her exterior as well, even though she seemed to be doing her best to downplay it for some reason...yes, the reason...Rai found himself even more curious than before about what secret Jena was hiding, but how to find out without risking to alienate the girl?
Just as he was processing these thoughts, Rai suddenly became aware that Zachary had now turned to adress them rather than his Aron, relating the short version of his little escapade.
"That's...terrible, Zach." the boy said after a pause, unable to find any more suitable words, "Poor Amelia...she must think..." the boy cut his sentence short, after all, everyone had probably come to exactly the same conclusion about what Amelia was thinking as he had, "Zach, you have to go talk to her." Rai said in a firm voice, "Tell her your side of the story, she's a nice girl, I'm sure she'll understand if you just explain. I mean, you can't help having bad luck, can you? And I'm sure Gwendolyn can be reasoned with too..." he added, although his voice sounded far less convinced about this "We just need to let her cool off a bit."
