Jena let out a sigh of relief, atleast they took the story without questioning it or anything. That was, until Maxie asked her about whether she owned a type of dog pokemon, since rearers were supposed to use them as helpers to herd Mareep and other cattle-like pokemon. The girl immediately sweatdropped, thinking hard.

"Eh! Yes! Well, we use...Cascade over here!"Jena let her arms wave in the air for a second, before hastening to snatch the tiny Mudkip from the forest floor.

"Sure, he looks small. But can the guy do some amazing stuff with the right persuasion and when he wants too..Ryne helped too!"she playfully poked the mudfish, before pausing so that the trainers could let it seep into their brains.

The Water type giggled before blinking in confusion.{What? Did I do something? I did,yes?}he looked around and up to his own trainer for an answer, though Jena just continued smiling. The Ralts still strolling along with the group merely shook her head disapprovingly. Mostly everything that girl had done since the begining of this trip was getting out of hand...or something. Whatever, all the Psychic type knew was that Madam wasn't going to be happy about this one bit. To think that she had encouraged her into going onto this journey in the first place.

"Course' we do have a small Growlithe at home. Loyal thing she is. But age's catching up to her and now she isn't one of those who gets out often. Papa's Hitmontop however, it takes care of everything!"she added, allowing Cascade to jump out of her arms and onto the ground again.

{Gah!!! I am, me, Orjen, is talking to you funny, ignoring person with the metal jaws and extra mouth!!}the Wurmple was getting rather fustrated waving his white arms franticly to attract Kinaki's attention. If it was going to take him the whole day, so be it.

"I third that! Eh, I was my mom was more like yours Zach!"the Coordinator nodded, just listening to the boy was already enough to make her envious. Compared to Zhena, Zachary's mother sounded great. Of course, nobody could replace that blackbelt woman in her heart. Still, Jena hoped that Zhena would act her normal self again, like when she was younger. Just one more time. She missed her old mother, yes she did. The girl snapped out of her thoughts as Maxie pulled out a picture of her real mother. She was indeed beautiful, one of the prettiest the Coordinator had seen.

"You look like your mother." she said simply, before taking a step back so that the others could get a better look on Maxie's mother.

"She's very pretty. One of the prettiest. I agree with Rai too, since we're travelling, it wouldn't be much of a bother to look for her know, would it? She'll be happy to see you!"Jena placed one hand on her hip, the other, its finger wagging at Maxie.

OOC: *dies* Would've posted yesterday, but one of my favorite movies was on during the only time I could post. Anyway, hope the writer's block goes away soon Alter. I hate that. It's really annoying feeling like everything you write is crummy.

Zachary
===========

Maxie held out the picture of her mother and showed them all. She was right, her mother was very pretty, and Zachary felt bad that Maxie had never gotten to know her. He loved his mother so much, he couldn't imagine what life would have been like without her there. He probably would've ended up like Ron's previous owner.

"Yeah, I agree, definitely pretty," Zachary said softly, "She looks like a good person."

Zachary then went back to thinking about Rai's question. This was not an unexpected question, after talking about his mother so much, but the boy really didn't want to think about it too much. Should he talk about his father? He really didn't want to, but not talking about him was too cowardly for Zachary. It was like his father had some kind of hold on him when he felt this way; like his father was still making him keep secrets. He looked up at Rai with a serious face, something he rarely put on, and paused for another moment, then spoke.

"My father...," he said, in a tone that wasn't angry, just serious, "Had a lot of problems. He wasn't as nice as my mother. It doesn't really matter anymore, he left us a long time ago, and we haven't seen him for seven years. My Mom loved him, and I will never understand why, but he was never nice to her. He wouldn't get drunk or do drugs or anything like that, he was just a mean guy. He would like to watch us look scared at him while he yelled, you know, and he would throw things sometimes for no real reason."

He smiled a bit, "Eh, I don't really like thinking about it. He wasn't someone I ever looked up to, nor I ever want to be like, so...." He shrugged, not really sure what else to say. He suddenly felt a little worried about how they would react to this. It was a well-known fact that children who live in homes with abusive parents usually end up becoming abusive themselves. Especially if they're the same sex as the parent who was abusive. Zachary had always been afraid that this would happen to him, he didn't want it to, and he wasn't anything like his father, but there was always that fear.

He barely remembered his father, as the last time he saw him was when he was six, but the memories and fear were still there. It was something that would always come up in his mind every once in a while.

{ooc| It better have been an excellent movie, young lady. ??; Making us wait. Right now I'm so behind on all of my Art homework, but I've got terrible art block and all of my normal painting/drawing skills have left me. Gah. I'm finding it really hard to sit down right now and get to work. Every time I pick up a pencil I seem to end up wandering off and playing a game instead.}

The girl nodded at Jean's explanation. "I get it. But... on TV... they had a growlithe and a jolteon hering, I assumed that was...like, the norm." She dipped her head so her bangs flopped forward.

Maxie beamed at everyone's comments. She certainly felt close to her mother; she new nothing of her, and she had only ever seen her in a photograph, but that thumbnail picture in a locket was her only link to the woman that had brought her into the world.
At Rai and Jena's words, the girl snapped her locket shut and slipped it back into his back pocket. "I only know her name; Lyndsay Hart. She had me when she was only a little older than we are now. Sixteen or Seventeen. I've got no idea where she lives..."

Her eyes flicked to Zachary, as he began to answer Rai's question. Maxie felt her own skin prickle as the brown-eyed boy began to talk. His voice was so serious, Maxie guessed this was perhaps a sore subject for the poor boy.
'My Mom loved him, and I will never understand why...' his words brought a smile to her face.
"Your mother sounds like a wonderful person. Maybe...she couldn't bear to think bad of him? Despite... the badness." she whispered, glancing at her gloves.
For the denim-clad girl, the idea of a father and a mother was hard to grasp. She had never met her own, and while Mr and Mrs Kosloski had looked after since she was a baby, they had never been 'parents'. She couldn't even think fo them as Mum and Dad. It was impossible to imagine the cold, upper-cust couple anything near loving and caring. Maybe it was better...? Rai and Zachary seemed to get nothing but grief from at least one parent, and Jena was under a lot of pressure from both of her own. Was it really worth the love and security, all this hassle? Maxie found herself wondering. Of course it is. Real parents wouldn't treat me like Mr Kosloski does...

She shook her head irratably, and turned back to Zachary as he finished his tale. There was a note of worry in his voice that Maxie found hard to ignore. She just couldn't figure out why! She gave him what she hoped was a comforting smile, but her scarred face made it more of a grimace. "Don't worry, Zach. It was in the past."

She glanced to Rai; what was his father like? Rich? Pompous? Or a scoundral, like her own had been? Would he tell her, even if she asked? It was worth a try...
"What does your Dad do?" she asked.

At Zachary's reply, Rai remained silent for a moment, processing the information he had just been given, apparently all of them had their own family problems, including the boy.

"I see..." he replied at last, "I'm sorry if I stirred up too many bad memories, Zach, but still, thanks for sharing all of that. And I think...well, I think Maxie has a point. The problem with kind and trusting people is that they are that way to everyone, regardless of how terrible that person is, regardless of what they do..." briefly, memories stirred in his mind again, his expression passing briefly through regretfulness before returning back to its original state as he pushed the memories back, "Still, strange as this may sound, it goes to her credit that she was capable of caring for someone like that, maybe...maybe she thought he could change?" he shrugged, "It's...just a thought, though, still, thank you for the story, I'll return the favour some day."

Just then, Maxie had suddenly spoken up again, inquiring about his father.

"My father?" Rai echoed, taking a brief pause as he searched his memories, although judging by his expression they weren't unpleasant ones like Zachary's had been, "Well...he's a bit...eccentric, I suppose." the boy replied, smiling a bit, "He does...a variety of things, much to my mother's dislike. She...doesn't really want any of us to be talking about this because she thinks it would 'besmirch the family name'." the boy uttered the last four words with a measure of distaste, "She doesn't want father working at all, nor me for that matter, because we've really got more than enough money to go around from her occupation and family wealth already, but father will have none of it." Rai smiled, "He's always saying that he got where he is through hard work and that he won't have anyone forget that, not even himself. You see, unlike mother, father wasn't born rich, quite the contrary, in fact. He used to be a poor street urchin from some distant place called Stonewall Town and more or less made his living in any way he could. More or less what he does now; he's...a tutor of a great deal of things; acting...acrobatics...fencing...pok?mon training...he even knows how to teach some techniques to pok?mon. A jack of all trades, he calls himself, and he's got some other bussiness too..." the boy took a thoughtfull pause, "But that's private..." he finished, "...just between him and some of his old friends, he said I'd get to know when I'm older. Well, that's more or less it, I suppose." the boy finished, falling silent as he awaited the others' response.

OOC: Well, it was an old favorite movie of mine that I hadn't seen in about, oh, 8 years? It's called "Murder by Death", a movie made in the seventies, I believe, that was a spoof of many of the popular detectives in books. It cracks me up, and my family used to rent it to watch all the time, but then all the videostores stopped offering it for rent, and I didn't get to see it anymore. So my Mom found out it was going to be on TV the other day and so we recorded it. ^-^ I so happy!

Zachary
============

Thankful that his friends didn't seem afraid of him now that they knew that the male rolemodel presented to him in his early childhood was an abusive jerk, Zachary smiled a bit more for the remainder of the conversation. Maxie seemed a bit lost in thought, probably about her own parents. Zachary couldn't imagine what that was like. At least he knew his parents, and had a good relationship with one of them; Maxie didn't know anything. He felt a bit sorry for the girl.

"Yeah, my Mom is too nice. She probably did think she could change him. Or, who knows, maybe my father had a good side to him that only came out once in a while. Just the rest of the time he was an idiot. Who knows?" he said, shrugging with a slight smile. Maxie was right, it was all in the past.

Zachary actually loved the sound of Rai's father. He was what Zachary pictured a father like, somewhat of what he wished his own father had been like. "I like your dad. A jack of all trades, eh? There's someone like that where I live. He's our next-door neighbor, Ty. He's a bit older than my Mom, around, oh, 40 or so, but he's a pretty nice guy, and he knows how to do a lot of stuff. I used to spend afternoons helping him out with cleaning his house one summer. He knows so much... and yet he lives in such a mess. I always used to ask him why he never got rich or at least out of our poor neighborhood, and he would just shrug and say he was unlucky. Actually, I've always suspected my Mom of having a crush on him. She denies it of course, but it's pretty obvious when a girl's in love." He said this last part with complete confidence, with Silver standing a short distance away, completely unaware of the girl's feelings towards him.

"Eh? Television? Bah, I don't really watch the stuff."Jena folded her arms as Maxie told her that she had once seen Growlithe and Jolteon herd Pokemon before. Never had the Coordinator sat properly infront of those sqaure boxes for entertainment. Except when she had chances to sneak away to watch annual contests being held.

Jena decided to stop talking and listen instead. She was afraid to comment on Zachary's statement, wondering if she would mess up her words. Or something like that. Zach's father didn't seem like a nice dude, not at all, infact, it made the girl feel lucky that she had Jendo for a father. Even if he wasn't what one would call...attentive, he was still her father, and a good one at that. If only he would stop immersing himself in training and come out for fresh air once in awhile, atleast she'd get a chance to greet him. The Blackbelt had been interest in martial arts since he was young, though only in the recent years had Jendo begun to get too engrossed with his training to stop talking with Jena. It was the same time Zhena started with the strict trainings as well.

Then, it was Rai's father. The girl was overwhelmed by the various fathers her friends had. 'Jack of all trades' was a new word to her, although, it must have something to do with a guy called Jack. Either that, or...what was it one of Zhena's aquaintances had said before...one who was very good at the stock market. Or whatever, it had something do with making a lot of money. She wasn't paying attention at that point of time as well. Then, Zach started takling about this guy called Ty instead of Jack. The boy then turned to Silver, who had been quiet.

"Um..Silver, is anything the matter?"Jena opened her mouth to ask, feeling uneasy for the girl.

OOC:

Bah. I haven't been posting much a 'cause o homework.

*will have revenge on the evil homework during the weekend*

IC:

Kayley, much like Jena, hadn't really been paying attention to the rest of the conversation. She knew everyone was going on about fathers, and it merely encouraged her to switch her thoughts to those of her own father.

He was a busy man, gone from home for weeks at a time. She treasured the times when he was actually around. The short times when he was actually around. They'd try to make the most of it together, spending their time going to carnivals.. movies.. Small things that were enhanced by his presence.

Kayley's father actually traveled around the world representing Silph Co., advertising products and trying to bring respect to the name. Or at least that's what he told her when he asked. He could be considered a CEO, Kayley supposed. All she knew that whatever he did for Silph Co. during his travels brought home a lot of money.. So much that her mother could afford to be a housewife like she had mentioned.

Her father was a lot better at expressing his love than her mother, from the Trainer's point of view. Perhaps it was because he hardly ever saw her, but she didn't really know.

Great, now I'm missing him more than usual.. Kayley thought to herself, looking down. She supposed the best way to get her thoughts away from her father was to go back into the conversation, just as Jena had commented about not watching television.

"You don't watch television, eh? What do you do in your free time, then? When you're not rearing Mareep and all." Kayley said, beginning to swing her trumpet case again, Fishy safely tucked under the other arm while he slept.

OOC:

Lol, I just posted my greatest fear in that thread.. And it looks so lame. XD

No, not really, Plushie.^^
Your fear don't really sound lame or anything. Niah, I jump at everything that pops out of nowhere, including my friends.-

Friend- *pops out from one side of Yibber's desk*Hello!
Yibber- Gah!!!*falls out of chair*
Friend-*laughs*

Another good example would be-

*finally notices stray cat/dog standing/sitting beside her after 1 minute*

*screams*

XD

Moths aren't really scary, cept' for those huge ones which I sometimes find right outside my house door.O_O
My mother has to push me out of the house(one time, she used an umbrella to poke me.XD) cause I'm like, freaked out that they'll start chasing me.X3

Ic-

"Eh? You people watch television? I don't really like it, I mean, not like its going to make me a better rearer unless I get out there and try out stuff for myself you know?"Jena shrugged at Kayley, turning away from Silver and trying to continue making up excuses if more questions on their way.

"I don't have any spare time at all. My Papa and Mama want me to train all the time. And when I'm done training, it'd be too tired to do anything except eat and get a good sleep for the next day."the Coordinator sighed, this sentence being truthful was amazing, had she grew attached to them? No way.

Yes, she considered them friends, but she'd promise herself not to tell anyone the truth. Hopefully, she could keep to the promise. It was a tad bit on the obvious side that most were suspicious of her whole 'Mareep Rearing' story, sad to say, Jena had not taken any notice whatsoever.

{Hello!!!! When will you realise, notice, took note, that I, Orjen, am standing here!!!!}the Wurmple was tiring himself out from the waving of his short arms. Still, he was more than determined to get Kinaki's attention, even if it was the last thing he did before his nap!

{ooc| My....arms...
One of the dogs currently at the kennels is a HUGE doberman. It's massive, definetly a crossbreed. He's called Vigo. None of the other girls would feed or walk him so I had to do it, I nearly had a heart attack. He's SO scary. Normally I'm not scared of big dogs, but it has this really nasty look in it's eye. *shudder* I went in his pen and he lunged at me, I had to grab his muzzle and force him back. Once I gave him his grub his seemed okay, but... gah, it really shook me. Anyway, I took him out, and I had a huge wrestling match with him trying to stop him ripping another dog to shreds. ARGH. Now I'm angry. His owners are really out of order, if your dog has a behaviour problem you're meant to mention it.
Anyway, I'm done ranting... but I'm so annoyed about that. Normally I like looking after them..}

Maxie grinned. "Back at home all I did was sit around. I'm no great shakes at reading..." she cringed. Talking about her illiteracy was not something Maxie was fond of. "...so I used to spend my time watching tv and playing video games. Between working, I mean." she added, before the others could imagine her as some sort of couch potato. She peered ahead. She could just about see the pokecenter.

She turned to the others. "What do you reckon? Should we heal Zach's pokemon and keep climbing the mountain?" Maxie wasn't really happy about re-entering the pokemon centre, that much was plain to see. Her face was even more sullen than usual.
Fang flapped his wings anxiously, glancing at Orjen briefly. {Attention seeker...} he muttered.

OOC: Erm...yay for your fears! xD (I so own you now, nyuk, nyuk... >D No wait, Plushie knows my fear! @.@ Gah, can't abuse hers then...but remember, Plushie, I've got something to counteract you with if you try to exploit mine! XD)

Anyways, my symphaties for your arms, Charon. And about what happened...dog owners like that should be brought away and shot! XO It's exactly their kind that gives responsible owners a bad name! I wouldn't be too surprised if they had quite a significant hand in making that dog's behaviour what it is...~_~

No time for an IC today, maybe tommorow...bloody Physics! >.<

OOC:

Huh? I don't care if you tell anyone I'm afraid of moths. It's not really that much of a secret anymore, ne? XD

So without further ado.. *pokes attachment*

Anyways, sowwy about the dog incident, Charon. *pats*

Big dogs pack quite a punch, yes they do. XD

...Dang. I was ready to post a full-blown IC in both RPs, but seeing as how it's bedtime now.. *glares at rule-abiding parents*

OOC: NOOOOOO!!! MY SECRET IS REVALED! @___@

Whatever...I still know one secret of yours, Plushie, and it ain't a fear. ^.~ *Pokes*

IC:

"Yes...I'm sure it is..." Rai replied in his usual polite voice to Zachary's last remark, although he couldn't help casting a nervous glance at Silver as he did so. Sure, he didn't know for sure whether the girl had feelings for Zachary or not, but all the signs certainly seemed to be there. Well, he would probably find out soon, seeing as how the girl wasn't exactly the best actor around.

As the subject switched to watching TV, Rai spoke up again, "I watch TV from time to time too..." he commented, "But only if there's something worthwhile on, like a broadcast from a big contest or tournament, although usually our family gets invited to those anyway, so..." the boy shrugged, "I really don't do it that much."

The boy chose not to comment on what Maxie was saying about her being illiterate, noticing that it was obviously a bit of a sore spot for the girl and choosing to reply to her question instead;

"Yeah, I'm for that plan at least." he replied, nodding, "We've still got a good bit of the day left so if we keep a decent pace we should have no problem completing our challenges today, no doubt most of the trainers trying to climb the mountain have given up today anyhow. And besides, the pok?mon center is right there." he nodded towards the familiar red-roofed building which was now only a short walk away from them, "If anyone's pok?mon are in need of healing, now's the chance."

OOC: Nooo! Stupid college computer system's firewall won't let me read Plushie's attachment. T_T Oh well, I'll read it at home. *pouts*

Zachary
=============

"Ooh! Good the Pokemon Center!" Zachary said, wanting to heal Ron so that he could bring the little Aron back out again and begin to feel more comfortable. He felt so incomplete without the little guy.

Zachary walked up to the door and into the familiar lobby, bringing out his two pokeballs to be ready for Nurse Joy to heal them. He didn't want to dawdle seeing as the others were probably anxious to see the first gym and the first gym leader as well. He fell in line to have his pokemon healed behind a couple of trainers that looked less than pleased with their performances in their respective battles.

"Man I just can't believe that I lost to the first gym leader I went up against... I trained so hard too," the boy in front of Zachary said, his white jacket stained with dirt and grime from who knew what. The girl in front of his looked near to collasping in sobs. Her face was all wet with tears and she stomped her foot as she spoke in gasps.

"I- I should have won! It's NOT fair!" she said, glaring down at her pokemon nestled safely in their shiny, and now wet, pokeballs, "My pokemon just choked! I hate it when they do that! Sometimes they're so pathedic at battling it's laughable!" The boy that had spoken first gave the girl an exasperated look, as if he was very annoyed and not surprised at all with what the girl was saying.

Zachary hoped that the same didn't happen to his own friends when challenging the gym leader. In the meantime, Zachary wondered if Amelia was anywhere around here. He did enjoy talking to her, and couldn't help but smile when he thought of her timid demeanor. It was kind of cute actually.

OOC: Poor Silver, she'd better get here quick before Zachary is left to his own devices! XD Not that he'd do anything more than talk to Amelia... he's not THAT hormonal; or confident. ^-^;

I ish suffering from writer's block now.T_T

[PokeCommunity.com] Showgan -- Standing On Edge (Invitational)

Feebas, you would not believe what else I've drawn in Geography class.X3
Anyways, I'll try to add an IC post later. If this writer's block ever goes away.T_T

OCC: Flissie has been very busy with homework lately.. Sorry for not posting..

IC:
Silver followed Zachary into the Pokemon Center "Zachary.. We do not have any time for you to sweet-talk with Amelia.. Don't you ever communicate with her in anyway ever again!! Or else.. I'm gonna get nasty.." Silver warned.. She then turned and walked by to where the others was.. She looked at Jena and said "I'm alright.. Well.. my family.. Does not exist.. So don't probe on it anymore.." She sighed and looked away.. She probably didn't like to talk about her family.. And she is really jealous of the others who seemed to have a really perfect family.. I'm nothing like them..

Jena was about to wait outside with the rest as Zachary went into the Pokemon Center to heal his Pokemon. Not like her own needed healing however. Suddenly, Silver broke away from the group to follow Zach into the Pokemon Center. After a few moments, the strange trainer came back out once more. Acting like nothing much had happened, the girl then began stating that she had no family, making the Coordinator blush in embarassment from asking whether the girl was alright in the first place.

"Eh...."Jena wanted to say something to cheer Silver up, but nothing came out of her mouth. Instead, she decided to bow to the girl.

"Sorry for...for bringing up that subject."she apologised before straightening herself back up to her feet.

{I am not an attention-seeker, blue, winged, bat creature called Fang!}Orjen folded his arms impatiently at the Zubat's statement, then pointing to Kinaki.

{The funny extra-mouthed, metal jawed person does not notice me!}he closed his eyes for a bit before starting to wave his hands franticly in order to get the Mawile's attention.

{So cute, Yibber!}

Maxie waved at the others. "I'll wait here, there's no point us all going in." she told them, and sat down on one of the benches outside. Of course, she had another reason; mainly that, once someone had taken a look at Fang, they had the tendacy of getting kind of... panicy... Showing up twice definetly wasn't worth the risk.

Inside the pokemon centre, the nurse that had served Maxie before was still fretting. She watched as Zachary and the others entered, and smiled to herself. The boy with the aron really liked Amelia, that much was obvious. But in what way? She watched him a bit longer, glad of the respite he was giving her from her frightening thoughts. It wasn't long, though, until she remembered. The aron boy...had been travelling with the treecko boy... who had been travelling with the bat girl. She peered out the window, and sure enough, caught sight of Maxie, with her inky black hair in a chunky plait, picking at the holes in the knees of her dungerees. The nurse backed away slowly.
"Maybe I should tell gwendolyne?" she muttered. "Nah...I'm not telling that vicious old bag anything..."

OOC: Yay! My Physics lesson ish over! ^0^ And I did good too, got to correct my dad on two accounts no less...ahh...the simple pleasures in life. xD

First of all, hiii Flissie! I was beginning to miss your presence again. ^^ Meh, I can symphatize with having a lot of schoolwork to do...*Kicks schoolwork* but that was some nice timing. ^^

Oh, and Melissa, if Zachary is waiting for a nurse Joy then he's in the wrong pok?mon center. ^-^ Nice avvie by the way, that Azumarill made me smile. ^^

And before I forget, Yibber...aww...they're chibified! Too cute... ^.^ Whoa, I could actually picture those being marketed as a new series of fluffy little toys. o.O

...

Right, I need some carrot juice...

IC:

"I'll stay outside too." Rai commented as Zachary went inside, soon followed by Silver, although the girl returned outside just as quickly, walking over to Jena and declaring that she didn't have any family.

No..family at all? Rai thought, unable to resist feeling sorry for the girl, even though he knew that Silver herself would probably snap at him if he expressed his feelings on the matter. She didn't seem like the kind of person who wanted everyone to come over and tell her how sorry they were about everything, although there was no doubt in Rai's mind that she wouldn't have minded such attention from Zachary...yes, the boy was pretty certain about his hypothesis. Regardless, he didn't want to push matters by commenting on anything so he remained silent, waiting for Zachary to finish his bussiness inside.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, within the pok?mon center, nurse Gwendolyn was working at full speed, ordering the trainees right and left while at the same time dealing with as many of the dissapointed trainers as she could manage, in her usual manner of course.

"Come on, move along." she muttered, gesturing for the next trainer in the queue to step forward, and carefully accepting the badly singed Machop he was holding onto, "Oh for goodness sake, doesn't anyone use burn heals any longer?" she commented, shaking her head while the Machop's owner, a young kid with curly light brown hair, was sobbing frantically, "Oh shape up, boy." the nurse said in the closest thing to a sympathetic voice that she could manage "Your Machop will be good as new in a matter of minutes, just go sitt on that bench over there while you wait."

The boy nodded, letting out a small whimper in response and leaving the cue to sitt down on the afforementioned bench to accompany an equally melacholic looking hiker, his hefty bulk almost occupying two whole seats.

"Next." Gwendolyn said in a bussiness-like voice, gesturing for the people in the line to keep moving, "And trainee Amelia!" she added sharply, adressing someone in the room behind, "Are you done healing the last batch yet?!"

"A-almost, m'am!" came the girl's shaky voice in response, "I-it's done now!" she added, the trainee soon emerging from the room with a large tray holding pok?balls in her hands, Kuro scampering after her, holding a few stray ones which wouldn't fit on the tray in his paws, the duo quickly proceeding to run across the room in search of the owners of the pok?mon, all of them carefully added to the notepad that the trainee had tucked away under her armpit.

"And you too!" Gwendolyn added, this time addressing the trainee who was staring out of the window, "Stop dawdling and get to work! We have a situation here!"

Jena remained in her silent state, too scared that Silver would start snapping at the people who had chosen not to go in after Zachary. Well, which meant atleast half of the group. Was this the reason why Silver acted the way she did? Just the though of having no parents, add on the fact that she was younger than the rest of them.
She couldn't help but feel sympathy towards the girl and she meant it in the nicest way possible. Hopefully Silver wouldn't notice her, she'd probably start complaining and stating that she didn't need anyone to feel sorry for her.

{Hey!!! You there with the metal jaws!! I, Orjen, the Wurmple, want you to talk to meee!!!}Orjen started pouting from his spot on Jena's shoulder, he wasn't liking this one bit. His patience was waning fast. Letting out a tired sigh, the Bug type jumped off his trainer's shoulder and onto the ground, making his way over to the Steel Type.

{If you don't come, walk, talk to me, I shall come and converse with you!}the Wurmple said aloud, poking Kinaki once he was close enough to the Mawile.

Jena put her hands behind her back, waiting to see if Silver would reply to them anytime soon. Seemed like this time, she was really reminded of unwanted stuff. 'If only there was a way to help her...' the Coordinator squinted her eyes slightly as she realised that a trainee nurse was staring at them through a window of the Pokemon Center. Or rather, Maxie and Fang, then backing away from the window. Strange..

OCC: Wtf.. Did ya' post here just ta' say that?? IC post coming in a while too..

IC:

Silver stared towards the direction of the Pokemon Center.. "What is Zachary doing in there? Is he talking to Amelia?" she muttered.. She turned to Miruka and whispered.. "Miruka... do me a favour.. Go in and check out what Zachary is doing.."

{No problem.. Your wish is my command} Miruka said as he ran into the Pokemon Center.. Miruka took a quick glance from the entrance of the Pokemon Center.. {Hmm.. Zachary seems to be behaving normal.. Doesn't appear to be talking to Amelia..}

He then ran back and "reported" to Silver.. "At least they're not talking.." she muttered before looking at Jena once again.. "Well.. you don't actually have to apologize.."
