Kayley honestly had no clue what to say when she had arrived in front of Zachary, along with Jena and Rai. She allowed them to speak first, then decided to build off of their words. She hadn't want to upset the boy further, although for some reason he did seem to be a lot happier. In fact, he was even apologizing to Ron.. But Kayley didn't know what for.

"Um, yes, we don't mean to intrude, but, perhaps it'd make you feel better if you talked about it." Kayley piped up, suddenly wishing her trumpet was there with her. For some reason she always felt a lot stronger with it, although, like a lot of things this morning, she couldn't figure out why.

Razz snorted once she had come around to walking up to Kayley's side. {Pfft, he looks fine, just look at that,} She said, referring to the display of affection between Zach and Ron, {I don't know what you're all worried about.}

Flipping her mane, she jumped off in a sudden movement, in an attempt to shake Fishy off her back, but she would have no such luck any time soon.

{Nyuk nyuk nyuk, no, I will not let go, you must suffer!} Fishy shouted, causing Razz' eyes to narrow even further.

All Kayley could do was nod at Jena's words, falling into silence as she waited for Zachary to respond, or for another suggestion to be made.


As for Razz, she paused in her constant jumping to glance around the nearby area, looking for who had addressed her, then realized that the Pokemon was shorter than her, looking down upon the tiny little Wurmple that had addressed her.

Her eyes lit up at the sheer cuteness of the little Bug-type, but her ego swelled and got in the way of her ranting on about Orjen's cuteness to whoever would listen.

Instead, she swelled with pride that someone had heard of her from somewhere, nodding happily at the Wurmple.

{Ah yes, the pleasure is mine. Mmm-hmm, you've got it right, unlike some Mud Fish.} Razz said, turning her head to glare once again at the Mudkip on her back.

{Hee hee! Razzie, you're so temperamental!} He squealed.

Razz snorted, rolling her eyes in annoyance before turning back to Orjen.

"Well, you could always order breakfast from one of the nurses.." Kayley said to Jena, sighing. She was hungry too, but she wanted confirmation from Zach before she thought about food.

{W-What?} Razz stammered, pure confusion evident in her eyes, the flames of her mane flickering as if on cue when they had been mentioned. Before she could properly react, Cascade offered to put them out, to which she nearly leaped up again in horror.

{No! Don't you dare put out my flames!} She whinnied, ignoring Fishy's soft laughter. {They're not even supposed to hurt! Why, having them put out is a million times worse when it comes to pain!} She rambled, calming a bit when she saw that Ryne had prevented Cascade from carrying through with his offer.

Razz tilted her head in still more confusion. Had they never learned of such things?

{Of course it doesn't hurt!} She exclaimed, although she tried not to be too blunt. {If you haven't noticed, I'm a Fire-type! Water hurts me! Fire is harmless! Get it now!?} Razz finished, frowning at the Mudkip on the ground instead of the one on her back, purely out of frustration.

It was obvious that this discussion was pretty much getting on her nerves. To the Ponyta, such a topic was trivial. Oh yes, and of course, the reason Fishy wasn't getting burned up there was because Razz knew him too well.. Even if she didn't want to.

{Heh heh, temper temper.. You'd better watch it or you'll explode like last time!} Fishy exclaimed, grinning. Razz winced, knowing she need not be reminded.

Fishy, now bored with tormenting Razz, hopped from her back, over to Kayley's shoulder quite gracefully. Then he snapped back towards Cascade, beaming down at him.

{Oh no, that's not quite what I mean..} He trailed off, giggling.

And about Ross, that cracked me up Alter! That sounds like my luck! Though, yesterday I had very good luck. This new guy that joined my group, Geitz, he had like 12 HP left, and all of these cavaliers kept popping up and racing over to him, I mean there were 9 of them in a row! o.o And I was sweating bullets waiting for him to get killed. But he just kept dodging them! It was the most amazing thing! 9 in a row! My goodness! He would have been dead methinks if he hadn't had his Killer Axe equiped. ^-^;;

Oh! And thank you Yibber for the awesome present!! I shall put a smaller version of it in my sig when I get home! Yes indeedy! The coloring is awesome! Great job!

Looking up from his hug with Ron, Zachary saw the others coming up to him. They all seemed pretty concerned, and so Zachary figured an explanation was in order.

"Oh... I'm alright! And, it really wasn't the poor Ghastly's fault either. I guess I just need to get over my fear of ghosts; and what better way to do it than with a Ghastly in our traveling group?" he smiled, trying to repress a shiver about the creepy ghost-type, "Silver and Ron got me a bit angry about being such a fraidy-cat with a few comments they made. I'm not really sure why I got so upset about it; I just... was. I ran off through the door like that because I needed to get away from them for moment. I guess probably because I...."

But Zachary stopped at this part. He wasn't sure why he had left. He hadn't really even thought of it when he had done it, he had just felt like running off and out into the crisp air of outside the center. He felt like doing that would have made him calmer for some unknown reason. It sounded a bit silly now that he thought of it; it wasn't exactly a sunny day out, there were billowing dark clouds and it was looking like rain almost.

"Uh, I must have just felt too embarrassed or something," he said, more to himself than to the others, "Whatever the case, I think I'm fine now. And... I need to apologize to Silver when she comes out for breakfast. I feel kinda bad for snapping at her."

As he said this, he leaned against a chair that was next to him, the very chair he had been sitting in the night before, and it toppled over. "Ah!" he grunted, feeling the chair slip from his hand to the ground, "Oops... guess I am back to normal."

Ron shook his head with a smile. Humans....

Anyways, you got a lucky break there, Melissa, even though you did waste several good durability points from a Killer Axe. *Waggs finger dissaprovingly* But still, I suppose it's preferable to getting your character killed. Well, Ross might be an exception to that rule. XD

Although I did have some luck of my own just now. I was playing this mission called Scorching Sands, and let me tell you it was a downright pain in the unmentionables. That stupid sand completely swamped my cavalry, which in essence means half my party. >.< Anyways, because only fliers could move properly in that terrain I was relying very heavily on Vanessa (Falcoknight level 5, more or less immune to spells and dodges most things) and Tana (Pegasus Knight level 20, kinda like a slightly toned down version of Vanessa) to do the dirty work for me. Anyways, I got a bit carried away with Tana and happened to locate her right within striking distance of almost the whole remaining enemy force (If Valter, the leader dude, would have been able to move I would have been seriously screwed O_O), and of course, I noticed it just after I had hit 'Wait'. Well, if memory serves the force consisted of;

3 Cavaliers (Armed with Iron Lance, Javelin, and Iron Axe respectively)
1 Paladin (Armed with an Iron Sword)
5 Myrmidons (Iron Swords all around, except for one which had a Killing Edge)
2 Shamans (One with Luna and one with Eclipse)
4 Archers (Longbows all around)
3 Wyvern Riders (Iron Lances all around)

Now I'm pretty sure you know that Pegasus Knights aren't exactly the toughest physical walls around, especially when Archers are concerned, and Tana was holding a Javelin at the time, so I seriously thought I was going to have to do the whole darn mission all over again (Because I'm sure as heck not going to accept loosing one of my best characters <_<). But lo and behold, Tana dodged;

All of the Archers' attacks
All of the Wyvern Riders' attacks
2 of the Cavaliers' attacks (One of them being the one from the axe)
3 of the Myrmidons' attacks (Killing Edge among them)
The Luna Shaman's attack

Plus, her Resistance soaked up all of the damage from the Shaman with Eclipse too. XD Overall, she made it with about half of her HP intact and took down two of the Cavaliers, all of the Myrmidons, one of the Shamans, and all of the Wyvern Riders, plus, she left the Paladin mortally wounded. Then all I had to do was to move in my haxxy Bishop, Natasha, and kill of the stragglers with Divine (Ohh..I love that spell ^^). So yeah, I guess I get pretty lucky at times. XD

"I see..." Rai said, nodding at Zachary's explanation amd smiling in a relieved manner as the boy claimed to be back to normal, proving his statement by managing to lean back on the exact same chair that had assaulted him the last time, naturally causing it to tip over. The old Zachary did indeed seem to be back, although Rai couldn't help thinking that there had been something a bit off about the boy's explanation, something left out...just like he had done with his strange vision on the boat. The boy shrugged this thought off though, it was probably just his morning drowsiness getting to him.

"Yeah, I guess you are." Rai said, chuckling as he leant down to return the chair back to its original position before nurse Gwendolyn came by.

{Normal?} Kaika asked in slight puzzlement, tilting his head and smiling at Zachary, despite how rudely the boy had ignored his words earlier {Bes it normal for Zachary to be breakings things?}

Sapphire ish so shocked that the young boy she liked turned out to be Ruby himself!
Actually,they found the Red and Blue Orbs,to stop the raging battle between the Ancients going on in Sootopolis.So..when they arrived,Ruby locked her up and the story picks up from there!^^
Anyway,Ruby tells her that,since he loves her,doens't want her to get hurt and blah,tha's why he locked her up.So,he flies off with Sapphire's Tropius to try and control the Groundon and Kyogre.Then,suddenly,one of the Admins of Team Magma appears,she was part of the reason why this happened in the first place!But,she offers to help Ruby to fight the Ancients.(Personally,I think she likes Ruby...>_>)

I got Photoshop 7 today....I've been trying it out and drawing retarded things.}

Through some sheer Fluke, Maxie had sat down nearly three seats away from everyone else; as usual, was conversing with her zubat. Maxie clutched the chain around her neck in a worried manner - her other hand seemed to be the subject of their 'little chat', because Fang kept poking it with his wingtip. It was only Zachery, knocking over a chair right in front of her, that brought her back to the present day. The pair nodded at each other, and Fang settled back down to sit on his trainer's backpack. Maxie sidled closer to the others.
"As normal as Zach's gonna get." she said, as the conversattion turned to the boy's state. "What's normal anyway..." she muttered, under her breath. Normal for Maxie definetly wouldn't be normal for the others.
She glanced up as Jena ordered food - Maxie had already asked for an omelette, and it still hadn't come. The girl frowned, hoping the nurse-in-training she had asked hadn't forgotton.
"So what's happening today?" she asked the others.

"That's good to hear." Kayley said to Zach, smiling a bit before turning away in order to help Jena flag down Nurse Gwendolyn. On her shoulder, Fishy began to jab her with questions.

{Hey, hey! What are we gonna eat for breakfast? What is the breakfast like here? Do we have to eat that canned junk? Are we gonna eat human food?} Fishy asked, all of which Kayley rolled her eyes to.

"I don't know, Fishy. Remember, just like you, I have never been here before." She sighed, patting the Mudkip on his head.

{Just askin', come on!} He wailed, although he said nothing more, settling down on her shoulder.

{Although it would be nice to see a menu or something.} Razz commented from her spot, noticing that she was as hungry as before.
 
OOC: Kweh... the Taillow had spoke to Eletron the Magnemite?? How'd I miss that? o.o Probably the annoying state of the computer I was on yesterday... >_>

Oh, and believe me Alter, if I'd have know that those many guys were gonna pop up out of nowhere to try and kill me, I would have equipped his brand new Silver Axe... -_- They took me by surprise. Not to mention, I had meant to choose "Item" for Oswin (the one that had been holding Geitz because of his oh so low HP at the moment), but instead I chose "Drop" for some reason. What in the heck was I thinking?! Anyway... got the first Heaven Seal, so now I can at least upgrade Lyn to a Blade Lord and she'll finally get her defense and strength up. >_< Level 20 now... and still the same shameful defense....

On the bright side, I know what video game to ask for Christmas! Yay for more Fire Emblem!! ^____^

After picking up the chair, Zachary straightened up. "Yeah... um, sorry about the chair Gwennie!" Zachary laughed, and then after seeing Gwendolyn's taut face when saying her name shorter, quickly righting himself, "Uh, I mean, Gwendolyn." He smiled nervously; that nurse scared him.

Ron was glad to have Zachary back, but he too sensed that something was amiss here. It would not be strange for Zachary to hold things back, but Ron could not see what it was that he would want to hold back. He had merely been outside... what was the problem? He tried to put it out of mind though, and noticed that Kaika's question was once again, not answered.

{Oh! Yes, it's very normal for Zack to be breaking things. See every human's good at something; and so far Zachary has mastered the art of knocking, breaking, bumping, and cracking things,} Ron said, nodding thoughtfuly.

"Gee, thanks Ron," said Zachary in the sarcastic tone he usually took when Ron jokingly insulted him.

{And you'll have to excuse Zack, like most humans, he can only understand pokemon that he's been with for a long time; like me!} Ron added, ignoring Zachary's comment.

When Zachary heard Ron make that comment, his mind suddenly reminded him of the Magnemite he could understand. He forced himself to let go of this thought though, and instead turned to Gwendolyn.

"Yeah, how about that breakfast?" he asked, smiling again.

OOC: By the way, check out what's now in my signature! ^-^ Though... I had to get rid of my adopted pokemon. ... *in a tiny voice* Hm... maybe I should actually finish those things... I still need to give some to people... o.o *end tiny voice* Oh, and Yibber, did you want me to say that you were the one who drew it, or keep it anonymous? I wasn't sure. ^-^

Gwendolyn's eyes narrowed quite significantly at the sight of Zachary and the chair (Again) not to mention him calling her 'Gwenny', but the boy had managed quite a good save by calling her by her proper name directly after it, and apologizing to boot.

"It is quite allright." she replied, her expression untensing just a tiny bit, "As for breakfast. You should ask one of the trainee nurses about that, because I'm simply too busy at the moment to play waiter." she turned on her heel, calling out to a trainee who apparently didn't look busy enough to her, "Trainee Amelia! Stop loafing around and get over here! We've got trainers waiting for service!"

The trainee, one who's hair colour was closer to orange than the traditional shade of red that most nurses possesed, flinched visibly as nurse Gwendolyn called to her, "Erm...yes ma'm! Right away ma'm" she called, almost visibly intimidated by the older woman as she strode over as quickly as she could, clasping onto a notepad in her right hand as if she was desperately afraid of being seen without it, a somewhat bony-looking Meowth walking timidly in her tracks.

"These five are looking for breakfast." Gwendolyn informed the trainee matter-of-factly before her eyes fell on the Meowth behind her, "And I thought I told you to keep that pok?mon away from the dining hall." she added sharply, "You know what the health department thinks about strays walking around people who are eating."

"But ma'am..." the trainee replied, trembling slightly "I've tried to stop him from following me, honest! But he gets so lonely when there's no-one around! I just had to..."

Gwendolyn rolled her eyes, "Allright..." she replied curtly, lowering her voice slightly, "But for goodness sake, try to keep it out of sight, I don't want the health officials breathing down our necks again."

"Y-yes ma'am!" the trainee replied, "Thank you, ma'am!"

Gwendolyn shrugged, stalking off again and muttering something inaudible in response under her breath.

"So..." trainee Amelia said, straightening out her trainee's outfit and attempting to collect herself as she turned to adress the group, "What do you want to order?"

{Oh...Kaika understandings.} the Vulpix said, nodding, {The master hads a talent too...for pok?mon, but him only wantings big fierce, fire-breathing ones, says they bes the only real pok?mon.} the Vulpix tilted his head, {Kaika thinkings Zachary's talent bes nicerer than the master's...oh, and Kaika sometimes forgettings that not all big ones bes understandings him...} the fox pok?mon took a small pause, {It bes okay, Kaika probably won't be spendings very much time with you any way...} he cast a glance at Rai {Nice boy Rai bes promisings to take Kaika back to the master after all.}

OOC: Pwhee! Tis' suitably long! ^^ Anyways, I'm thinking that Amelia and her Mewoth shall still have their uses, so I would appreciate it if they weren't over-RPed by the rest of y'all.

Kayley observed the ensuing scene with Trainee Amelia with interest.. Although she couldn't help but feel sorry for the girl. Having a temperamental boss like Nurse Gwendolyn? No thanks..

"Um, yes, could I order some pancakes?" Kayley asked, already smiling at the fact that they were about to get some food at last. Fishy quickly elbowed her in the neck, causing her to flinch slightly. "Oh yes, and for all the Pokemon, could you get them some Pokefood?"

{What? Pokefood? Don't I get a say in this? What about SMOOTHIES?!} Fishy wailed, causing Kayley to roll her eyes.

Oh, I almost forgot." he added, tapping himself slightly on the forehead before he reached for the two pok?balls on his belt, unclipping them "Ashura, Chupon, come on out!"

With their respective cries, the Scyther and the Treecko materialized, Chupon on the table in front of Rai, stretching his joints and yawning widely, while Ashura spawned on the floor, immediately casting suspicious glances around her, and causing the Meowth to jump in between Amelia's legs with a frightened yelp, before the mantis pok?mon settled down somewhat and turned to observe the situation around the table, taking in the smells of food coming from all around her.

OOC: Aw! Awesome Trumpet Plushie! So shiny... o.o I think shiny instruments are very pretty. I used to play the flute a bit. My Mom had lent me her old one, it wasn't quite that shiny, but it had sentimental value.

Oh, and I also forgot to comment on how hard it must be to do all that practicing! You must be a very tired Plushie indeedy. =_=

{Really? Well, no offense, but your Master doesn't sound like a very nice guy...,} Ron said to Kaika, feeling a bit sorry for it. Fishy then burst out about the smoothies.

{Yeah! I agree with Fishy! We've been waiting for those smoothies!} Ron said in a harsh tone. He had really been looking forward to it.

Amelia took their Kayley and Rai's orders. She was a pretty girl, and Zachary had a bit of trouble thinking of only food at the moment, so he was unsure about what to order. Rai also released his other pokemon, much to the dislike of Luka. She turned a bit paler when Ashura made her appearance and rubbed the back of her still-short without realizing it.

The little Zigzagoon then quickly made her way up to Zachary trying to look as if she had meant to go that fast the whole time. {Hm... I saw you with that Magnemite. Why didn't you catch it?} she said curiously, a bit confused. However, Zachary still couldn't truly understand her very well. Though he could guess that she had been referring to something outside by how she was looking towards the window.

"Outside? I think I already explained that...," he said with a hint of confusion.

Ron looked back, {No no, she's talking about some Magnemite she said you were with. Pfft... smoothies Zack?}

"Oh... uh... well, I don't know where that Magnemite came from. He just sort of showed up and wanted to know if I had any idea of what he was searching for," Zachary said truthfully, "I didn't, then we talked for a bit and he helped me realize what an idiot I was being." He then turned to Amelia.

"I'll have pancakes too. Sounds great!" he said to her, ignoring Ron's plea for smoothies.

Ron wasn't thinking of that anymore though. He had felt a small flame of jealousy flare up in him when he had realized that Zachary had talked and discussed something so personal with another pokemon. He then told himself not to worry though-- they would probably never see it again.
