Chappie 184(Vs. Dustox)

Ruby felt rather content,saying that it felt great to do good deeds.(Yeah,this is right after the part tha Sapphire wakes up and finds that Ruby made clothes for her).
Now
there was only one problem left.
Yes,he was thankful that Prof.Birch had given the Mudkip to him,but Ruby was still wondering what type of contests he could enter him in.
Nana,Coco and Ruru were in the coolness,cuteness and intelligence segments respectively,each having a segment they could represent well in.Once Norman found out about him running away,he'd have to bring the Mudkip home too.The bet he had made with Sapphire didn't really help much,the boy knew he didn't really have that much time.That's why,if it was possible,
he wanted the new Mudkip to do his part.
Though,Ruby wasn't the type to give up easily(I guess).
Ruby-*snaps fingers*Well,with my guidance pokemon will fail to internalize elegance(I hope..).
The boy then ordered his Skitty to treat the nearby bridge as the stadge,to show their new member how it was done.
The Mudkip shot Ruby a confused look,before looking as Coco sashayed over the bridge in a particularly cute/elegant(I can't decide.-_-) manner.
*Ruby magically pulls a microphone out of thin air.XD*-Nothing can change the cutest it has mastered.Not even time!And the adrable character is unbeatable.
Coco then proceeded to roll on the bridge in a cute manner.
Now,it was the Mudkip's turn,he had to try and imitate.First,it was from his walking-
To a cute expression.
Err...How about a cool expression?

Ruby felt rather flustered,telling the Mudkip that this wouldn't do,he pointed to the leaves of a tree beside him,saying that he had to be like the willow and sway more gracefully.
Okay,it was getting worse.
Ruby told the Mudkip to look more carefully at the leaves as he tried to grab some himself.Before he could continue however,he realised that he had grabbed onto

Littleroot Town-
Sapphire sat on the balcony of her father's house,having told Birch and Ruby's mother what had happened.
The Professor took the things out of his bag-thingy.Treeko and his pokegear were there,but he realised that his pokedex was gone.
Ruby's mother,still shocked on hearing the news,
looked like she was about to faint.They decided to call Norman at Petalburg gym first.
As Norman picked up the phone,he asked where Ruby was.His wife responded in a shaky voice.After listening to Sapphire's story,they knew that he had run away.She then continued by asking him what they were to do.
She passed the phone to Birch who suggested that they call the police.But,Norman had other plans,he told them that it wouldn't be necessary.
And said that he would look for the boy himself.(Feebas,Norman's strong!!^^)
As the line went dead,Ruby's mother sighed,saying that Norman must have crushed the phone in his hand
again.He would always do that.

Back at Oldale town-(Yessh,a chapter is really this long.-_-)
Ruby and his pokemon were running more the Dustox,clearly agitated by the boy grabbing its wing.Suddenly though,the boy hears a certain beeping coming from his
pocket(As you can see,Brendan ish way fatter than Ruby!^^*gets brick'd and buried in a pile of Ludicolo*).
It turned out to be the pokedex,he must've forgotten to return it to the Professor.Though,Ruby didn't have much time to ponder on how to return the device,as the Dustox proceeded to shower the poison dust from its huge wings onto Ruru,Coco and Nana.
They all fell onto the ground,asleep.
As the pokedex stated,the powder from a Dustox' wings could put a pro wrestler to sleep.Ruby then decided that they could have a rest first,withdrawing the three pokemon into their pokeballs.
The Mudkip however,was still very much awake,and had caught up to them.
He didn't catch any of the dust as he was too slow.Both quickly ducked under the bridge as a
Psybeam barely missed them.Ruby tried to see whether there was anyway to beat the bug pokemon,before he had a chance to check the pokedex,the Dustox used the antennae on its head to
find them.They dodged out of the way of another Psybeam.
Blah.
The Mudkip suddenly closed his eyes,the fin on his head started swaying.Then,he leapt out of Ruby's arms and manages to
hit the Dustox with a water gun,instantely knocking the bug type out.
The boy didn't know that Hoenn had so much wild pokemon,he couldn't return the device just yet,he needed it so that he could escape from each new pokemon he'd meet in the new region.Besides,he could return it since he'd be seeing Birch's daughter in 80 days.
Again,reading from the pokedex,Ruby finds out that the enemy might have had an antennae,but
the Mudkip had a radar on his head.He then turned to the Mudkip,looking at it with a new feeling,something like
fondness(I know,kinda redundant scan,but,Ruby looks cute in this picceh.*gets buried in a pile of Ludicolo*) perhaps?
The boy then named the water pokemon,
Zuzu,because of the constant sound he made with his runny nose.
He told the Mudkip that even though the he was slow,he could be sharp at times,and that even though he himself still had no idea what contests to enter Zuzu in,he had confidence in the Mudfish.With Zuzu on his shoulder,
Ruby then activates his running shoes and heads towards the next city.(Looking kool I might add^^)

At the same time in Littleroot-
Sapphire tugged on the clothes Ruby made for her,getting ready to leave as well.She called for her father,and told him that she would be travelling around Hoenn.Birch gives his daughter a pat on the head and good wishes as she bid farewell.Telling Sapphire to make a name for herself,the girl nodded in agreement.
A Torchic and Aron(called 'Rono' or 'Ronono' in my book,his name ish 'Rono')joined her as she told her father goodbye one last time and to wait for the good news.
She jumped off the balcony and grabbed onto a vine and disappeared into the vast jungle....o.O....XD

Yeah,I know some are unexplainable,like Ruby's microphone appearing out of nowhere,it most likely came from his bagpack.And..Sapphire jumping onto the vine.I have no idea why she did that.Bah!She's just different.^^
I especially loved Zuzu's expressions in this chappie!Especially the 'intelligent' and 'willow' one.XD
