Ho ho, I had a rather nice day today <3}

Fang saw the Glare coming, and tried to jerk away.
{What? Death?} he yelped, but the glare had already worked it's magic. Fang had made the mistake of catchig that sinister, red gaze straight on, and an involentary shudder shot down his spine.
He spread his wings wide and beat them rapidly, feeling them resist. {Bloody...} he muttered, and struggled to return to the air. An instant later Nigina's tail had shot down across Fang, striking him in the stomach with full force. The zubat staggered backwards, and Fang found his confidence slipping away.

"FANG!" Maxie yelled, "get yourself together! Use Confuse Ray! Then go for Bite!" Maxie too was beginning to fear for her pokemon's safety. She had veered from Fang's hit as if it had been her in the arena - the shock of seeing Fang bleed again sent her pulse racing. She was faintly aware of her friends cheering in the background; Maxie's concious mind was elsewhere, back in the days and she and Fang had nothing but each other and their blood on the floor... The colour drained from her face.

Meanwhile, the fight seemed to have returned to Fang. His purple coat was now caked in clotting blood, but he rose above the seviper with a determined grin.
He opened his mouth wide, and fired.
A barrage of soundwaves left his mouth, concentrated to an epic proportion. You could almost see them, moving through the air in a confusing ray of light.
Fang didn't wait for it to hit. He readied his wings, concentrating every fibre of strength into his bones. He threw himself forward towards Nigina in what he hoped would be a back-breaking Wing Attack.
 
OOC: Nah, I'm not dead. They were fairly short posts. Ugh... I've got to get on at nighttime one of these days! Then maybe Silver can actually talk to Zachary... ^-^;;

Great summary and scans Yibber!! Hilarious! I love that part with Mudkip and the faces. ^-^

Oh, and thanks to all who commented on my trainer card. I made sure to use lots of colors seeing as I like colors. =3

Lastly, I will be on here for a while, but I'm also typing a history essay for my History of Russia class at the same time, so forgive me if I don't reply quickly. ^-^

Looking on to the battle in front of them, Zachary folded his arms and sighed. This still didn't look good for Fang, that Seviper was too strong. Not to mention, it looked as if it had no intention of backing down if Fang got hurt real bad. Ron shook his head.

{This battle might be over really soon. It really shouldn't even be going on. Fang could get too hurt and--,} Ron began but was cut short by Silver's shouts of stopping the match.

Zachary turned around. "Huh? Silver?" he said, blinking in confusion. Well, at least she had found her way to them.

She then told Zachary to return his pokemon, and said she didn't want them to get hurt. Or was it him she had said she didn't want to get hurt? She had said it all so fast Zachary really wasn't sure. All he could manage to get out was an, "Uh...." Why would she be that concerned about him anyway... she wasn't very concerned for him when that Ghastly had appeared before him. 'Oh, that doesn't matter Zachary, you just overreacted, like you always do... it's no wonder all the girls you knew at school laughed at you. The only things you can do are freak out from ghosts and knock things over or break them.'

{The girl's lost it... why'd she think we were battling Maxie?} Ron puzzled, frowning a bit.

"I... dunno," Zachary replied as Jena took Silver off to the side to talk with her, "Well, when she comes back from talking to Jena, I've gotta apologize to her."

{If you say so. Girls are weird,} Ron said gruffly, his frown still remaining. Luka shook her head.

{No no, boys are the ones that are weird. They can't pick up on the subtle undertones that we women put out,} the Zigzagoon said with a smirk. Ron's frown deepened.

{Whatever that's supposed to mean. See Zachary? Girls are weird,} the little steel type said to her.

Luka snorted, {Yes, it's as I thought, you have no idea what I'm talking about, do you? Now, I'm not totally certain, but I have a theory that--.}

However she stopped as she saw Nigina's tail strike Fang and cause considerable damage to the little bat. Poor Fang... he was fighting a battle that didn't look like it could be won.

"Oh Fang... poor Maxie. Is Silver done talking yet?" Zachary asked, leaning over to peek at the two girls talking. Luka rolled her deep, brown eyes at both Zachary and Ron. The poor fools, they had no clue... just like all men.

As Silver charged into the clearing, declaring that the battle should end immediately, Valen showed an expression that differed from indifferent for the very first time, it was now one of surprise, followed by a narrowing of the eyes that would have made nurse Gwendolyn proud. The boy had never been one to easily loose his cool, but the constant tromping about of people right in the middle of a supposedly secluded capturing scenario was nerve-racking to say the least, and the sheer stupidity of that little girl...she didn't even seem to know who was battling. Fortunately, another one of the females dragged her aside, more or less allowing the battle to kick off again.

Rai was just about as confused about the proceedings as Valen was, unable to gather his witts enough for even forming a single sentence before Jena had already done the job, dragging Silver a good bit aside and beginning to explain the situation to her.

Meanwhile, Amelia had entered the woods as well, standing only a small distance away from Silver and Jena as they started out their discussion, although she suddenly began feeling very awkward about making her presence known to the others, taking a small step back instead and holding a bit tighter onto Kuro as she saw the battle raging between Nigina and Fang in the distance, a small tear slipping from her right eye and into the ground. Her attention was soon shifted to Silver however, as the girl let slip about her crush on Zachary. The trainee immediately blushed, feeling like she was intruding on something far too personal here and hastily beginning to back down. A bit too hastily perhaps, as she tripped over one of the many roots snaking their way across the forest floor and lost her balance, falling onto her back with a painfully loud thud.

Nigina's grin widened as blood spurted out from the wound she had inflicted on Fang, some of it splattering onto the ground below, painting it a dark red, the Seviper's favourite colour. She did not cease grinning even as the Confuse Ray struck, nor when the Zubat lunged at her and struck her at full force with a Wing Attack that sent the already disoriented snake pok?mon a bit backwards. If anything, she rose up with even more vigour than before, her manic smile spread even wider, a grinning death's head. The smell of blood was in the air, thick enough to taste...and there was more to be had right in front of her, if only she could decipher which of the four Zubats she should strike to obtain it. Without waiting for an order, the Seviper lunged again, her jaws opening wide and her fangs glinting dangerously as they closed in on one of the Zubats she saw in front of her, pressing in ever closer, ready to pierce that purple skin, to release the beautiful liquid held inside, she could almost taste the blood on her lips already...and suddenly, the bat was nowhere to be seen. Nigina blinked in confusion as she continued flying through the air, she wasn't headed for her opponent...she was headed for Kayley.

OOC: Ohh...cliffhangerness! ^-^ Plushie knows what should be done in this situation, so I would appreciate it if there was no interference to it in the posts of the rest of you. Because what she has in mind...I'd really like to see it happen. XD

I hope you write your fic, Alter. The problem with me is my creative juices really don't flow ntil I'm sitting in my purple squishy beanbag writing in my pink floral notepad and using my lovely fountain pen with birds on the plastic, and currently has a purple ink catrdige in. Fweeeee! Writing on the computer just isn't the same.
I'd lie to read your other fics, LA. Is there a chance of that soon? xD}
 
OOC: Heh. Well, as soon as these darned finals are over... who knows? Perhaps I'll post my trainer fic here and try to do more of the others. I need to revamp a bit of my trainer fic though, I started writing that back in like... hm... 2003? Yeah... my writing's improved a lot since then. I sorta re-did it for fanfiction.net because the first time I posted it was on Pokemasters.net's forums. I was Light_Togetic there. ^-^ If you ever wanted to read the second edition of it before I eventually post a newer one on here; then here ya' go. As for the others... we'll see. ^^;

As soon as Zachary looked back from his peeking at how Silver and Jena were doing, he saw the next scene take place in Fang and Nigina's battle. Nigina had apparently thought that she was about to strike the real Fang, but she had miscalculated, and was wrong.

She soared through the air though, and straight towards Kayley! Zachary wanted to help, but there was no way he could get there in time... Nigina was flying through the air guided by her hunger for blood.

{Oh no!} Ron managed to grunt out, stunned. Luka remained silent, she wasn't sure what to feel about this.

Jena had a strange feeling that if she a Silver had decided to stay in the corner,she wouldn't need to be seeing this horribible battle.Nigina striked Fang so hard,that now blood was visible on his body.Jena took a few steps back,not really wanting to see,she would've even looked away if not for the fact that Maxie and Fang needed their support.

Ryne covered her mouth with both hands,shocked at the viciousness shown by Nigina.It was just..scary.And,for the first time,Orjen chose to sit down and watch the battle,not commenting on anything whatsoever.This was one of the reason why their trainer didn't like battling,and neither did them.
{Ouch...}Cascade flinched.

Suddenly,Jena heard a loud thump coming from behind her,wanting to have a reason to get away from the battle,at least for a moment,she turned around and looked around the canopy.Nothing.

{Whats this?}Orjen had followed her,the Wurmple poked a long white thingy with a brown tip,it was actually Kuro's tail.

The girl looked at the ground,not too far from her and the bug type,lieing on the ground,was Amelia and her Meowth.

"Amelia?What're you doing here??"the girl reached one hand out to help the trainee up.

"Eh,you can come along with us I guess,Maxie's having a battle with someone called Valen."Jena said as she turned around reluctantly and proceeded to head back to the battle field.She suddenly froze in shock however,as Nigina flung herself towards Kayley.

"Kayley!"the girl cried out instinctivly,she couldn't do a thing to help,she was too far away.And even if she was beside her,what could she do to help?!

OOC: Aw, thanks Alter! I'm very proud of my little trainer fic. It took me two years before I started writing it to make up the story in its entirety. I take a while to think of these things. XD Dun worry, now that you guys have heard of it, I have to continue it now. ^-^

Erm... not much to post now until either Plushie or Flissie posts. So... I'll be back sometime later tonight. Hopefully... I do have the other half of my Japanese final tonight. @_@ I'm not too worried about it, though my brain's been mush today. I've been working on homework since 9:30 this morning. ~_~ Just took a quick break to check this and give my brain a break.

There are no words that can quite describe Kayley's feelings when she realized that Nigina was lunging towards her, fangs prepared for the taste of blood that she so desperately wanted. Kayley was scared. Oh yes, she was scared. Her blood immediately ran cold, and her eyes became wide with the most fear she had felt in a long while.. The girl began shaking violently with still more fear as the single emotion flooded her.

Fishy had now leaped into action, fully prepared to launch a full-blast Water Gun in Nigina's face, when he realized that he couldn't aim due to the fact that Kayley was shaking way too violently, causing him to lose his grip on her shoulder, the poor Mudkip falling to the ground while Razz stood motionless off to the side, too shocked to do anything.

"AAAAHAAA!!! No! No, stay away!!! Get away! BACK OFF!! DON'T HURT ME!!!!" Kayley cried out frantically, holding out her free hand as if that would repel the serpant, knowing that no words could possibly stop this snake from crushing her beneath those blood red fangs.. She was panicking, panicking so badly that she hadn't even realized what she had done next until it was over.

Reeling back her right arm, she brought her trumpet case forward with a mighty swing, striking Nigina's forehead and nose dead-on with a sickening CLUNK that Kayley herself couldn't hear because her senses were too blinded by fear to properly register the moment in her memory.

Orjen immediately shot up his trainer's leg and onto her other shoulder not occupied by a Tailow,feeling that he'd be much safer up there.Tania gulped,was travelling going to be this dangerous?Oh,Kayley,she couldn't bear to look,covering her face with one wing.

{Call me wen' the bloodshed iz' oveer.}she chirped weakly.Ryne and Cascade took to holding each other tightly.Scared looks on their faces,the Psychic and Water type shut their eyes.

Jena froze as Nigina prepared to bite Kayley.But,it never happened.The girl actually swung her trumpet case at Nigina,and amazingly,hit the Seviper sqaurely on her nose.

{Iz' the bloodshed over alreeady?}Tania peered over her wing,expecting to see anything but Kayley standing there.

"Kayley!You alright?!"Jena slowly walked up to the girl,hoping that Nigina wasn't going to lash out at her.

Chappie 185(Vs Nuzleaf)

Ruby sped through the streets of Petalburg,blowing up skirts and wigs(*gaspen*his sock!!^0^*gets brick'd*) before screeching to a halt somewhere in the middle of the city.Amazingly,Zuzu managed to keep a tight hold onto the boy,maintaining his position on his shoulder.

He realised that the birthday present Norman had given,the running shoes by Devon Corp were actually quite fun once one got used to them,and of great quality as well.Not too far from them,the boy spotted a berries growing on trees.Oran and Pecha berries to be exact.
He quickly ordered Zuzu to was water gun on the..fruit?!XD.Ruby then runs up,his Mudkip opening his bag and the berries dropped in as the boy caught them in a hawt graceful and dancing fashion.

The boy took off his glasses and suddenly exclaimed,'wonderful'.(Expect him to do that,he's always like that,that's why he's so cute and..X3).He told Zuzu that they had to find a hotel to stay for the night,keep a low profile as this was where 'that person' was.As long as he avoided the main streets...Ruby stopped talking,noticing that there was a rustling sound coming from a nearby bush.

Suddenly,a swam of Lotads(AH!!!!X-X) and Seedots jumped out of the shrub,led by a Nuzleaf.
For no reason,Zuzu and the leader lock eyes,glaring at the other with hostility.Without waiting for his trainer to give an order,the Mudkip unleashed a Water Gun at the Wily pokemon.
The Grass Type was far stronger than he looked,going straight through the water attack,launching a Razor Leaf attack at Zuzu,the Mudkip leapt against the trunk of a tree and flew back to the Nuzleaf.He used his front paws to grab onto the leaf on the grass type's head,his hind legs managed to find themselves onto the Nuzleaf's nose,pinching it.

As the Nuzleaf flew back into the forest,yelling wildly,Ruby caught the water type before he could land on the floor.As the pokedex said,Nuzleaf hated getting their long noses pinched.The boy smiled and said 'Nice',causing Zuzu to blush.
Still,something must've happened,for the group of grass pokemon to come flying out of the forest.Ruby brushed the tall grass aside,immediately seeing a frail looking boy with green hair leaning against the trunk of a tree,holding his chest in pain.Ruby hastened to bend down beside the boy and ask him whether he was attacked by a pokemon.

Turned out,he had health problems,he tried catching a pokemon but failed,judging by the broken pokeballs on the ground,he wasn't kidding.The boy wanted to catch a pokemon to call his own,hence he came to that part of the forest beside Petalburg,having heard that alot of pokemon resided there.He thanked Ruby for scaring the pokemon off,saying that the trainer must've used a strong pokemon as he slowly stood up.

Ruby's eyes started sparkling as he heard the boy comment on his pokemon being strong.First,the boy hesistated to think on the remark,before-

Ruby-What perfect judgement!Lets be friends!

And flung his arms around the boy,apparently overjoyed.(Okay dudes,a friendly hug ish all,anyway its Ruby so,yeah.XD)Zuzu sweatdropped at his trainer's overeaction.He then introduced himself and Zuzu to the boy,saying that they were travellers of Hoenn,and aim was to conquer all the contests there,eyes sparkling.(Poor Zuzu,he has been hanging out with Ruby for too long.XD)

Ruby-Since you're such a good guy,I'll help you!Let's try one more time!!

The boy thanked Ruby but before he could finish his sentence,Ruby interrupted by saying that if the boy was ever a judge at a contest,he had to vote for him.

The boy laughed nervously,saying that someone else was coming to teach him how to capture pokemon.Ruby narrowed his eyes,he had a gut feeling about this,something bad was going to happen.
The shadow of a man and a Vigoroth appeared on the horizon.Just before the boy had a chance to call out to the man,Ruby yanked him into a nearby bush and told him to keep quiet and hide.

The man called out the name Wally.
The boy,obviously Wally wondered why Ruby began acting so weird.Ruby told him that he knew the man,all too well.His dark side and more.The Gym Leader of Petalburg,also known as the 'Pursuer of Strength' and..his dad.

"AHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Silver screamed.. "BLOOOOODDDDD!!!" She backed off and walked further away from the bloody scene.. Omigosh.. I actually shouted in front of Zachary.. I'm dead.. He's gonna think I'm some sort of a noisy brat.. I'm-so-dead She then began stamping her feet on the ground..

{Silver's up to being a crazy girl again.. Stamping her feet for no reason..} Yukari told Miruka..

{Is she having some kinda crushing-on-Zachary blues?} Miruka joked..

First of all, good luck with your finals Melissa! ^^ And yay for your fanfic's continueness! But...what do you mean by 'purpose'? And what's with the evil grin? @_@ Oh won't someone please think of the Pidgey!!! Hope she'll be allright, hope she'll be allright, hope she'll be allright...*Rocks back and forth murmuring to self*

Dang, I'm getting an even worse itch to see what happens next. XD

And two years of planning? Dang, you're a pro. *Feels small again* I only got the idea for my fic about...let's see *Counts on fingers*...three days ago. Dang, I feel like such a N00B writer now, and I haven't even posted any of it yet. XD

Oh, and Plushie, that pic is pretty nice except...*Squints* I can't really make out the thingie in the bottom right corner either. Anyways, it's something that Poison is scared of and she jumped onto Volcan's head for protection, ne? ^^

Anyways, this summary was enjoyable too, Yibber, although it didn't really contain any pics as kawai as the previous ones. Meh, and Ruby is...kind of impulsive, isn't he? I mean, hugging a complete stranger because of one little compliment, leaping into the undergrowth as soon as his dad approaches...XD *Putts on safety helmet and readies red herring just in case*

As the trumpet case struck her head on, sending her flying a good bit backwards, Nigina felt something she couldn't remember feeling before...shock. And not only that, for the very first time, the Seviper was afraid of someone...and a human at that. That-that puny creature had hurt her more than almost any of her opponents, all of them trained pok?mon, had managed to do, and Nigina was having major difficulties processing this new setting, the Confuse Ray didn't help either.

Kaika, who had shut her eyes in terror as the Seviper lunged, now stared at the scene in utter amazement, looking at Kayley in an altogether new way. {You-you bes beatings that meanie...} he said, his voice filled with awe, {You bes beatings that meanie all by your alone!}

{Yay Kayley!} Chupon cheered, jumping up and down and clapping his hands enthusiastically.

Rai blinked, suddenly understanding all too clearly what it must have felt like for that guy who had last ended up at the wrong side of Kayley's trumpet case. That case was not exactly lightweight, he imagined, and the heavy 'clunk' sound when it had struck pretty much proved his theory...Rai had to admit that the sound in itself had made him feel slightly nauseous, not that the battle hadn't already done that for him, but he was still glad that Kayley was alive and well.

"Quick-quick thinking, Kayley." he commented, giving the girl a weak smile.

{Don't let your guard down just yet!} Ashura snapped at the others' rejoicing, {This battle is still far from over! Look!} she pointed one of her bladed arms towards Nigina. The Seviper seemed to be recovering from the initial shock, although she now swayed back and forth in a definitely dazed manner, glaring at Kayley with a mixture of hate and fear in her expression as she showed of her fangs defiantly, preparing to lash out again.

"Never mind that girl, Nigina!" Valen snapped, raising his voice for the very first time since Rai had heard it as he glared at the Seviper. This was supposed to be an easy sic and pull job, and what happened? People shouting and running right and left, Nigina going out of control, and now the snake pok?mon was getting manhandled by a girl and her trumpet case? Even Valen's patience had its limits, and they had been tested far beyond the boundaries of decency and common sense "Concentrate on that Zubat!" he locked eyes with the serpent pok?mon, recieveing a defiant, and somewhat unsteady, glare in return.

{You...you do not command me trumpetcaseman!} she hissed, raising her tailblade treatheningly as she swayed about even more unsteadily than before, {No-no-one commands me! No-one! The trumpetcaseman must die!}

Valen's eyes widened slightly in shock as he noticed what the Seviper was about to do, the boy instantly leaping back as far and fast as he could. It was too late though, as Nigina had already swung her tail, the blade slicing straight through Valen's left sleeve. Unlike what one might have expected however, there was no cry of agony or jet of blood spurting out. But instead, the crackle of electricity, and the screeching sound of metal being sliced.

The boy's face whitened ever so slightly as the snag machine broke and began spluttering, small sparkles of electricity building up all about it as it fell to the ground, crackling for a while before it fizzled and died.

OOC: Guh... ~_~ Well, my Japanese final would have been better last night if I hadn't felt horrible during the whole thing. Let's just say I had to take some medicine when I got home because I had to keep running to the bathroom every 15 minutes to go. >_< All I could think of through the whole test was the bathroom!! Arghh! Oh well... I did very well on the first half of the final and through the whole class, so it doesn't really matter what happened to my last half. I believe it was the stress that did it to me. Stress always messes with my health. Oh, and sorry for the embarrassing info... but it would have seemed weird if I didn't explain it. ^-^;

On a lighter note, I think my English final went well, and my teacher even told me what a great student I was. *blush* I love nice teachers! Thus why I want to be one someday; I want to make people feel good about themselves.

Yay! I love Wally! I wish he were in the anime... ;_; Oh, and Ruby's expression as they hide in the bush is too funny! And the hug was cute! Though, I agree Yibber, RubyXSapphire>RubyXWally. Oh yes.

Ah Alter, I'm glad people that read my fic have feelings for Pidgey (she was only there for a short time, and I wasn't sure if I had done enough with her to make people care about her), and as I stated, she has a great purpose that will not be revealed for about five more chapters or so. Heh heh. I'd better stop talking or I'll ruin it! >.> Lucky for you though my break's almost here, and that means I'll have a chance to update!

Kayley was luckily spared the blow of Nigina's fangs by using her trumpet case to smash the head of the Seviper. It was an awful sound that came from the two objects colliding, but only Luka was the one to flinch. Both Ron and Zachary both stood uneffected by the smash; they had heard this sound before many times, and had heard worse too.

After Nigina had become dazed, Jena asked Kayley if she was alright. Silver screamed about the blood. Zachary stared down at the blood that Silver had been talking about... and then over to the backing away Silver.

"Don't worry," he said to her, "Better than blood from our side again." She sure was scared. And this was the girl that had snapped at him from before? What had changed between then and now to make her so... nervous?

{Eh, I think the snake has lost it,} Ron said thoughtfully, {She'd better watch it, if she does anything impulsive, I don't think we're all gonna let her.}

However, before Zachary could comment, Nigina had sliced a bit of Valen's shirt. Well... it was supposed to be his shirt.

"What the? Um... anyone mind explaining what's going on here?" Zachary asked in a confused, yet suspicious voice. He was pretty sure that the destroyed contraption that had just fallen to the ground and died wasn't some kid's toy.

Luka's eyes widened in recognition. That certainly was no toy... but did she really want to let out that she knew what it was? No pokemon wanted to be associated with that ugly contraption. At least... any pokemon that wasn't brainwashed or insane.

{Hey... you okay Luka?} Ron asked the Zigzagoon, {You look kinda funny.}

Luka shook her head, {I've... I've seen one of these before.} It was an understatement. {They're awful contraptions. Human's use 'em and they're called something. I... I don't remember. I think they're used to steal pokemon or something.} She was pretending not to know much; these things had to be dealt with delicately.
