Satoshi won't leave the show people. You can push him off of your "cliffs" all you want but it won't happen. Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Adventures is available and PokéSpecial is being re-released this summer. You don't have to watch the show if Satoshi is there because he's not in every form of Pokémon entertainment.
 
why don't they just make a new main charcter but still have Ash/Satoshi on the show. He just won't be that important.

No Im not sick of Ash, just this thread. IT will never die.. the switching female is annoying, Misty was the best.

and Ash stoping Team Magma/Aqua doesn't count because he really didn't do anything except in couple epsiodes like the one when Groundon and Kyoger were awakend

We really need a new anime...
 
I think someone else here said, that the same people complaining about Ash now will be the same ones complaining when/if he leaves. Pure irony. xP
 
Ok fine so what if he stoped them, anyone could have stoped them, even me
we still need a new chracter.
 
What do you mean "so what"? You wanted the main character to stop the villains.

Just admit it would be pointless because the new main character will do what Satoshi does now.

I mean we need a Chracter who is kinda is not out to become a pokemon master but someone who saves the day. Someone who has a griping and tragic past. Someone who is more human.
 
Satoshi saves the day all of the time.

Also, you don't need a "gripping and tragic" past to be more human. I don't have a gripping and tragic past and I'm certainly human. If you want a character like that, read fanfiction.
 
Ash is not really that big of a hero because he was there at the right time
What I ment by Tragic Past is that we don't know much about Ash. A new character would need a detailed past.
 
It doesn't matter if Satoshi was there at the right time, he still saves the day.

Anyway, the character's past has no reason to be brought up in Pokémon for the story.
 
Ok,what's Satoshi's reason for becoming a pokemon master?
We still need a new Anime that's targeted at broader aduience...
 
I just wish they would make him age. If each different region and area (like the orange islands or frontier) was one year, then he still should look older than the first episode
 
Ash is just getting old. Not in age, though...well he's losing popularity. If he plummets down enough...
you might expect a new character after all.
